We made it inside the store. 12 parties in the store. 4 of the 12 being helped. Dalton soon approached us. Some chat with my husband. Told us the car would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. I used the facilities. Restroom clean. Husband in the car 8:22 AM. I was in the car 8:23 AM. I don't know how they did it but they were efficient. I had a tire sensor that came on 1 day after filling my tire up - easily made an appointment for today - they were busy but took me on time - they quickly assessed that I had a screw in the tire and fixed it in no time at all!!! The customer service here was exceptional. We reserved and bought our tires online. When we arrive it was very busy but the front staff greeted everyone when they walked in. If no one was available he would let them know someone would be with them shortly. Little things such as that go a long way when it comes to customer service. We ended up getting all 4 tires replaced. Overall we waited about 2 hours and then were on our way. The place was clean and the service was great. I warned my husband not to come here because they damaged my neighbors wheel (I found out about this afterward) and I had an expensive vehicle I replaced all 4 tires and they damaged my wheel also. Both me and neighbor they insisted on repair which didn't repair and I had to get corporate involved in order to get a new replacement from the manufacturer not a KNOCK off.... Now my husband went because they had 2 used like new tires there for his Bronco... I warned him not to go he went anyway, took it back to get them to clean the white goop all over today which I adamantly told him was unprofessional and was a way not to reveal any damage they caused and sure enough they damaged TWO of his Bronco wheels because they didn't place a plastic covering properly when putting the tire on... they are doing the right thing supposedly and getting him new wheels because of what we went through but that is not stopping me from reporting this to corporate again! I'm so freaking dissapointed- why could he not have had the used tires transferred to humble? We have NEVER in 26 years had issues of damage from Humble location!!! And to add to another reviewer appointments mean nothing here and my husband had to wait a VERY long time for his vehicle to be serviced after his appointment time. See photos- two wheels pin stripe damage around and 3rd wheel damage that was missed and will be reported. And they had his end cap for one wheel on the ground faces down and it got stepped on and damaged so add that to the list of what they are replacing. You are taking a chance coming to this location... years later and they are still damaging wheels!!!! OEM or the exact wheel you had is the ONLY acceptable option- don't allow them to repair, they can't be repaired and will come back still seeing damage not to mention they went knock off and a refurbished wheel was sent to replace - and it was damaged upon receipt... so got corporate involved to assure the OEM wheels the exact kind I had were purchased from manufacture. 4 weeks ago they replaced 3 of my tire sensors. Did all the upselling, told them no thanks. Really pressed trying to get me to replace my wiper blades. They told me "they're really worn, you won't be able to see!" I had just replaced my wiper blades 3 weeks previous. Their upselling tactics consistently piss me off and they're far worse when I go vs when my husband goes. This morning we went in to replace the 4th tire sensor. I had asked if they would replace the 4th last time since, odds are, the 4th was close to needing replacement. Nope. Sure as shoot, less than 3 weeks later, the sensor goes out. Schedule an appointment to go, and they refuse to work on my the sensor because I won't also replace all of my tires. We subject the vehicle to regular maintenance. the tires do not need to be replaced yet. I'm just trying to get the sensor replaced, inspect and register my car. The tires are not in the budget today. They refused easy work because we wouldn't upgrade. For additional reference, I have driven my vehicle less than 100 miles since the 3 sensors were replaced on tires that "will need to be replaced in the next thousand or so miles" and 100 miles later are "non-serviceable." We Have NEVER been fully satisfied with how Discount treats us. The constant attempts to upsell with things they were completely wrong about but we understand they are probably told to make us fear our cars will implode if we don't do what they recommend. we put up with it because of the tire warranty programs. There is zero customer service there and they just lost customers of over a decade for life. read more

Honesty. I don't appreciate being lied to just to get a sale. I worked in sales and honesty will get you further than deception. I was told my car would not pass inspection based on the life of my tires (it did). On a different visit I was told my tire couldn't be patched and needed to buy a new one (took it to tirelink about a mile away from them and they fixed the tire that was not fixable). That's twice you turned me away because I refused to spend money on a new tire. The dude didn't even ask questions to figure out if I could even afford a new tire. Just lied to me and immediately went into sales mode. That's not good business and I was never return. read more

