Genuinely I've been going here for about a year now and this will be the last time that I go I'm tired of the online pricing, which is set by the owner being circumvented once I get into the store if it's online and I buy four items for $72 and I pre-order them. The expectation is that those items are done $72 in store managers will try to barter you and offer to lower the prices after you mentioned that the price listed on the website does not match the price in store in addition to the fact that they legally charge $3.50 on debit card charges. Easy process for secure entry, very nice interior. Friendly staff, soooo much product to choose from including edibles and drinks. About $3 fee to pay with debit card. I'm new to the world of marijuana and suffer from chronic back pain and so far I have had two really great experiences while visiting Highway 29 Healthcare. I actually came back the second time because of the bad experience I had when I went to check out the Dixon Wellness Collective (never again!). Unfortunately at that place their condescending staff treated me with way less professionalism and seemed off put to answer any questions I had. But at Highway 29, I was helped by Allen. Really nice guy and he did not have any problems answering my questions on CBD/THC ratios for gummies. He even introduced me to CBN (sleep aid) which I didn't even know about! Props to Allen, thanks dude! On the same visit, while talking to Allen about my back pain and telling him it could be nerve related, Penny joined the conversation and recommended a specific tincture for my pain as it is faster acting and for targeting pain deep within the body. Grreat customer service from Allen and Penny, both of who were very knowledgeable and I can't thank them enough for their recommendations and positive attitudes. Our first visit went well. During that visit, we saw an ad for a special coming up. The budtender confirmed, and we said we would return that day for the special. 4 days later, the special had been changed, and the budtender rudely told us that we should have called first. I contacted the manager via email, and she responded that the budtender that was rude to us was one of their best. A good deal is good enough to get me to try a place. Poor customer service, especially rude staff and management unwilling to adequately follow up on customer concerns, is enough to lose my business. We will not be returning. read more

The higher prices keep out the Vallejo detritus so coming here is always a safe and fast transaction. The same applies to inventory. I dont need to drive all over The Bay area for CareByDesign capsules in the strength and quantity I need. The edibles section is always well stocked with the same edibles that have been around for years however I would like to see some of the newer terpene-specific edibles the delivery dispensaries are stocking. Highway 29 Health Care, for the most part, is a well run establishment. It's conveniently located on Sonoma Blvd. in a fairly decent part of town. The facility is clean, well kept and has easy access to an ATM. The products sold are high-quality and priced very competitivly, especially when compared to their competitors, and they are kind enough to display their current menus on TV screens throughout the premises. My only issue is with Highway 29 Health Care is the budtenders. The budtenders aren't as knowledgeable about the products they sell with one budtender not even realizing the basic fact that hybrid strains can either be indica or sativa dominant. Whenever I go to this, or any other dispensary, I usually ask budtenders for their personal recommendations on an indica or indica-dominant hybrid. The budtenders at VHHC, for example, will always have a strain or three that meets my requirements and that they can easily recommend from having personally tried it. The budtenders at Highway 29 will often tell me that they can't personally comment on whatever strain they're selling me as they haven't sampled them. And while the majority of the budteners are fairly polite and well mannered, the one budtender whom didn't understand the basics of marijuana strains was rather rude and seemed to be proud of his ignorance, even going so far as to make a snarky comment. In short, the budtenders could greatly benefit from being given samples of the products they sell and from more training and education. In conclusion, Highway 29 Health Care is a decent dispensary that benefits greatly from its location and very competitive prices, and suffers slightly because of budtenders that fail to provide the same level of service as their counterparts at competing dispensaries can. read more

I've been coming to Highway 29 for several years now and every time I stopped in there I have an amazing experience on my first entry into this Collective I really noticed the amazing flower they had in the next room that you can visually see from the counter very cool I also remember the banana OG that they had I believe exclusively but oh my God a bud to remember it's one of those buds that you can smoke in a constant wind and still be too high to finish the joint. So, we went with a few friends. We spend a couple hundred dollars and still were not allowed to use the restroom. They have a clearly labled bathroom IN THE LOBBY. I really use to enjoy this club but I can't come here anymore. My favorite budtender who was super knowledgeable is no longer there and I always end up getting the guy with the ski mask and accent helping me who always makes my experience very uncomfortable and suggests terrible products to me. Last time I visited was with my wife and once again we got the same weird guy who didn't get the hint that we didn't like froot products and that we wanted something more top shelf but he kept pushing terrible products that we repeated over and over that we didn't care for. This was my wife's first time coming into the store with me and she told me the same budtender was peeking at her cleavage everytime I turned around to look at products and that she felt uncomfortable because he kept starring at her and hovering over us when we were looking at the edibles.
