The people here at Discount tire did a awesome job of taking me in on walk in, showing me what caused my flat and patched the hole and went ahead and checked my other tire and went ahead and pulled the nails and patched those too! I usually use the store in College Station but I was out at the weekend place when the tractor tire went flat.. hot an bothered I took the tire off and hauled it in to the Brenham store. It just needed a valve stem and a guy named Key took the tire, fixed it and set me on my way. They were very helpful and I am very grateful. read more

Traveling across east Texas and had a blowout just outside Lake Somerville State Park. Put on the spare and went on into the campground. The next morning I called Brenham Discount Tire and Terry was awesome. Had to order the tires I wanted and told him we had reservations at the lake for ten days. He told me if he ordered them now they could be in by 5 pm the same afternoon. He called at 4:30 pm and said the tires were in and if I could be there by 5:30 pm, he could get us in. We arrived on time and they were swamped but Terry walked out to my truck looked at what I had and told me it would take about 45 minutes. The guys in the shop were taking care of business but still looked like they were having fun. Thanks to Discount Tire and Terry I am once again a happy camper. read more

So, I call on a price for tires on the wife's Mini - they quote me a base price of $80 for the tire over the phone so I tell them to go ahead and get them. tires come in, somehow the $80 has now turned into $106 each. i call them out on this, the guy says there must have been a misunderstanding - No, there was no misunderstanding, these clowns pulled the old bait and switch; i don't have time to go elsewhere, so they have stuck me with over $100 more than what they quoted. Nothing more but a bunch of liars, i could care less about how fast they run around and put tires on or about free Blue Bell ice cream, a cardinal sin in business is to compromise your integrity and be dishonest with customers. First, I see that there are 5 other reviews that have been hidden from view of potential customers here. Right away, that's a problem. MY review of this particular location (in Brenham) will NOT give it more than ONE star so it will probably also be deemed as [quote] "not recommended" and no doubt also censored from the view of potential customers. With that said, what I want to say here to potential customers of this business location is "BUYER BEWARE". Because I have a VERY GOOD REASON to believe that when I brought my car to this place to have a slow leak in my front passenger side PRACTICALLY NEW TIRE diagnosed, the representative from this location stated that the leak was found to be in the area of the sidewall and that a leak in the sidewall prevented the tire from being repaired and that the tire would have to be replaced. So I did that. Bought a new tire from them, they didn't return the defective tire to me. I took my car home and kept it in my garage and didn't drive it anywhere for the following two weeks. Then the tire on the REAR passenger side started doing the SAME THING that the OTHER tire had done. This time around, I took my car elsewhere to be diagnosed. At the other business, the rear deflating tire was found to have a leak in the SAME AREA AS THE FIRST TIRE HAD. Coincidence? I would say NOT. So I called and spoke with someone who identified himself to me as being the assistant manager of the Discount Tire location in Brenham and explained to him what had happened. To my dismay, he became defensive about it rather than at least offering to look further into the matter. I explained to him that the management personnel at this location should not be dismissive about a customer's concern and he stated to me that, in effect, he wasn't concerned because all the employees who work there are totally incapable of doing anything dishonest or questionable. Potential customers of this particular business location have the right to be aware of what happened to me there and to then assess the situation for themselves. Took my car here after I hit a pothole and busted up a tire. They changed it with no problem since it was under warranty. A day later I noticed that the pressure in the tire they changed kept falling, so I took it to another discount tire where they found not one but two big dents in the rim that was letting air out. Either the discount tire here didn't notice it or just neglected to tell me. read more

I have been a discount tire customer for several years and won't buy tires anywhere else simply because they offer great customer service by a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous staff. Was just in there earlier getting a set of tires and Eric not only went above and beyond to make sure that I had the right tires, but explained to me the danger of not changing my spare (a donut). Now I'm riding on 4 new tires plus I have a spare that I know is in good shape if I need it. I highly recommend this business! read more
