TLDR: don't even think twice, just come here and you'll walk out a new person!! Alexa, what is pain? I was referred here after not one but TWO car accidents that completely left not only my car but also my body destroyed. I've been receiving treatments for 4 months now starting in March (basically beginning of the pandemic) and started on an acute treatment plan where I came in twice a week for a bit and then it became once a week. All I can say is that Sam is a miracle worker!! I went from being sore and constantly feeling discomfort in my hips, back, shoulders, with pain in my left arm and right leg, (I wasn't kidding when I said body was destroyed) to being able to sleep soundly through the night without waking up multiple times from pain or being uncomfortable. First appointment was great. I had a wrist issue looked at during my first visit. The low rating here is reflected by the poor experience I received scheduling for my follow-up appointment. Follow-up appointment was supposed to be the next Tuesday at 8:20 am. I called the day before to confirm my appointment and ask if the doctor had time to look at something else for me that I didn't mention in my initial consulting. Receptionist confirmed we were good to go and that the doctor should have some extra time if need be (with an extra cost which I was okay with). At this time, someone from the office should have told me that the doctor will not be in the office the next day. Instead, I got a call at 7:45 am the morning of the appointment letting me know that the doctor is no longer coming in and they have no one to schedule me with the rest of the week. I was nearly an hour out from my appointment when you decide to tell me my appointment is cancelled. That's quite unprofessional. Ironically, there is a "$50 fee when Next Level has not been given a 24-hour notice of the cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment". How do you expect patient's to follow this when the office can't even hold their promise at a scheduled time? As you can tell, I'm really baffled this happened to me this morning. I used to work at health professional office and this only happens when either: 1) Front desk botched the scheduling. 2) Doctor didn't feel like coming in today. (e.g. not enough patients for the day, maybe an emergency, who really knows?) The extra kick to my face was the lack of empathy shown over the phone that I wasn't going to see the doctor. You got to understand, most of your patients are coming in because they are in pain. When you tell us "There is no appointment until next week". We hear "I have to deal with this pain somehow until next week". Please be a bit more understanding over the phone, especially when the patient is not at fault here. Having said all that,I really wanted to like this place, but experiences like these put a real deterrence on people from returning. read more

Dang. Never have I had ONE session where I walked in with serious pain- and after a few days I was 90% pain FREE. That, to me, is worth any cost. Dr. John is super friendly and has given me really straightforward and honest treatment- and y'all I won't lie- my dry needling sessions were super intense- but I'll take that in a heartbeat to be able to feel totally better in a few days' time!! As a yoga instructor and athlete it's also really helpful to find out what workouts I can continue doing without feeling like I am completely out of commission. I have to be honest, I was super intimidated the first time I came to Next Level. I'm in the wellness industry myself to help other people like me, queer weirdos that feel outside of physical culture. On my first visit, I felt insecure about my leg hair in the first time in years, but that was ALL ME and THEY FIXED ME so I just kept going back. Only disappointing thing about NL is that they fixed my problems so quickly, I need to come up with an excuse to go in just to catch up with the crew! Maybe I should fake an injury?? I like to joke that Next Level is for elite athletes, cross-fitters, and me. I have had nagging back issues for 2 decades. I also had an elbow/nerve issue that seriously affected my golf game. A cross-fit buddy said I needed to try Sam Sneed and crew out. I went in expecting basic chiropractic. I left with an entirely new appreciation of healing. These guys are awesome! I've had a hip injury from collegiate Rugby (4 years old) they were able to diagnose quickly with a relative rehab plan that worked. My sole purpose: to run again. It's the only reason I came here. I didn't expect to get diagnosed, but that's the first thing Dr. Steven Reinlie wanted to figure out: how I managed to get plantar fasciitis. I'd been two other places for my pf since boycotting running two months prior, neither of which addressed the issue of why. But, the why issue was Dr. Reinlie's first priority. It didn't take him long to figure out that my right leg (problem foot) was half as flexible and rotatable as my left leg. Dr. Reinlie made sure I understood how my body worked, and why I (probably) ended up with a bum foot. Now, I go twice a week (till mended) for Dr. R to hammer (not really) into my foot (note to self: stretch more next time I'm marathon training). Ryan, a degree in Kinesiology, shows me my homework (exercises I must do if I want to run again). Liz (ultrasound) and Emily (front desk) are happy faces at 7 am. You've just won....A BRAND NEW BACK!!!!! That's literally what it feels like after my 3rd session with Dr. Steven Reinlie. This is definitely not your typical Chiropractic experience. In fact my back adjustment generally takes about 20 seconds of the 30 minute to an hour appointment. These guys are not focused on treating symptoms to create a customer for life scenario. They do a great deal of observation to identify the problem, and then focus on a regimen of stretching, exercises, and adjustment to address the underlying condition. If you are afraid to try chiropractic treatment, this is a great place to give it a try. Dr. Reinlie is incredibly personable and has a great benchside manner, and even though some of the stretches are "challenging" I've gotten to where I look forward to it, because I know what's waiting on the other side of it. