I got here at 1:30pm. There was 1 vehicle in front of mine that was almost done and I was told it'd be 30-45 minutes and I'd be done. The time is now 3:15pm and the slow mechanic working on my truck STILL isn't done!!! My truck is still up on the rack. He's walking around as if he's getting paid hourly and milking the clock. Got inspection done quickly 7am. They do brake check for $25 and noticed my pads were low and gave me mm measurement. Replaced both for about $150 total. Got in there 2nd on Saturday and done in less than an hour, 1-2 hours including brake check. Thalia is great to work with and Thomas helped with inspection. read more

The name is "quick lane". Been here for more than an hour and a half for an inspection and oil change. Still waiting. After having to go buy the oil from a supply house now they come out and tell me they have to send out for the filter. Apparently it was a surprise that they would also need a filter. I got "The Works", which is basically a $39 oil change, tire rotation and inspection with a hidden $35 in fees attached to it. Right out of the parking lot, the hood flew up in my face from them not closing it properly, and when I got out to close it I saw that the washer fluid cap was wide open. Fast forward 2 weeks, and my car grinds to a stop because my brake caliper shifted down and dug a trench in my rim. This might not be their fault, since they weren't supposed to touch the brakes. HOWEVER when I tried to take the wheel off to fix it, the nuts were so overtightened that me, my dad and a friendly cop ended up cracking 2 different lug wrenches and stripping the nut bare trying to get it off (which we didn't.) Assuming the other wheels were as bad, repairing their crappy job would cost more in lug wrenches than the service charged in the first place. Waste of time, waste of money. Lance went the 'extra mile' when I came in while on a road trip. My brakes were really bad and he took a lot of time locating the correct pads and rotors and getting them on my car. They also had a shuttle for my 80-year-old mom and I so we could go eat lunch while they fixed them. I used to have major anxiety having my oil changed at other places. I have never felt pressured or made to feel like I do not know what they are talking about at Quick Lane. I have always had quick service and was told upfront if the wait was longer than usual. I have used Quick Lane for 4 years now and make sure my car serviced faithfully. You are always given options to fix things before they work on them and never pressured to do so if you choose not to. As a woman, it can be intimidating to deal with other places. This is the best place in town. There is table and books to entertain children, tv to watch, vending machines, and coffee offered. Comfortable chairs for waiting and even outlets for charging are other amenities. read more

So I called Quick Lane in Brenham, TX to setup an appointment to get my transmission flushed and the filter changed. My car is a Volkswagen so I figured I would give them a call because I knew the filter would probably have to be ordered. The lady who answered the phone said they do transmission flushes and no appointment was necessary. That is when I let her know that I worked out of town and needed to make sure all the parts would be correctly ordered in time because it was a Volkswagen and Saturday is the only day I could drop my car off to get worked on. Then she informed me that they probably don't have the filter in stock and she would have to find and order one. Then she said I should go to the dealer and have them service my car. She did not even try to help me. Very unprofessional and lazy. So I checked online for a filter kit at O'Reilly Auto Parts and they would have to order it and it could be there in 24 hours. That took me a whole 3 minutes to find out. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will discourage anyone I know to avoid this place. I will never take either one of my vehicles there again. read more

Each time I come in I ask myself "why did I return?" Stopped in for an Oil Change, Fuel Filter Change, and have transmission serviced. After my 1 1/2 hr wait. Oil was changed, Fuel Filter changed, and air filter changed instead of servicing transmission. No one mentioned air filter they just did it. When asking about trans was simply told "we didn't do it". In addition to not servicing the trans the fuel filter leaked severely. Had to go straight back an WAIT again. One other annoyance - non of the service reminders were reset on the instrument panel. Prob ok for an oil change and obviously air filter BUT would not call it "service". read more

Absolutely the most crooked and inept place to have any repairs done. We did not get a rebate for purchasing four tires because the tires were entered on separate invoices which we questioned at the time and were told it wouldn't be a problem. When we had a flat we discovered that our spare tire hanger under the truck was replaced incorrectly and stripped. We were unable to remove the spare without taking it to another shop and the replacement cost for the spare hanger was $250. The technicians have broken lug nuts during tire rotations and forced us to pay for replacements which were used and not the right size. When we complained the front desk stared back lazily and rolled her eyes and told us to talk to the manager. When we talked to the manager he wanted us to schedule an appointment with someone at the dealership next door. Who has time to deal with such absolute incompetence? Don't use this place unless you want to be lied to and taken advantage of while waiting for hours. read more
