While we were on the boulevard Saint Laurent, coffee was in demand by my brain. Instead of trying a regular branch ones, I felt trying an independent coffeeshop, and Dispatch Coffeeshop turns out be around the corner. It is a pretty modern place. The service is just ok. Workers didn't seem passionate. At the cash, the minute there is no customer, the staff leaves to sit and be on her phone and when she sees a new customer walking in; she exasperates, which found very annoying. I also had to repeat my orders 3 times, which I wasn't very happy about it. But our barista made amazing lattes for us, and I grateful about it.

Stopped here for coffee before going to Schwartz's. Minimalistic vibe. Good coffee but not a standout in my opinion. Fairly busy shop given the location.

Oh-so-pricy, but oh-so-delicious coffee. I had ordered a latte with oat milk and the taste was so deep, roasty, round and toasty, much different than the average franchise level stuff (do these adjectives even mean anything?). So for the non believers out there, yes there is a noticeable difference in quality of the beans. Would I drink this every day? No, I'm not Bill Gates. But a girl can splurge from time to time, right? In any event, the baristas were friendly, they showed me all my milk alternative choices. I would come back.

One of my fave plateau coffee shops. Amazing service, everyone who works here is extremely nice and friendly. Also you can tell there is a lot of knowledge of their coffee. The space is nice and open, modern aesthetic. Good music. Accessible. Gender neutral bathrooms. Great lattes and chai. Only downside is there is only one kind of plant based milk and that's oat. So if you can't have oat or cows milk, it limits your options.

Great coffee!! We love this place!

Probably the best espresso in Montreal! We keep coming back for more! The food is great and so is the seating.

Great service! The baristas explained all of their beans to me with patience and even lete sample some coffee. The espresso was smooth, slightly bitter and rich. The two ladies working were there on both visits send they were amazing. The pastries are good as well.

Specialty coffee is only reserved for the special and privileged people, right? Wrong (buzzer sound)! The founder of Dispatch Coffee philosophy to deliver quality products, new experiences at a reasonable price to the masses is about to take a leap to the next level with this third location! As I breathe in deeply the intoxicating aroma and savor the warming first sip from a cup of a special something that was grown, picked, processed, roasted, and brewed with so much love and care, my good friend reminds me that that a specialty coffee shops success is so much more than just about the quality of the beans - it's actually about the overall experience and the relationships that led to the experience! The relationships that coffee shop owners nurture with its producers/exporters/importers is as an integral a part of the specialty business and is as important as the relationship with its customers; bridging the gap between the people and the many coffee varieties cultivated in far and remote lands. Think about the coffee shops that made you fall in love with the wonderful brews... were the baristas friendly and treat you more like a buddy than "Just" any other customer? Did you enjoy the chit chat and felt you can confide in them? Were you impressed to learn that the world's coffee billions of cups produced depends on a mere 125M or so independent farmers or that one can only extract up to 28% of a bean? Did every sip of coffee remind you that you just simply belong there? Creating positive interactions, tasty products, and a comfy environment is what Dispatch is all about. So far I had the pleasure of enjoying delicious cups made by Annie (from Melbourne), with Finca El Rincon Coffee beans from Guatemala. Expect a light to medium roast, slightly undeveloped, with light flavors of spicy tobacco, tea notes, cane sugar like sweetness, milk chocolate and pralines. Will come back to see the evolution progress and certainly quiz the wiz at the coffee knowledge bar. Kudos to owner Chrissy Durcak and coffee director Chris Durning. Upwards and onwards!
