However, we were later informed that we would need to pay an additional $500 just for them to return to the property and prepare a detailed estimate. This would bring our total to over $1,000 without any actual repair work being completed. When we questioned this and asked if they were interested in taking on the job, we did not receive a clear answer. For a project of this size, transparency and communication are critical. Charging such a high additional fee simply to provide a detailed bid--especially after already paying for an inspection--feels unreasonable and discouraging. Unfortunately, this experience has led us to look elsewhere for a company that is more straightforward.

The appt was set for between 10 am and noon. They ran behind and didn't show until around 1 pm. The biggest issue though was that their estimate to swap out the disposal. The new one was already here waiting, and their estimate was $402 just to do the swap. Absolutely ridiculous. I laughed and sent them on their way, and then called another company that was here in less than 10 minutes. They did the job for $125.
