They are careful not to waste your time and money. They fix what is needed. They do the job right the first time and don't upsell! The 3 things they fixed on my car were all sins committed by other shops and dealers. G&S fixed it for 1/4 the price the dealer wanted just to look at it. It was a bunch of annoying noises that worried me. When G&S looked at it, they found that another local shop failed to reattach a shock absorber during a prior repair! Yikes. G&S did so well on my car that I asked if they could send a mechanic out to replace a couple of dead batteries in my RV. OMG ... They do local emergency road service too! The dead batteries in my RV were caused by a Cummins shop certified in motorhomes. During that repair, the Cummins shop failed to turn off the battery cut offs. I called to remind them. I wrote a note on the work order. Despite being told exactly what to do, they repeatedly failed to turn them off everyday over 7 days. If you take a battery to 0V too many times, it's a paperweight. G&S came out and replaced dead batteries in my RV and they were 30% less than the next nearest mechanic! Both vehicles are running fantastic! Okay ... I cannot say enough good things about these folks. Honestly, bringing my cars to G&S is the first time I felt a Texas auto shop was straight with me.

First it was a nail, then it was a metal stick, the third time was a screw... (((Initially, I went to a big tire store to see what they could do for me. They wanted to replace the tires right away; all four tires. They don't patch or plug them; the only good, reasonable and helpful thing they did was air up my tire for free to hold me over until I got to Mario & Sons. Big tire shops are a rip off))) The first time, I had two punctured tires and my car had only 18k miles. I kept getting a low pressure warning on my dash board, and I just kept adding air until that didn't work anymore. They checked for air leaks and only one puncture was leaking air and could be patched. He removed the tire and patched it up. The non leaking puncture was in a place that could not be fixed, I told them to leave it in as long as it wasn't causing any problems. I was out of there in 20 mins and paid like $10. This second time around, I woke up to a flat tire. My car had 21k miles; we added air and went to Mario's to get it checked out. It was the same tire that was patched last time, so I thought IT was leaking; it wasn't, it was a screw. They pulled it out, smoothed it out, and added a plug. Again, it took like 20 mins, in and out, and I paid $10. Each tire costs upwards of $150 depending where I go. And I would have had to replace 4 tires by now. Two the first time and two this time, so they are even and balanced. I can't say enough about this tire shop. They are very honest, helpful, and the service is fast (as long as there's not a lot of customers before you). I will definitely be coming here for quick fixes.

Liars!! overcharging and manipulating paperwork to fit their overall goal.  The gm Nick told me…read morethey can only find dealer parts for suspension "issue".-not true. After speaking with him and asking why did he lie ( after receiving my deposit)he responded they don't use cheap parts, but he did not say that "they only use " he said we can only find dealer parts. I gave them half because I believed him, it was quoted $2200 just to replace  struts  on a 2013 foreign vehicle, the guy NiCK is NOT trustworthy, he plays with words to get what he wants. How could I trust them to work on my vehicle? They then charged us another $600 to pick up the parts totaling $1800 for parts below. After the lie I called the following day (Saturday last week) they will not refund anything -store credit is what I was told. This is even if you cannot use the dealer parts they purchased as they are the wrong parts!! I will be contacting the office of attorney General and the BBB about this.
