(10 am to 1:00 pm on Friday the 19th) I tried to answer every call I received in that time range, but never heard from the estimator. At 1:54 pm while I was on another call, I received a voice mail from the estimator that he was on his way to the property and should be there by 2:00. I called him back at 2:03 and was told he was already there and had left. He would not return to the house and told me to call the office to reschedule.

Co-owner Steve came yesterday morning and figured out what we needed. He knew the type of glass that would be shatterproof and suitable for the unique door of our 1885 house. They replaced the livingroom picture window, replaced the locking mechanism on the bathroom window, put a new seal at the bottom of the screen door, replaced the garage window (swept the garage floor), repaired and sealed framework on 4 basement windows due to rot, and repaired a large window screen. The workers were very knowledgeable, friendly and careful of my home and cleaned up any mess created. They finished everything in about 2 hours - amazing! But there were two problems that really took this from a 5-star to a 2-star experience. First, I had purchased a warranty on the windshield. The tech who conducted the replacement informed me he had run out of paperwork for the warranty. His solution was that I drive to the Henderson location to get the paperwork. What's the point in a mobile service if I have to drive to the shop anyways? Second, the got some sort of black stuff (grease, adhesive, I dont know) all over the headliner of my vehicle, which is light grey. I had to have my car professional detailed to the tune of $300, and light stains still remain.

When we initially called the company, we explained that we would be using a renovation loan to fund the project and went into detail how said loan worked with payment. We were assured that it was ok, thus we scheduled an estimate. We had a limited amount of days to get the quote in to our lender, and was upfront about that. We were told by the estimator that we would have the quote either later that day or the next. We ended up having to hound the company for the quote and it took a week to receive, thus delaying our close. It was like pulling teeth receiving information from this company. The worst part was when it came time for us to receive the clear to close. Our bank sent Michigan Screen & Window Repair the agreement, and on the third business day they still hadn't sent the agreement back. With renovation loans, you need a signed agreement in order to receive the funds for the project. After many calls, we learned that they REFUSED to sign the agreement because they needed the deposit first. Why it took 3 business days to tell us this is beyond us. We then said we could write a personal check so that we could get the agreement signed. Once the bank cuts them the check, they could just reimburse us. They said NO and would only return the deposit check to the bank. At this point we had our mortgage officer call them to try to explain better and they wouldn't budge. They even told our mortgage officer that they would have to send the agreement to their attorney first to review "and this would add time and money to our quote". Our bank has never had this issue with any contractor before, and we do not have these issues with our other two separate contracting projects. The phone call ended with Michele (their office manager) telling us that we would be best going with a different company. We were supposed to get the clear to close on our house today, and instead we are scrambling to find a whole new contractor. What this company has done is completely unforgivable and unprofessional and WILL be reported to the BBB for how they handle business. It should have been communicated to us from the beginning that they cannot accommodate renovation loans and time frames, especially since that was the premise of our first conversation with them. Do NOT use this company for your screen or window needs. You will regret it.

Unlike the reviews for auto glass and…read moreshower doors, Gary is very unprofessional when it comes to his Quaker replacement window business. I had 13 windows replaced last summer of which 4 of them were double (side by side) windows. 1 of those was bowed so bad it couldn't be hidden and the installers had Gary come right over and look at it and he then followed up with calling the factory rep. That replacement was also severely bowed and needed to be ordered for the third time to get a satisfactory product. Another of those was slightly bowed and replaced but the wood used for the extension jambs looks like it is water damaged. A third double was jacked pretty bad and had bent hardware but was installed complete as if it were except-able but was also later replaced. When the factory rep finally came over with Gary to look at the first install, his excuse was that "these windows are built in a small town that requires more employees than the size of that town and that GOOD HELP IS HARD TO FIND". Keep in mind that they don't expedite the re-ordered windows, you get them when you get them. One of the windows was missing a vent/drain part on the outside bottom of the window and after the factory sent a new one it was the wrong size so they took the other one off to try and get the right size this time. This spring I went to his shop to see why they haven't replaced the parts and he had them in his truck and never came by to fix it after all this time. I also told him that the three windows that were remade all were missing the safety latches and he said he would be over the next day, yet never showed up. I called him the day following and he said he called the factory rep instead. And today I still wait for a reply. Gary lives in the same neighborhood and yet can't fix the problem or give an update regarding his call to the rep. My advise-- Check your windows over really good and make sure they are unflawed and not bowed, crooked, jacked, bent hardware, missing parts, or bowed screens like mine were before you submit final payment. From here I guess I go to the BBB. He was going to quote putting storms in my porch and never followed through.

Beware!! They have a rating of D - !! Will not answer or…read morereturn calls or emails. Job is not complete and charged an outrageous amount. The job was not professionally done! In June they were to come out and replace ALL the old insulation from my attic and adjoimimg and blow in new insulation after they had cleaned and disinfected the area due to bats and bat guano. The area needed to be sprayed before removal so as to not have dust become airborne. That was not done, Nothing was protected or covered in the 2 rooms upstairs and everything needs to be deep cleaned and washed as there is a layer of dust on all belongings. Bat guano contains spores of fungus which cause respiratory illness and I have to now spend time in those rooms and breathe that in! The disinfectant that was used was ZEP disinfectant and cleaner which is not a professional grade fungicide and disinfectant for the job. This needed to be sprayed down and I was told that they did not want to get it wet since they would be blowing in insulation. So why did they not wait and come back the following day? I looked into the attic room a couple of weeks later, due to the smell that was still noticeable, and saw that all the guano infested insulation was partly torn off the walls and hanging there. This old insulation was NOT removed and the smell is still present (I was told it would go away in about 2 weeks). I have called and eft messages for Trevor and Steve and left messages in the office as no one will pick up the phone when I call. I have tried calling at different times of the day, but no response. I have also Emailed both and again no response to my emails either. I have been trying to contact someone for months now. Plus I still had a bat flying around in the house last month. No quality control , no inspection and no clean up was done. Price assessment Overpriced

I can not, in good faith, recommend Premier Home Solutions. I am not sure if they are dishonest or…read morejust unprofessional. I had them quote a tear off and replacement of my roof back in 2022. The first person who quoted me gave a very good price. After getting a few more quotes done, I decided to move forward with them. However when I called to get the process moving, I was informed that the quote I was provided was inaccurate, and that the person who had given it to me was no longer with the company. They came out and requoted me, and although it was higher than the first quote, it was still reasonable and I moved forward with them. I had switched insurance companies and the new one was demanding I get the replacement done by a set date or lose coverage, so I didn't have much time, at that point, to go back out to the market. The work was completed and it came out fine. However when the workers were finished, they left numerous 4x8 sheets of plywood and other material laying in my yard. I thought they were coming back for it but they never did. I wasn't thrilled, but no big deal. Fast forward to December of 2025 and I am in the process of selling my home, only to find out that Premier Home Solutions never closed out the permit they pulled for the roofing project. I contacted them to let them know about the expired permit, and they tell me they will get it taken care of. Getting ready for closing, a month later, and I find out that they still have not closed out the permit. I call them again and I am told that they thought they had call on it and would get back to me, that afternoon, after looking into it. Of course, no call back. I contacted the building's department and they contacted Premier Home Solutions and charged a $280 fee to get the final inspection and close out the permit. I called Premier Home Solutions to see when they planned on paying it and scheduling the inspection. No answer, I leave a message and no call back. The fee has been showing unpaid for over a week now and I called again, and again, no answer. So now I have to pay an additional $280, to get the permit cleared so the sale of the home can go smoothly. These are not the actions of a trust worthy business and I would definitely tell people to stay clear of this business.
