    Beautiful reflection on the river

We had the best day touring Yosemite. Tyler was our awesome driver and tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. We visited all the main sites. We differently recommend this tour.

My wife and I went on a 9-hour Discover Yosemite tour with Rick Miles in early September. It was absolutely phenomenal. We unexpectedly had to bring our 14-month old daughter on the tour last minute, and Rick adapted our experience flawlessly. He was so accomodating and ensured that we saw all the major sites and landmarks while also being mindful of our daughter. It was the perfect combination of hiking and sightseeing. Rick continued to serve as a resource to us after our tour; he was very responsive to all of our texts/ questions and provided us with other insightful recommendations. We were super grateful for this special experience.

We took our tour on Memorial Day and I can't say enough about how great it was. We knew it was going to be a busy day for the park. Before the tour, their communication back and forth was amazing and fast. Our tour guide Marsh picked us up right on time and even circled back for a couple of guest who were super late. She explained everything as we went and she did say if she was driving to fast or slow to let her know. She stopped to show deers and I think coyote. She would get out and talk about what we would expect to find on each putting off the bus and lunch was great, with plenty of snacks and water in between. She answered about a thousand questions my husband had. She walked couple trails with us and remembered to point out things I had asked about earlier. I would take another tour with her again in a heart beat. She gave us tips and secret spots to go to and outside the park also for lunch and dinner. There were plenty of bathroom breaks too. I will for sure be looking for these tours at every park from now on. It was worth every dime. Marsh even took pictures for each group. Lots of love from Texas

Well worth the money! If you are on a tight schedule like us and want to see most of what the area has to offer in one day this tour is great. Ask for Marsha as your guide, she is so knowledgeable about the park and passionate about keeping it pristine.

We had an awesome time on our tour yesterday. The bus was clean, the driver took everyone's temperature before they got on and passed out sanitizer! The tour was great, Marsha was knowledgeable and friendly. She did a great job and it was worth every penny!

We booked a tour with Crossroads through Viator and it was a great choice. Our guide Mike was perfect. Mike made sure to show us where the trailheads were for hikes we were thinking of taking at a later date. Our family of 6 took up most of the van and we were lucky to have another couple who were wonderful,to share the experience with us. You will get an early start with this tour but it is well worth it. We saw EVERYTHING! Thank goodness for Mike, he really was the perfect guide for us. I bobbled the booking and they were still happy to accommodate us. The weather was unpredictable the day of our tour so I felt more comfortable going in with a guide that could drive in snowy conditions. Laura was our guide. She was very knowledgeable and catered the tour around what we wanted which was sightseeing but also lots of snow play for our 6 year old. She engaged with our son many times during the car ride to keep him interested in the tour. She also offered to take pictures of us. She was very comfortable driving the van and we didn't feel unsafe at anytime. We got to see more than we thought we would see. She made stops along the way when we needed bathroom breaks. Lunch was good - sandwich, cookie, chips, and water. We were missing 1 sandwich. I would check at pick up to ensure all lunches are there. We would use this company again. Thank you Ramji + Laura for making my son's birthday wonderful.

The owner and staff were super welcoming and walked us through all their offerings, which made the experience even better. We kicked things off with a cider flight--our favorites were Early Harvest and Graveyard. Early Harvest was simple, crisp, and just sweet enough, while Graveyard reminded me of a Scottish smoky cider aged in whiskey barrels. I do wish there were a few more sweet options overall and possibly a current up to date list of what's on tap somewhere online, but everything was well-crafted and flavorful! To cool off, we grabbed a cider slushy (highly recommend!) and wandered the property. We visited the goats, strolled through the apple trees, and made friends with their big fluffy Pyrenees who was living his best life napping in the shade. I picked up a bottle of Early Harvest and a t-shirt to bring back to DFW. It was the perfect stop--relaxed, local, and a great way to start the afternoon before heading into Yosemite. After our tasting, we walked through some of the apple trees, visited the cutest goats, and made friends with their big, lazy Pyrenees dog who was living his best life soaking up attention. The tasting flight I got was primarily focused on the drier varieties and they did a great job of making well balanced, delicious ciders that let the quality of the apples shine through. You can also pick apples or flowers for a very reasonable fee. They have an area of food trucks and today Yosemite Pizza was there. The pizza was great and went well with the cider. The staff was kind and helpful. If you are in the area and want a cold cider, or a place to let the little one explore a bit this is an excellent choice.

We wanted to avoid driving to the Park because of the rainy winter conditions. I called the company 3x and each time a woman answered and said she would call me back when she was in the office. Twice she called back and was not able to give me a specific date for a tour but wanted to take my credit card info. When we arrived at our Bass Lake destination there were glitzy brochures from this touring group. We called and got a slightly better response with a specific date that was available; we booked a full-day tour. The tour guide was punctual. Another couple at our hotel was also on the tour. The guide was pleasant but lacked a certain exuberance and historical/local lore knowledge that I associate with great tour guides. This beckons the question -- why go with a tour company? It's often more relaxing to let someone else do the driving, someone who knows the area and where to park. But, tour buses are more than taxi services. You expect them to "entertain" you with information tidbits. Our guide wasn't bad...but she was so tentative and seemed mostly to recite dates and little factoids. I was surprised to learn that she was leading bus tours for 12 or so years. But I ask a lot of questions...I'm inquisitive. The couple from Sacramento asked virtually no questions during the tour. We had asked ahead of time if we could dine at the Ahwahnee Hotel for lunch and the tour bus confirmed we'd stop there. The other couple was unfamiliar with the Ahwahnee but agreed to eat there after I told them about its historical significance compared to the "Food Court." The guide called to make reservations and asked if we wanted to sit together which made for some awkward silence until I said "two tables." How many people would want to spend $100 on lunch and sit with strangers? When the guide dropped us off at the restaurant she said she'd give us 30-45 minutes. Again, does it make sense to go to an expensive restaurant for a lovely lunch and leave within 30-minutes. I felt rushed. The tour consisted of driving around and looking out the van windows at lovely mountains and waterfalls. It was cold and wet and no one wanted to go hiking. I regret having to rush through the Ahwahnee Hotel and I never got to go to a Yosemite store or visitor station. Our tour would have ended about 2 hours earlier than usual if I'd not requested that we stop at a museum in Mariposa. The guide obliged but it was apparent she was interested in ending the tour early. I've had some terrific tours and a lot of it has to do with the personality of the tour guide -- their passion about the place, their willingness to go beyond and treat their guests to interesting experiences.
