Sadly, there was one time in the ER where I was diagnosed by a NA and it was wrong and I was prescribed a medication in the Mycin genre. I am allergic to any drug in the Mycin family; which I had written down, is in my folder and I told them verbally. The drug prescribed to me could have killed me and if it wasn't for my Pharmacist at Walgreens on Broadway, Ann who is the freaking BEST!, she saved my life.
