The people that work here are top notch. They offer good deals on tires. However, what's the point of making an appointment for a tire rotation and balance, if it's going to take an hour to even get my car into a bay? I had an appointment for 10:30, it was 11:30 before they even started. I was 10 minutes early, to give them time to get me in the system. My point is, what's the difference between making an appointment and just showing up?? We generally make appointments because we have things to do, and plans for the day. Hunter, Khari and Josh went above and beyond expectation. Hunter and Khari helped me on Friday after I had to buy a new rim and tire from a flat on the hwy the night before. They were very patient with me and understanding that I was really trying to make this process less stressful than it already was. Hunter is a student and Khari was new but they paired together and made the experience worth it. I had to go back due to my tire light not going off. I did have a slight mishap with an employee that morning but as I came back for the second time that day Josh could see how stressed I became again and stepped up to high expectations and fixed my problem. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE! Manager/Owner "COLTON" is a LIAR!!!! Two months ago, I came into this place just to have my tires inflated. I have a high end RV and have been traveling the country. So I have my tires checked regularly and never had ANY problems until I rolled into this place! Mechanic checked tires and took off hub caps while doing so - after inflating a couple he said I was "Good to go"! Went directly to a campsite, less than 10 miles away, and when I got out, I noticed that my back right hub cap had fallen off!! I immediately called this place and asked for the Manager and thenColton got on the phone - He told me that he was sorry about the incident and to come back and he would set things right. I came back the next day and he looked at it, took measurements and told me that he would replace it- and would order it right away. After several phones calls to him, seven texts messages and TONS of excuses- TWO MONTHS LATER -NOTHING!!! These are expensive to replace and their mechanic did NOT put them back on correctly - Not only did the rim(s) come off, but for TWO MONTHS, I have had to chase this Colton Guy down, on the phone, and he keeps texting me back lots of excuses, time and time again, blaming the Fed Ex people that the order didn't come through- or the paperwork got lost-- BLAH BLAH BLAH!!! HE IS A LIAR!! DO NOT TRUST HIM OR THIS PLACE!!! Later that week, the other back hub cap fell off! I have been to 10 other tire places, across this country, and had NO problems!! So initially I was very upset about a situation that rubbed me raw that a person that works at a different location now, had rotated my tires and gave me back what I thought was the right hub key. This was on January 9, 2019. I've had the tires rotated since then so it may have been another employee that swiped keys accidentally in a hurry. Had an awesome experience here! Was frustrated because I found a nail in my tire as I was heading out of town Saturday, left my car at home to be fixed Monday. Had an appointment at 8:30am and I was immediately assisted when I walked in. Appreciate Brandon B as he guided me through my options and was very helpful even when I wasn't fully awake to function. Didn't try to oversell me and when a tire wasn't in stock, he found me another option without issue. Appointment was at 8:30am and from the time I inserted my credit card to when my car was ready, it was only about 20 minutes! All of the employees were nice and helpful. I am a college student and was worried they'd try to upsell me since it was just me for the appointment, but I am pleasantly surprised how professional and helpful they were! I had locking lug nuts on my car and that was no issue for them with the key that goes to them. Outstanding work and had me back on the road 2 hours before I needed to be somewhere. I was a walk-in and was told my wait time may be between 35 and 40 minutes, but all service was completed about 20 minutes from the time I signed in. All employees were professional and friendly. I was offered coffee and bottled water. Trevor P. was helpful in explaining the condition of my tires. Eric J. and other employees carefully completed work on my car (you are able to sit where you can watch work being completed on your vehicle or in a waiting area). I took my other vehicle for servicing a couple of days later and Nathan gave me a rebate on four new tires because the ones I had were in dire need of replacement. If I could give this location and company more than 5 stars I would. I just moved to New Braunfels last week from Florida and am not familiar with Texas at all. I went to visit a friend in Fort Worth and was making my way back home and about 1.5 hours into my drive I hit a huge piece of asphalt in the middle lane on I35. I immediately blew out my tire and didn't even know what town I was in. I changed out the tire to my spare and still had 150 miles until I would get home and knew it wouldn't be a good idea to drive that fast and far on a donut. I called WalMart auto right across the street and they said it would be over 2 hours before they could change it. I looked up other local places and what are the chances I was 0.5 miles from a place called "Discount Tires". I have NEVER had a flat tire; let alone had an issue arise with my car when I was alone hundred of miles from anyone I knew. I drove over without calling and opened the front door. There was an employee who was coming out so I held the door for him. He walked through the door and to my surprise he was actually coming to greet me! I didn't even have to go inside to get service. He went to my car and did a full tire inspection on all tires and asked me what happened. We then went inside, he showed me my options and went over all pricing. We agreed on a tire that was most comparable to my current. I was willing to wait however long since I was a walk in without an appointment. He told me it would be less than 45 minutes! 15 minutes later they were pulling my car back. Unfortunately when they got the wheel off they realized it would need a new rim. The mechanic came to the lobby to get me and took me to the bay to show me the damaged rim. He showed me the options of rims that were comparable to what I had (I didn't expect them to have the exact stock Hyundai rims I had) but at this point I was willing to take ANYTHING. We picked one out and they had that wheel rolling in no time. Everyone I encountered (3 different employees) were so friendly and concerned! I didn't feel ripped off at all and felt they were genuine. They all even asked me personable questions like where I was going and since I'm new to Texas they gave me suggestions on things I should do and see. The only way the experience would of been better is if I didn't have a flat tire in the first place! I really appreciate the efficient and friendly customer service. I highly recommend!!!! read more