This is by far the worst location! Everytime I come here to get my air check I get ignored and I have to wait for someone to come check my air. The company seems to be faceless, disconnected from true customer service. I can see now what is bottom line: disregard the scheduled, service appointments and get the customers that are buying new tires taken care of...especially the walk-ins. I got in my wife's Tahoe this morning and discovered a low tire light and the passenger rear tire was visibly low. I added some air knowing I'd get it done after work. This location has always been a hidden gem and extremely well managed. It's the Chick-Fil-A of tires shops. Everyone works hard and with extreme courteousy. They apologized for the 7 cars ahead of mine and estimated 1-1/2 hours till mine got in the shop. In less than an hour they pulled it in. Under promise/over deliver. They consistently exceed my expectations. The had me rolling sooner than expected. This is about my 6th or 7th visit here with 3 cars and a camper. I should have reviewed before now! read more

I called early in the morning around 9am and explained what I needed talked to JASON W at the Porter Tx discount tire. Long story short he made me wait ALL DAYY on two tires that he ordered from the beginning. Not even update me or nothing I'm just waiting on a phone call from them . My wife had to call twice to see what was the issue and came here and was told it was gonna be here after 6pm. And I'm still currently here waiting on the tire man to deliver my TWO tires I been waiting for 8 hrs. If you want your time wasted come here. read more

Another great experience here in Porter. Was enroute close to closing but needed air pressure. I called the store, the person who answered - Anthony - advised me to come anyway - despite the unpredictable Northpark Dr traffic headed towards 494. Got there, ran into Travis outside. Asked him about tire pressure, he had the same service attitude as the person I spoke with. Backed my truck in, got me aired up, and we started speaking about my damaged lug nuts. I asked what it would run to replace them. I also told him they replaced my wheel locks not too long ago as well. He had my lugs in stock, offered me a discount since I didn't need all 20, and got me in and out in about ten minutes. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff here. My usual rep is Reagan, but when he hasn't been here, every single person is just as awesome. They truly offer that white glove service, all the way up to closing and beyond (I got there 10 min after 6p btw). I'm an HR leader by profession. Experiencing first hand, the culture, environment, the positivity amongst all employees, the consistency in quality as well as service - the leadership over this location is getting it done and doing it right. I always come to discount tire for any issues with my tires especially when the air quality drops and are need of air but today wasn't the case, as I pulled up to get a quick air in the tires , there was a truck just parked there , I get no heads up on why , no customer service on what's going on, NOTHING, which I didn't like . As I continued to wait for any assistance Putting air in tires never took this long it was rude, and even more rude when I got told nothing but to move my vehicle out of the way. Another man named Jared I believe was his name walked up to my vehicle and calmly talked to me and respectfully let me know what was going on unlike the other gentleman that was there with the customer with the truck. I didn't appreciate the service I got today but will be coming back because I am truly grateful for these young men helping with my vehicle. Simply amazing service. I stopped by on a Saturday after having an amazing experience with the folks at Discount Tire in Indianapolis. I knew drive up customers are taken in order intermixed with other people who had appointments. So I chatted with the front desk person and made an appointment for the following Tuesday. When I arrived for my appointment, the front desk staff came out, examined the tires, and determined their tread and age were okay. They won't fix a dangerous tire. I explained the history in Indy, and that one of the other tires may have a slow leak. I also mentioned that there was a shimmy in the steering at a particular speed. He said the car would be brought in shortly. After a few minutes, they took the car in and the tech checked the tires. As opposed to the other two that were fixed in Indy, the remaining 2 tires checked out okay. He took the tires in, removed them form the hub, cleaned the hub's edge, then remounted and balanced the tires. The shimmy in my steering was gone. It must have been an unbalanced tire. It must have thrown one of its balancing weights. The car is perfect again. Thanks to the team at Discount Tires! You've won a customer for life. read more

