Today, the crew at the store in Brenham Texas helped us repair two tires after we had a blowout on the interstate yesterday. In particular, Jordan went the extra mile to come up the hill behind him so we could service our track in an adjacent businesses parking lot. Thankfully, they had the exact tires our camper required in stock and at a good price. They've always taken care of me and give me even more reason to think they always will. Over the past two years, I have been to this location a couple times for low tire pressure issues which worked out quite well. However, after replacing the necessary amount of air, the guy asked how old my windshield wipers were and suggested that in Brenham they recommend replacing the wiper blades every six months. That seems a bit extreme to me. Recently, my wife's car needed a tire replacement and although we did not make an appointment on a busy Saturday afternoon, we were in and out of there and slightly under two hours. read more

Turns out my tires are special and they didn't have them in stock. BUT, Trever called a couple other stores and found me some from College Station. We were hustling blown away by some unbelievable service at this Discount Tire in Brenham. We are passing through and had an issue with a shaking from a tire that couldn't wait Till we made it home to Florida. These guys rotated our tired, balanced them and plugged a bad spot on one tire. They did this all for free. I can't believe it! They were friendly, very knowledgeable and did a great job. The most surprising part is it was free. This is a Tesla and we've seen nothing but large fees and high parts costs from Tesla, we will def use Discount Ture for everything we can from now on. I was nearby and had a lower than normal indicated pressure on one of my tires and then verified it with my manual gauge. It was 7:30 am on a Saturday and this store didn't open until 8 am so I drove here and waited. They opened at 7:45 and immediately waited on me. They fixed the high pressure leak and got me on my way in 30 minutes. I have used Discount Tires for our tires for over 12 years. I knew my tires were wearing so I stopped in to have them analyzed. Jordan, the service representative, came out to meet me in the parking lot and then checked the tires with a device which indicated the need for replacement, not necessarily immediately, but soon. He discussed options with me and provided a cost comparison. I agreed to the purchase and was given a time frame for installation. A text came to allow me to track how long it would take and sure enough, they were 20+ minutes early on the estimated time. The only issue was that the service rep didn't discuss the option of the certificate of refund or replacement, a $52 per tire charge in addition to the purchase cost, it was automatically included. read more

With two kiddos and a dog in the car, didn't want to drive too far on my spare. He met me outside when I pulled in and grabbed the tire from me. I made the appointment for 8am to have 4 tires replaced, I was there on time, job finished including new wiper blades in 32 minutes from check in to check out. I have always recommended Discount Tire to all my family and friends. This is the first time that I have not been happy. I replaced my wheels on my trailer since I found out that two of them were bent. (Mental note, don't loan out trailer anymore.) The gentleman (Kameron) who was doing the job tried to install a new (Bent) rim. The same one I refused 3 days earlier. Then when he did put the correct rim on the tire, he wasn't going to balance it. I'm sorry but I always want all tires/rims balanced. i took my car to have a tire checked as my low tire pressure light came on in my vehicle. I was told a 45-minute wait, promptly received a text saying it was in line, then another text when it was moved to service bay. 30 minutes passed, then 40, then a text saying my car was ready. I went to the counter, was told a nail was moved, tire was patched. When I asked for the amount I owed I was told it was free. Keep in mind, I was not a previous customer. The employee told me repairs like mine are free. WHAT??!!! This level of customer service does not happen often. I've been a DT patron for over 30- years and utilized several locations over time. The excellent service has been consistent across all locations. Most recently, I've been using the DT in Brenham. I purchased four top of the line Michelin's for my Expedition. The price was competitive as expected. I returned today for the FREE rotation and balance and as I was walking in, I was met in the parking lot by Christian T, who took my keys and initiated service before I got in the door. They gave me an estimate on the time it would take and completed on time. This has always been my experience by the way. Since this particular service is always Free for tire customers, I always tip the service person that performs the work, $5-$10, to show appreciation for the quick and reliable service. I hope everyone will consider doing the same. I HIGHLY recommend DT and the Brenham location in particular. read more

Very helpful! I was on a fun trip from Colorado in my Shelby GT500. Got a nail in one of my tires and it was totally flat. Shelby's don't come with a spare. Big 0 fixed the flat free in about an hour while I ate complimentary Blue Bell ice cream in their waiting area. Their fix has lasted 2500 miles so far and doing fine. We got a flat tire while visiting Brenham for the weekend and desperately needed to replace it Saturday afternoon since most places are closed on Sunday. I called beforehand and they let me know that they were very busy but we could drop it off and come back to pick it up later. When we arrived, they told us they would give us a call to let us know if the tired needed to be replaced otherwise they would call us when the car was ready to be picked up after the tire was patched. We headed to Brazos Valley Brewery a couple miles away until around 4:45 pm. They had never called us to report the car ready but it was and they did patch the tire for no charge since they were purchased at discount tires. One thing that did trouble me was they handed over the keys quite trustingly without checking an ID or anything when we told them which car was ours. Ultimately, they did a great job of fixing the tire at no cost to us in an efficient amount of time. read more

I originally purchased my tires here the day after Thanksgiving 2018. Made appointment online. Had over an hour wait before they got my truck in. I came in to have my tires rotated a couple months later. Again made appointment online, this time they weren't as busy got me in and out within 30 to 45 min. Back for another rotation once again appointment online. I was five minutes late app.@ 4:30. I was told the couldn't do it because i was late and they close in 25 min. Today I'm back for my regular rotation, again. Set my appointment for 4pm. They got it in @ 4:21.another 45 mins. What's the sense of an appointment when they pretty much do a first come first serve. Its as bad as sitting around at the doctors office. They over book appointments and take walk ins. So be prepared to have a long wait. read more

She even bought 4 new tires, and, when she drove on them, she wasn't happy. So, she took her car back, the next day, and the manager changed all the tires to a different tire. Took my car here on a Friday to get my flat tire replaced and left the car there since i had to get to work. Picked it up and noticed the tire pressure said "26" and figured just like in the past i had to drive a little to let it reset (i drive 5 minutes a day) on Monday i realized the pressure just still wasn't right so i asked my husband to take it up there and figure it out.... THEY CHANGED THE WRONG TIRE!!! And refused to make it right, not even a discount! I get mistakes happen but to do absolutely nothing when your men made a mistake just blows my mind. To top it off when you turn my car on it tells you on the screen EXACTLY which tire is flat it's lit up in orange! They filled up all the tires with air which i assume they check the pressure before doing that and to see one tire only has 11psi and to just ignore it and no red flags go up just goes to show the sheer incompetence of the people working at this location. read more
