Absolutely awful dealership. Within a year, my car was in the shop four different times - every time being the engine. Check engine light was on the day after i bought it and every day since. It finally broke down and i was taken serious by Hyundai. My car was in the shop for TWO months, but of course i was still expected to pay. NOPE! I told every collection caller that they would be paid in full when i saw my car was fixed and drivable - each time i got an "okay, i understand". Not once did this crap dealership give me an update on my car. I had to keep up with it through Hyundai. I was never told it was ready or picked up. When i found out it was, i called to find out how much was owed & let them know I'd be paying when i got off work. By the time i called (4 hours later), i could no longer pay and my car was being repossessed. I got no warning. I wasn't told that if i didn't pay at the 11am call that i would no longer have a vehicle. & to their convenience, they "don't record their phone calls" of every time they told me it was ok to pay when it was ready. Honestly worst place ever. Never get a car here. I came in to get a car and everything was great at first I was told that they'd fix any issues with the car before I had to sign for it. I had my friend come in and test drive the car. He noted a couple of problems and told the dealer that this was the issue I was told when I come back to get the car that all the issues should be fixed by then great right? Well come around about a week later I come to make an official payment and get the car and they didn't fix the issues with the car and there was still zero gas in the car and it was literally drained all the way down to where I could literally not have any gas and be stranded on my first day of getting the car. I had to rush and pay for my own gas and hope that the car will make it to a gas station. Then the car won't even get on the highway and I keep getting dashboard lights they said they would pay for it I took it in to get it fixed they said that everything would be fine I wouldn't have to make any payments and asked me to sign something my fault for not reading I thought it was just to confirm that the car was fixed and everything no instead they wanted more money from me even though they said they were gonna fix the car. These people are scam and con artists they do not care all they want is money. Then I come to make a payment a month ago and they told me I owe over $500 and they're gonna repo my car. I told them that we had an agreement you said that I wouldn't have to make any payments on the fixes yet here I am having to rush around and find $500 on top of paying the car bill. They said it's no big deal we'll just add it onto the amount and you can pay it off later on I was like great right? I go in to make another payment and they take the money I gave them and instead of putting it towards the car they put it towards the payment for the fix without telling me and without my permission and then they say I'm late on my car bill. They then spoke to collections and repo my car. Absolutely ridiculous. These people sell crap cars that I believe they wash and put it on the lot. I bought a Honda crv about a year ago and in that years time I had to buy 4 new tires. The ones on the car were dry rotted and was told they were unsafe. Then the ac went out then the catalytic converter went out. Got them both repaired 2300 for that 500 for tires. Then the acuator on the ac quit working now you get hot on one side cold on the other. Sunroof quit working, transmission not shifting right. Then the check engine light came on again. Catalytic converter again. They said they couldn't do anything about it. This all happened in the first year. I have bought from these types of dealerships and had good luck, but these guys are the worst. I was basically toldoh years we sell quality cars, but dn mark you got screwed tough tit. They lied when making financial agreements with me and repo'd my car, during the Covid Pandemic when I've faithfully paid every payment over (2) years and only owed $732 to completely pay the car off. First, I am 24 years old, and I look younger then my age. But that does not mean I should be talked down on and for your salesman to be rude to. I walked in early today around 5:40 pm- ish, and I went to the counter, told them that I was looking for a salesman. The lady at counter pointed to the guy. We walked outside, and I explained that I was here for a car. And he kept asking me how I heard about them, I explained that a coworker of mine recommended yall. I told him I don't have a license yet, but I have my friend who does, to drive it for me. But he kept on asking for my friends address and other unnecessary information. And I tried to explain to him that we just wanted to test drive a car. He was rude to us, basically talked down on me. He rudely asked if my friend had a job, and proof of income - instead of me when I am the one wanting to buy the car. I make enough to buy a car and I had saved enough to buy one. I put $2,000 down for the car total the want $15,000 for the charger I payed for my own tint and the key fobs was not working I had to go buy my own key-fob which was $180 that came out my pocket ! Me and my brother was in the car and the car literally stopped on me and we had two wait 45 minutes on a tow truck for them to come get the car ! My salesman told me oh your car was ready for pick up and I go pick it up they drained all my gas out the car I did not know until I call my salesman that night and him telling me that there was no gas in it and that replaced it ! Over the weekend my car was pick up due to being behind on my payment. Which is completely my fault and I respect that. What I do not respect is the gentleman that was sent to pick up my vehicle, didn't come in a tow truck. He came in a personal vehicle with a women and I assume their child. When he called to see if I wanted to get my car seats out of the car, I walked outside and he was extremely rude to me. When he heard my kids crying from inside he demanded to know who was in my house and told me that he would be calling CPS on me if I didn't tell him. First of all, he was he to pick up my car. I have a four year old and a two year old and not that it was his business but my 19 yr brother was inside. But the guy refused to respect the privacy of my home and was completely unprofessional. I am a great mother. Yes, I am behind on my car payment but my children are taken care of. I would NEVER leave them alone with out supervision and I also didn't want them outside while I was trying to retrieve their stuff out of my car and worry about them being outside with me. I get the car being picked up and I understand I was half a payment behind but I am still a person and should be treated as such. The way he handled himself had me in tears for hours. Threatening to call CPS on someone is serious and doing so out of spite and being a jerk is unprofessional and to do it as a parent himself, I can't believe it. I was unable to get my personal belongings out of the car and would like ALL of personal items back ASAP. As for doing business with Discount Motors, I am completely done. I will NEVER be treated that way again from anywhere I do business. You should be ashamed. Update : Martin was very nice and brought my personal belongings to the lot of me to pick up. However, I'm missing several items including a brand new box of diapers size 6 that I purchased the Friday night before mu car getting picked up along with my expensive maroon backpack I got for a Christmas gift. And most importantly I had a box that had a flower from my grandmother's funeral from 2013 I have managed to keep it completely intact this entire time. It was in our trunk because I recently moved and when I retrieved all my stuff the flower was ruined, completely broken apart. NOTHING CAN REPLACE IT AND IT IS DESTROYED. my heart is broken. UPDATE 2/28/2020 @9:05 am : I just called the lot and spoke to someone, I told them about my missing items and was informed that I could have "avoided losing my personal items if I had just made a payment". Bought a car back in November and had to put over 10 grand into it. Been in the hospital and been talking to corporate about paying the full amount to get everything caught up which is only less than $500, they swear up-and-down at that they were not going to take it, I get up this morning they have it towed and said that is not their problem that we have been in the hospital that is our problem that we are nothing and just but you money to them. Every time they take it to one of their dealerships they replace something that I have poked my own money out to repair like new tires battery spark plugs you name it they have taken and changed it with some God-awful alternate 1 that doesn't barely work and they don't realize that I have serial numbers for all this stuff. And then there people still stuff out of my vehicle like I've had my car seat stolen I've had jumper cables still in the original wrapping not even open Jed a Jack that again original wrapper not ever opened toys clothes and had money you name it they have taken it and cording to discount motors again and not their problem.
