I Have been seeing Dr. Clark for a few months now after I re-injured my hip from a water skiing accident this past summer. I was doing okay and then I took a fall that undid all my progress. I found this office via reviews like this one and thought I had nothing to lose. I was basically limping and in a lot of pain upon my 1st visit. I saw Dr. Clark for the first few weeks about 3x's a week to get hip, neck, and spinal adjustments. Now I'm down to just a 1x per week or 2 and am feeling great. I had to update my review because Dr. Clark really is a miracle worker. I hadn't seen him since having my second baby back in September. I thought I was doing alright until about 2 months ago I was picking my toddler up out of the bathtub and suddenly felt extreme pain in my lower back. I couldn't move, sit down, or lay down comfortably. I thought stretching might help, but that was even more painful. Any slight movement sent pain up my back. I went to see Dr. Clark and within just a few weeks, I felt a thousand times better. I've been able to travel for work and sit comfortably in a car for over an hour. My first time here was due to a friend deciding she hasn't been going in a while and felt a need... I tagged along. Outside it's just a place in a little shopping strip but when you enter it's quiet and surprisingly peaceful. While he adjusted my friend, Dr. Clark was kind of enough to allow me to try out the "machine" and well I got stretched out in areas I've never felt pain in. In noticing I was aching I decided ok, I'll give it a try and of course I've never been to a chiropractor and I've always had the same notion as those who don't usually go, back may get injured or it's just something a Dr. will get you to go see them and keep you coming back. Well here I didn't feel the pressure to seek treatment, my trusted friend swears by him, and so I decided to give it a shot. I will say my first few adjustments have made me feel like I was coming down with something the next morning, much like you would after a massage, but as my day goes on I'm fine and the more that feeling goes away. I still have a ways to go but I'm very happy with Dr. Clark. I find him to be open and willing to work with you. He's gentle and will explain everything you want or need to know and he doesn't pressure you into anything that you aren't comfortable doing. The entire appointment may last about 10 min. You are in and out... Downsides are probably trying to get out if you need to make a left turn and possibly parking. read more

If you need a great chiropractor, "Dr. Mac" - John McClelland - a new chiropractor at Discover Chiropractic is fantastic! I think of him more like my primary care doctor because I can ask anything about nutrition, fitness and all my weird aches and pains and he always has a wealth of helpful information to share. With 12 vertebrae fused from T6 to L4 and rods in my back, I am not someone who can just come in for a quick adjustment. He has to get very creative! He employs many different therapies including acupuncture which he has 10 years experience in both Eastern and Western techniques. He always advises me on self-care which is half the battle for someone with chronic pain issues. Oh! And affordable YES - and they take most insurance AND have a massage therapist on staff so you can see both in one appt for about $50. I pay $20 with insurance (without the massage). Plus, he is funny as hell! Laughter is always great medicine ;-). Dr. Mac has truly become a friend and mentor and I highly recommend him. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Brian Clark's chiropractic care at Discover Chiropractic. After receiving treatment for post-accident trauma from another chiropractor with very little relief, I came to Dr. Clark for x-rays. He did a relief adjustment that day. The following day I could sense less tension in my upper back. Upon my return visit he provided a comprehensive assessment of my injury and a course of treatment for my recovery. I have been in his care for 3 months, and I have gained some freedom of movement. I have been able to return to dancing with only minor discomfort. 3 months ago I didn't believe this was possible. His holistic approach to healing the body is very focused, effective, and yet gentle. He is even great with children. If you have a child that spends a regular amount of time on the computer, it might be a good idea to bring them in for a visit.
