I had hurt my lower back moving things around my house one day and the sharp pinching pain was so persistent that I could not run for several weeks and it was very painful to even walk. My job requires me to be constantly scrambling around on my feet and I could not afford to miss a day. It never occurred to me when I found out I was pregnant to see a prenatal chiropractor until my aching body began screaming for help! I immediately reached out to Dr. Deb and she was a game changer! I was looking forward to the experience today; however, nothing happened. I was rushing to be at the facility for my 11:30 appointment, but when I arrived I was told by the receptionist that this "Dr. Joe Snyder" already left for the day. This "Dr. Joe Snyder" as shown on the appointment card, where he wrote "October 5th, 11:30 - Friday", did not meet his obligation. Was it because I signed-up during the SuperFrog event where he was advertising a $40 deal for his service, or he simply made a mistake and booked me for next Friday instead? No apologies whatsoever. If a patient/client does not show-up for an appointment for whatever reason, these practitioners charge the patient $25 as a "no-show fee." That's understandable. When they don't show-up to fulfill their commitment, would they pay the patient? It was a total waste of time and gas, but they don't care. I am not the only one who needs their service. Nice! Poor customer service, or I'll just say poor service. read more

I learned about Dr. Marin's practice through a friend, and was skeptical to go to a chiropractor again since I thought my neck pain was something I could handle myself. I woke up for work one day completely unable to move my neck, and decided to give her a call. She was busy, but able to fit me in within an hour. Her office was very comfortable and had some pretty neat technology. She used a machine that measured the "activity" around my spine and was able to show me exactly where the pain/tension was coming from. The visit was great. Dr Marin was able to clearly communicate with me where I needed to be, and how I needed to sit/lay while she adjusted my spine. The best part of it all, is that after two visits, I was free to go. I started seeing Dr. Marin after I had my baby and started getting tingly and numbness in my arms and hands. I thought it was early signs of carpal tunnel until another coworker told me to go see a chiropractor to check out my spine and my neck. Making an appt was easy and when I came in I was greeted with Dr. Marin, who is a very bright and positive person. She consulted with me and asked me why I came in and we discussed taking x-rays and after that a treatment plan. I can say that after just 1-2 months of seeing her my problem has decreased and I don't have much numbness anymore since Dr. Marin corrected the area that needed to be worked on. In the beginning you set appts for 3 days a week then you decrease to 2 days per week and then one day a week, and now I'm at once every 2 weeks--and I can honestly say I actually miss coming in more. You're not in there long but when you leave you feel so much better! My 1.5 year old just got adjusted yesterday for the first time. In the past 2 weeks he's not been his usual self because he is fussy and emotional and teething. Ever since he was adjusted he's like a new kid, or back to his usual self of being calm, smiling, and focused on activities he's doing. I went to this place because of a Living Social deal. Was easy to find, parked right out front. The front desk staff was friendly, asked me to fill out the usual paperwork, which I did. Within a minute or so after, I was greeted by Kristine, the massage therapist. Kristine gave me an Incredibly good massage (was only 30 min per coupon) and it was obvious she knew what she was doing. Just by telling her a few things, combined with what she found during the massage, I was able to pin point exactly, what it was, that caused my lower back pain. Next up was Dr. Joe. This guy looks like he just got out of H.S. He obviously knows his job though.. A few pops & cracks preceeded by an electrical type of exam and thoro explaination, i was feeling great.
