I went to Dr. Racanelli and he was very honest with me. He explained about how the surgery works and took time to properly examine me. When I had the actual surgery, he gave me a goody bag with a facial wash and toner, which were amazing. He was always very gentle but honest. He also doesn't try to talk you into getting surgeries just so he can make a buck off of you. I asked him about getting another procedure and he told me that I'd be better off waiting. He also will not prescribe certain painkillers due to their addictive nature. The ones that he gave me, however, did the trick just fine and despite having my face opened, I did not feel pain from the surgery once. Now, I look and feel fantastic and no one can even tell that I had my nose done. When I tell people, they are at first astonished and then ask for his name so they can check him out themselves. He also fixed my deviated septum and overactive turbinates, so I can finally breathe out of both of my nostrils for the first time in my life. He is both professional and kind. If I ever decide on another procedure, I will only see Dr. Racanelli.

It fell on my thumb and shattered. I pulled out a piece which I saw embedded on my thumb (I'm sorry for the gory details) and thought that I'm on the rode to a smooth recovery. Three weeks later, my wound is healed, but I got a stabbing pain on my thumb everytime I try to bend it. Ugh realization hit, I still got glass inside my thumb. After telling my primary doctor what happened, she referred me to Dr. Cho. Now comes Dr. Cho. He takes the time to hear your concerns, explains the procedure, very patient with me as I freaked out (internally) and has such a calming energy. Dr. Cho has great bedside manners and his energy makes you feel at ease. Dr. Cho remained available and was so prompt with answering my questions regarding post surgery and stitch removal. His professionalism stands out! I felt so supported throughout the whole process. I definitely don't want to say I will be back because that means I got hurt again. They enforced mask wearing in the office and even asked people to wait outside when the office became too crowded, which was MUCH appreciated. I had to wait ~30 minutes. That would've sucked back in 2010, but in 2020, it's actually not all that bad. Still, the awesome staff more than made up for the waiting. The exam room was clean and well-lit. My dermatologist was Frances Cukierwar, who is definitely a 5-star dermatologist. Frances is a PA (Physician's Assistant), but I was going for a yearly full body dermatological scan and to check out a small growth I had on my thigh, and a PA is more than 100% fully qualified for that. She was very professional, competent, and instilled confidence in me, which is important for any doctor (we don't want to lack confidence in our healthcare provider, right?). My normal dermatologist in near my office in Midtown, but due to COVID-19, I'm working from home until a vaccine comes out, and honestly, Frances has my full trust. I wouldn't hesitate to go to her again. In fact, I think she's more competent than the dermatologist I normally go to near my Manhattan office.
