My husband and I have gone to discount tire for years! Some days the service was better than other, of course like with all businesses.. but today they were exceptional. We had an appointment at 9AM, we left our car there and went home to wait and not even 20 minutes later we got the phone call that it was done and ready to be picked up! They were so fast it was great! The staff was super friendly and informative to whatever questions we had, we will definitely continue to get our tires from them! read more

A nail got into one of my tires and the tire was losing pressure slowly. It was a sat afternoon and I looked for places nearby that were open. I went into discount tire because of good reviews, and they didn't disappoint me. Mike, the manager, was able to book me in for that afternoon. He also checked the pressure and tread of all my tires to make sure they were okey. The mechanic then fixed the tire within an hour and it was free!!! I was so ready to pay for a new tire, but they said it was not necessary and a repair will do the job. I came there as usual to swapping out the summer tire out and put my winter tires on. Like every year I come to this store but this time they changed me 200 bucks!!!!! And my car is just a suv not some super car. This is not right!!! I changed swap my sports car tire there before only cost me 90 bucks. I do not why they change me 200 bucks !!! I cannot review their actual service, since we were unable to obtain it. My daughter, who is away at college, had a flat tire and badly needed four new tires, and quickly. We don't live in the same state. I chose Discount Tire because of the great reviews. They also have a website that states you can purchase your tires and schedule an appointment through the site. That sounded like just what we needed since I was going to be buying the tires. I chose the tires, reviewed my purchase with all taxes and charges, then went through the final stage, the appointment scheduling process. I had my credit card in my hand, ready to pay, when I clicked the Submit button for the order. However, I instead found that payment cannot be made on the website; you cannot actually purchase tires on their site, you can only "order" the tires. So what we had at that point was a set of tires on order that I wasn't able to pay for and an appointment scheduled for my daughter the next day at 4 p.m. Not much to be done about it at that point, so we printed out the confirmation of the tires ordered and the appointment date/time. When my daughter arrived at Discount Tire for her scheduled appointment, she was told they had no record of the appointment. She was told that their website hadn't been working for about a week (yet was apparently left up and running with no notice that it isn't working). However, it worked well enough to give all the prompts for a purchase, an appointment scheduler, and a confirmation! To continue the Comedy of Errors, they then told my daughter that, in addition to not being able to pay on the website, they would not accept my credit card, even with me on the phone, nor was there any other form of payment they would accept other than her paying at the desk. I would not have a problem with this at all if there weren't so many misleading things that led up to this point. In the end, that works out great for us because we have already wasted enough time trying to do business with Discount Tire. read more

Went there about 6 months ago to get a replacement tire on a second vehicle. It's never kept air from day one! Finally got it replaced some where else. They also did not rotate my tires per my directions. I guess anyone could have some crappy inventory but with so many other options these days they will never see my business again. Who has time today to keep taking screw ups back to get them fixed. read more

I've purchased two sets of tires from these guys and they are the best. I've also had to replace a single tire (via their road hazard warranty) and was very pleased with how much they credited me based on remaining tread. I've also had them mount old tires onto new wheels. Service is EXCEPTIONAL (service desk and techs) and price is extremely competitive. I've never had any problem with a scuffed wheels when taking my cars to this place (as I have at other places). I also appreciate the free rotations. This is one place I'd keep going back to for my tire needs even if the price was 10% more than the competition. read more

The people at discount tire had beat my rims. Scratched and dented all around the hub. I understand trying to hurry but to cause $1000 in damage to my rims is not exceptable. I will right another review if they take care of me. We will see stay tuned. read more

I ordered new tires and rims for my truck and was told they would be there in about a week. Two weeks later I still had not herd from them so I called in. My wheels and tires were in they just forgot to call to let me know. I went ahead and made an appointment to have them installed on my lunch break the following Monday which was to take about forty five minutes. When I got there my appointment was never put in the computer and they had no record of my wheels being in stock. After searching their inventory for half an hour they finally found my tires. Another fifteen minutes went by while they reentered everything back into the computer for my order. They finally checked my truck in to have the wheels installed. Then they informed me that it would be at least two hours because they put me at the back of the line and they were not sure if they could be installed anyway because they didn't have any sensors in stock and they are not sure when they will be in. I wasn't about to miss work when they probably couldn't install them anyway. They are suppose to let me know when the sensors arrive. Lets see if I actually get a call when they can install my tires. Well the sensors didn't come in that day when I called to check, but they decided that they could save the sensors that were in my old tires. I went in to have them installed. It was suppose to be about an hour and a half. Three hours later they were done. I went out to find that they had ordered the wrong style of rim and the wrong size of tire. One of the managers recommended that I try to make it home on those tires anyway, even though I couldn't turn the wheel. Then I could life the truck and take off the side steps to accommodate the new tires. I told them that wasn't going to happen and they needed to put my old tires back on and order the right ones. Two weeks later the new tires and rims finally came in. There was a huge price difference between the new ones and the ones that they originally ordered. Discount tire covered the difference since it was there mistake and threw in a free set of sensors so that they could be mounted and balanced before I arrived for the install. This time the install only took thirty minutes and everything turned out great. Long story short Discount tire does have good competitive prices and will do everything they can to make you happy. It may just take a few tries on custom jobs that they don't deal with on a daily basis. read more