This store forgot to install the hubrings on a set of aftermarket wheels that I purchased from them. After I found out what the issue was causing a lot of vibration on my car and after stopping at 4 other discount tire locations the issue was never found. Finally took it to my mechanic and had some brake work done and a control arm replacement he noticed the wheels didn't have centric rings hubrings. This was found after 3000 miles from having the wheels installed. Went back to the store and had them installed and they didn't even apologize for the mistake. They put my in at risk driving like that. The lugs nuts could break and cause an accident It also has worn out my tires and they said they are not responsible. I will no longer go to any discount tire. From now on tire rack it is and going to a tire shop for install. PEOPLE AVOID DISCOUNT TIRE THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY read more

Don't bother coming to this discount such a horrible experience they try and upsell everyone on just about anything possible and also skip you in line and make you wait hours if you're not getting more than a couple tires replaced. If you value your time do not come here as all they do is waste it for no apparent reason other than for them to make more money by getting bigger orders in before yours. Also make sure they install the correct tires you paid for as I had to come another day for them to replace it and took about the same time again for them to not get the tires correct. Once again this is a horrible experience by far from any discount tire I've been to and previous reviews of this place mention the same thing. There was no miscommunication of any sort so please STAY AWAY from this discount tire by any means necessary. They can't even apologize for their wrongdoing and it's sad. Ruined my Jeep. Went in for tire balance and rotate because I had a very very slight shaking of the wheel at like 80mph. After they "worked" on the Jeep I took it of the lot and nearly lost control at 40mph from a very severe death wobble I have never experienced in my Jeep. Took it back, they looked at it, say it's good, same thing happened. Took it back again, same thing happened. Had to drive home under 30mph with hazards on and go to a different shop. Was suppose to sell car this week. Not happening anymore. I wish I could go back and never have gone. read more

If I could leave negative 5 Stars I would! Do not use Discount Tire In Porter. They left my lug nuts loose on not just one tire but 2 and me and my family (I was pregnant and I had my 3 year old daughter) were going to Waco. We thought the truck felt weird and luckily made it half way there where my mother-in-law could come get us, and had the truck towed to a shop to get looked at and they told us the lug nuts weren't even hand tight! With that happening it messed up so much stuff on the truck and we had to get a rental to drive and leave my truck in Waco for 2 weeks for us to have to go pick back up. We called discount tire in Porter and told them everything and they said that never happens they were sorry and gave us a refund on the tires balance and rotate that we paid and we'd get it done free any time we brought the truck in. Discount tire also wouldn't pay to fix anything that they messed up on the truck so we spent even more to fix the truck that was in perfect condition before they ever touched it. We finally got the guts to take it up there again and when I took it in 1 of the tire pressure lights were on when they got done all 4 were on because they "fixed it". I took it back one last yesterday and got told I was wrong with everything that has happened including when we almost got into a wreck and could have lost a tire on our way to Waco. I fina got it all straightened out and they got me in and all I asked before I left while they were putting caps on was if they tightened the lug nuts and torqued them good to what they were supposed to be he said yes and I said ok all the caps are on good too right? (Just making sure!!) Well 1 wasn't put back on so now Monday morning I will be there to get it fixed. read more

The gentleman at discount tire always take care of their customers. Especially this one,, I came in to get a simple nail taken out and patched. I didn't have the key lock so they had to break the lug nuts, they charge to break them, replace them, and for your new key lock. All together for one tire it should have been about $35 if I'm not mistaken but they only charged me $5 for the key lock!! Never expected any kind of discount on their set price. I don't appreciate Darren selling me the most expensive tire. He didn't even show me the prices on the screen of any options I had. I get it, your a sales person, I'm driving a benz & I'm a woman at that. They automatically think you're ignorant. My car settings was also played with, my alarm was turned off. My tire pressure also dropped from 47 to 32 from yesterday to today. I went to a closer location to me & they actually showed me everything & educated me.