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with smiles and positivity, and Dr. Reinlie's staff (Emily and Alex) are an absolute pleasure. I am a dancer. Being a dancer means my body is not a stranger to injuries, or doctors. With the right treatment team, recovery from injuries can be quicker, and most importantly make you stronger. I have worked with many rehabilitation teams in my life, but nothing quite like the team at Next Level. When an old injury flared up shortly after moving to Austin, I immediately started searching for a doctor specializing in treating athletes and sports injuries. Google told me go visit Sam and Steven at Next Level. I was intrigued by the combination of Chiropractic and Physical Therapy techniques utilized here. When I arrived for my first appointment I was warmly welcomed, and immediately felt at ease. I waited in the lobby (free coffee and waters for those waiting). I noticed that many of the clients coming in were welcomed by name, and everyone seemed to know each other (even the patients). I was in a lot of pain when Steven first saw me. He listened patiently, but most importantly, he watched my movement mobility (or the lack there of). He quickly was able to assess my situation and explained it in a way that was easy to understand. He proposed some treatment options, and I never felt pressured to "purchase" or "upgrade" anything. They are sensitive to the fact that they don't accept health insurance here, and many insurances don't reimburse for treatment. After the initial visit, each follow up is about $75. After seeing Steven a couple of times, I was pain free, and moving better than before. He also helped me retrain my body to move in the "right" way as to avoid future reoccurrence of the problem. After each visit, Alex would give me several exercises to do, and ensure that I am doing them correctly, then have me take them home as homework. The clinic also has a rehabilitation gym in the back that is run by Ryan the trainer. As a patient with Steven upfront, you begin to wonder what is going on at the back of the house. At the end of my treatment series, I was ready to get back to the gym. It was perfect timing, because Ryan was starting up his first 6 week group "Booty" class. The class built on the exercises I had already started with Alex. Once you start, you cannot stop. Ryan is the best trainer I have worked with. After the course, I signed up to participate in Ryan's drop in group sessions. He has different package offerings. He puts together an individual exercise program that fits your needs, and in a group of no more than 5 oversees your workout sessions. Each person is working on their own thing, but all at the same time. It's pretty awesome. Everyone is there for different reasons, with different goals, and very encouraging of each other. I look forward to my workout days now. It's not just going to the gym, it's also when I get to go hang out with my Next Level Family. It's common to find a group of us out on a weekend fitness field trip, or enjoying a pot luck at someone's house. I have never felt so fit and strong. As a competitive CrossFitter, my motto this year has been to "win everything." When a painful knee tracking problem developed, I went straight to Next Level to get it taken care of before competition season. My knee has continued to feel better and better. My best marks in the squats have continued to improve and I have gotten 1st place in all three events I have competed in so far. Sam and Dave and Stephen are not just great body workers, but they are fun people! I have been a patient of Next Level Chiro and Rehab for over a year, I go once a week for maintenance purposes and sometimes twice a week if I've tweaked something. I had been having severe back pain for years. When walking long distances or standing for long periods of time, it would always throb, making vacations miserable. Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Steven & Next Level! One stop for rehab + PT + chiro + overall wellness. I started seeing Dr. Steven a few months ago for lower back pain triggered from an injury that occurred several years ago. He not only addressed the immediate pain symptoms with dry needling but also examined my functional movement patterns and flexibility. Included in my treatment was a rehab exercise program with Alex and after several sessions I was happily symptom-free! If that wasn't enough, Dr. Steven also encouraged me to get a blood test to check various health markers given the intensity of my work & exercise habits. To my dismay, I learned I have three significant food allergies that were taxing my immune system. I go to NextLevel for relief of aches and pains from NOT working out and ignoring chronic pain that is making getting older even more challenging. The ART treatment is very different from any chiropractic I've had before. The treatment itself isn't anything like an easy spa massage but take their word for it - it works.
