Although I did not get any services at this shop they were honest with me about what they could and couldn't do, they did give me some recommendations of what to do and where to start and some estimates if I didn't to go with them. They also gave me a note for my employer in regards to the condition of my car! They seem like a very reputable place, if I need services in the future that they can accommodate I would definitely consider going to their shop. The workers were very pleasant, knowledgeable and didn't make me feel awkward in any way! They were very transparent and nice and that's really hard to find in a mechanic shop nowadays ESPECIALLY as a woman so I thank them for their kindness, straight-forward advice and pleasantries.

They are a little lite on the counter which runs into some communication lapse occasionally but I want my car worked on well, not quick and rushed. One location had a 2-2.5 hour wait and another had a 1hr or so wait. I called Battleground Tire first before coming by and was told they could squeeze me in, which was awesome. I was told it would be $25. Battleground Tire is located on the corner of pisgah church and battleground. There is a sign that says Nappa Auto center which definitely confused me. However, it does say Battleground Tire on the building itself. Inside, Anthony assisted me. He definitely had a sense of humor, which was nice. I had to give typically name, address, and car info to check in and get work done. They have complimentary WiFi which I didn't use. My car was done at 4:55pm, which so much better than the time I would've spent at discount tire. I learned that Anthony was the owner. He was extremely friendly and personable. Throughout my interactions from check in and check out, he initiated conversation. He mentioned wanted to get to know his customers, which is very admirable.

Recently I took my car to TT and I received a call from Billy at TT and was told that May car needed to have the Master Cylinder replaced and the cost was $1000.00. Several mechanics said that it should take an experience technician around 1 to 2 hours and I do understand that there will be cost for break fluids but $1000.00 for this repair? Great communication, fair prices, and honest about issues. I've taken my car here twice and both…read moretimes they've done a great job. The first story doesn't make me look great, but I'll tell it like it happened. Story one: The first time I took my car there, my car was having chronic issues with the battery dying (in spite of AAA giving me a perfect battery check multiple times). A pseudo-mechanic friend messed around with it on the weekend, but concluded that my vehicle needed professional help. I dropped off my car on a busy weekday morning without an appointment. They were absolutely packed, but were willing to take my vehicle and try to diagnose the issue. They ran diagnostics and tested it in different ways over the course of a couple days, but weren't able to find any issues. My leading hypothesis is that my friend must have knocked something loose back into place. In any event, when I picked up the car, all they charged me for was the oil change. They could have EASILY charged me a ton for all the trouble my non-broken car gave them, but took the honest and transparent route. My car worked just find after I got it. Story two: During my first trip to Beroth, they identified that I had brake issues. My brakes should have still been under warranty under NTB and I told them I was going to try to see if the warranty would pay for it. I took my vehicle to NTB and they tried to charge me an exorbitant sum to replace damage due to a "failed part" (that I they installed.. that was under warranty...). In any event, I took my car into Beroth and they took care of my problem. They were able to charge me half of what NTB wanted to charge me, and did slightly less work (since some of what NTB recommended wasn't necessary). My brakes have been much better since the work they did. Overall, I'd recommend Beroth based on the two times they serviced my car. They had every opportunity to price gouge me, and they didn't. They were personable and took good care of my vehicle.
