I've been to over 7 different Chiropractors in my life and Dr. B and Alisa are the best around. They are not only two of the kindest, most thoughtful people, but they know their stuff! I never want to see another Chiropractor again. I've found my "home" with them. Street parking is ample, but metered for the most part. But an adjustment takes only minutes so 1 quarter will do ya just fine. You are not pressured to buy products from them like in some Chiros offices. They believe in good health but would rather teach you how to achieve it than sell you some herbal product that promises it. If anyone is looking for a chiropractor, I will refer them to this practice. I just had my first appointment with Dr. B and it was wonderful. He and Dr. A (his wife) are very beautiful and positive people who are knowledgeable and genuine. I have a lot of anxiety about chiropractors in general - not so much about the actual technique or process, but because my dad is a chiropractor who trolled me my entire life growing up (i.e. "This is going to hurt sooooo badly.") and instilled a deep fear of the notorious "adjustment." All in all, I am extremely happy with my visit and will definitely return in the future! Dr. Cannon is really great. I went in there for some upper muscle / back issues. He went over all the different situation that can cause it, and how the back works, etc.. After they we went into the adjustment room were he did some scans of my back and proceeded to adjust me. Not only was he very professional, he explained what he was doing and what to expect. A few days later (over the weekend), he called to check up on me and make sure I was feeling good / no issues. Not only was the surprising, but Kudos to the customer service Doc! He addresses all the areas that happen to be off-centered and is always cognizant of areas of sensitivity, tension and injury. I have been going regularly to Pure Life Wellness for a few months now and it is the very best thing I could have done for myself!! I had been going here but not regularly. I feel better all the way around. My health is better, I sleep all night, my chronic back pain is gone, my neck pain is gone too, but most of all I value the free range of motion that I have now! I've been going to Pure Life Wellness regularly for about two years and I really enjoy my visits to their office. I live a pretty active lifestyle and sometimes over-do-it when it comes to working out. I am so glad i checked out Yelp and so very glad i found this place! i had a terrible pinched nerve feeling in my upper right side and they were able to squeeze me in btwn patients and i got the same professional treatment as if I had an appt. it was my 1st visit so it was pretty long but i found out a lot abt my back and tips to help it. I initially came to Dr. B from a Groupon and am so happy that I did! I was seeing another chiropractor prior to coming here and he was like a breath of fresh air. He educated me about my body and how alignments help my sinuses and migraines, both things that I unfortunately have to deal with. He is very gentle and extremely knowledgeable, providing me stretches that help between my adjustments. I have been battling a migraine for the last three days and I called them this morning and they fit me in. I walked out of there with none of the pain from my migraine or pressure on the complete left side of my body that I have been dealing with. I have never needed a chiropractor before I met Dr. B, I had an injury in my lower back that was a persistent problem for me for about a year. I got to a point when walking around the mall with my girlfriend I had to sit down and I figure at the age of 29 that this was not normal. from day one when I met both the owner's/ couple they were beyond nice and were able to explain a lot of detail oriented items about the back and how it works. Dr. Alissa fixed my injured back under two weeks and it has been feeling great since. I was taught exercises and massages to keep my spine healthy. I highly recommend Pure Life Wellness! I hurt my back and went to the doctors in hopes of getting a referral to a chiropractor, instead they gave me muscle relaxers which I didn't even end up taking. I was talking to a coworker when they recommended Dr. B to me so I decided to make an appointment as I'm not into taking all those medications for pain relief. I found Dr. Bernard Cannon and Pure Life Wellness from their Groupon deal, as I had just moved to San Diego. Before visiting their office, I had tried another nearby practice for an initial visit. That office had recommended a treatment plan package at $160 per month (even with my health insurance coverage!). After having my initial consultation with Dr. Cannon, he recommended a treatment plan that would be just over $200 for an entire SIX MONTHS of treatment. Big difference! In addition to the positive financial aspects, I can't say enough good things about my care at Pure Life Wellness! These two doctors really care about their patients, and there is a genuine relationship there, beyond just providing a service. The massage therapy sessions with Jason are fantastic as well (and VERY reasonable!). I'm grateful to have found such a great place for chiropractic and wellness care in San Diego.
