In Lansing, you just have to go downtown, to Hack's Key Shop. I lost the key to my motorcycle, stupid me. I looked all over for it, and finally gave up. I took a lock off my bike, went down to Hack's, and half an hour later I had a key (and copies!) that would let me ride again. It cost $20 for the first key, every key thereafter was a reasonable $4. Those are pretty good rates - this isn't the first time I've had to do something like this.

While I was on the phone with the rep, I canceled the service on the same phone call that requested the service as I was able to get inside my home another way. The rep who was on the phone with me that night did NOT say that there would be no refunds. He said he would check with the team and see what they could do. After calling the business every business day until I could get confirmation on my refund, one of the leads was very rude and told me that I would not be getting my money back as it's "nonrefundable" due to it being a "after-hours night service" - he really tried to make me feel bad that I was using their "24 hour service business" late at night for why they "need" the pre-payment. Facts: 1) NO REPS LEFT YOUR OFFICE TO GO TO MY HOME. 2) I never signed a contract agreeing to any sort of service or non-refundable payment. 3) Due to it being "late night", your team needs a (non-refundable) "pre-payment" before they can come - despite your business being listed as 24 Hours. I have given East Lansing Locksmith a month to DO THE RIGHT THING and refund me my hard-earned $225. If I receive my money back, I will take this negative review down.
