While the reception staff and any…read morenurse I worked with here was amazing - both doctors I had through this clinic were not within the standards I expect from anyone in the field of caring for people. Between a doctor forgetting they had been my doctor for the past 6 months and telling me we had never met in person and another doctor quitting my pain management prescription with no notice on a medication that should be tapered down in dose all the while telling me that exercise would be the best pain management option for me - I ended up choosing to not work with this clinic any further. While working with both doctors here I felt that I was not seen as anything other than an overweight patient that needed to lose weight. I felt that they ignored the history of medical issues that appeared in childhood before my weight issues. I felt like they ignored the effort I was putting into my health. I felt like every appointment I was being judged and ignored. Even giving the benefit of the doubt on their intentions I can not ignore how their actions effected me. Overall while I believe the nurses and other staff are wonderful - I cant recommend anyone go here strictly on the basis of care I received from the doctors. I left almost every appointment feeling demoralized and dehumanized. When a doctor can't take the time to check a chart before seeing you or care to take any value out of your medical history and can't even respect the pain you are going through - I can't say they are a good doctor. Please save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else.

Went in on a Friday because I was done feeling so crappy and decided to give this clinic a whirl…read moresince the clinic I had been going to was clear out in the Herriman/Riverton area. I was checked in quickly had a minimal 20-25 min wait and then got to be seen by Dr. Lodding. She was super attentive and informative. I left with a couple prescriptions and ideas to remedy my sinus issue. I feel like she really listened to me and that I was cared for. I will use this clinic in the future and take her recommendation for finding a primary physician from the list she provided me.

I have been a patient at Lifetree (now Omega Interventional Pain) for over seven years! I am quite…read moretired and fed up with those who are 'dissing' the clinic. It is usually because they were released from the clinic for being non-compliant with the agreed upon protocols (a pattern of processes you agree to abide by when you become a patient). And Mr. David M, they do NOT "double-dip" on patient payments. The cash required is a deposit which the patient receives back, 'in full', after they show up to their first appointment. The reason for this process is because there are more addicts in the area than you can shake a stick at, who make an appointment, trying to get in RIGHT AWAY so that they would be able to get in quickly and 'get their pills'! This process helps weed those patient wanna-be's out because most addicts aren't willing to lay down a hundred bucks in order to get an appointment some two months, or more, down the road! They want their fix NOW!! I've seen some people complain about urine samples being 'mixed-up' with others on the counter and then they get kicked out because the 'OTHER' persons urine had benzodiazapenes, cocaine, or other lovely substances in it. This is impossible to do, because not only do they put thermometers on the cups to make sure no patient is 'bagging" it, they also make DANG sure your name is on the cup as well, BEFORE you go to the restroom to provide the sample. And be glad you aren't in the military or in prison!! Those institutions actually make you provide the sample, while being watched! Addicts are getting more and more clever these days, in order to get 'AROUND' the system. One complaint I've seen is that some people have to wait three hours for an appointment, this is sometimes sadly true and I myself have had to endure it. However, the main reason for this is somewhat two to three fold: 1) Quite a few patients come late and then pitch a fit if they're not seen or 'Fit into' the schedule. 2) Other patients sometimes have more urgent cases and end up taking a longer time with the provider than scheduled, because of an unforseen emergency. And, trust me, if YOU ever end up being one of these patients, you'll sincerely appreciate the provider's' willingness to so call 'mix and match' with the clinics time! I was one of them once, and due to the care I received at the clinic, was able to avoid having to be admitted to the ICU!! Another complaint from others I wanted to address, is that of office staff providing unauthorized access to HIPPA guarded information. I have NEVER had office staff blatently, or openly, discuss a patients personal information within the hearing radius of other people! One time, i did have a Nurse Practitioner (Rebecca Wallace - who is no longer at the clinic) speak with a neighbor who had provided me with transportation to the clinic. Well, this neighbor did not have any clue about what was going on with me, nor did she have authority to discuss my care with a provider! As a result of this provider and my neighbor discussing my case, and with erroneous information, the NP ended up having my driver's license withdrawn! I was EXCESSIVELY angry!! But, instead of getting hot headed and spouting off at the mouth, I sat down that evening and composed a letter to Dr. Webster. In my letter, I stated that Rebecca had NO legal right to discuss my care with my neighbor (any provider MUST clear any such discussions with either the patient, or the next-of-kin [i.e. a parent, or spouse], and that due to erroneous information that she received from an authorized discussion, my drivers' license was revoked unnecessarily (at least in my opinion). I let them know that I was not of any litigious (legal) mind and had absolutely no intentions of suing the clinic. (WAY too many patients look at instances like this as an opportunity to get a little rich instead of looking at it as an opportunity to talk to their provider and potentially not only the one problem cleared up, but maybe even others as well!! And then, they sit and wonder why health care has become SO expensive!! It's called Malpractice Insurance PEOPLE!!!! Every health care provider must have it. And, the more a provider is taken to court or before review-boards, the more their insurance costs, AND the more they have to pass along in costs to their patients!) After I had cooled down, I checked with the State's Drivers License Bureau and found out that I could get my license re-instated by taking a special driving test. I almost passed this cost along to the clinic, but decided it wasn't worth it, I took the test and had my license back in less than two weeks people!!!! MUCH less hassle and heartache than fishin' around for a new provider : P All-in-all, the staff and providers at Life Tree [now Omega Interventional Pain Clinic - and ] are professional, busy, HUMAN people who after almost 7 years of them helping to care for me, I sincerely appreciate!

Every doctor, every nurse to every one else in between that helped me recover did a fabulous job. The ICU nurses were attentive and caring. My nurses on the regular floor gave me a little more independence and freedom. My transplant doctor, Dr. Bluff has set the bar high for any other specialty doctor that helps me in the future. She was fantastic! My nephrologist, Dr. Jweehan was amazing! When you're going through your healing process, you deal with multiple nephrologists. Dr. Jweehan was my only nephrologist from the beginning til the end. She was the kindest, most passionate, most caring doctor. I'm happy that she was with me through the whole process. The facility is beautiful. It's a very big and stunning hospital. I appreciate that there's someone playing the piano in the lobby. It eases some of the stress I went through having to do labs multiple times a week. It was nice hearing such nice music while waiting for my name to be called. I stayed in Utah for 5 weeks. And every visit I had at this hospital was great. All the staff here is just nice. I think the only negative incidents that I had was a CNA kicking my husband and daughter out of my original recovery room and a gentleman who was dropping off my food. Other than that, my interactions with this hospital was fabulous. I couldn't recommend a better hospital to be taken care at. I have my 6 month check up on April. I look forward to coming back and seeing my doctors who took such great care of me.
