I chose District Hall to host my wedding reception. We wanted a good indoor/outdoor space with good food and live music. District Hall was perfect. The owner, Ed, is very easy to work with. The space has a rustic appeal that easy to make beautiful. We didn't need to rent extra seating as it easily accommodates 60+ people. The price for alcohol was reasonable. They were able to accommodate Gluten allergies. We had the best band, who plays bluegrass style tunes regularly at DH, but also had access to the speaker system for dancing. Ed was on-site for the reception and had my favorite bartender who works there serve us. We danced the night away. My wedding reception was an absolute blast. Highly recommend this place. read more

Great food and drinks, but charging $5.25 for a small cup of Ranch dressing is ridiculous. The atmosphere of the place is fun, but the pricing could use work. Once the prices become fair, this will be a 5-star restaurant! Update: The owner quickly contacted me, apologized for the pricing error in the computer, and offered to make it right. Such a fun night was had here with family and our kiddos. Everyone from the server, the DM, and the band was top notch! The kitchen sink pizza is fantastic as well as the bacon fries, and spinach artichoke dip. Fantastic wine/beer selection as well. I have always enjoyed this place for the food, atmosphere, and great bar selection, but I owe them a huge thank you. The other night I celebrated my birthday and after the original location (Loda Beir Garten in Mobile) supposedly lost our reservation, told us they would not attempt to accommodate us, and gave no real apology we were forced to change locations at the last minute. District Hall not only made room for us, gave us excellent services, but went that extra mile to help celebrate my birthday. All of that while having a packed house for one of their normally busy nights. For any kind of celebration big or small keep these guys at the top of your list. read more

I finally ordered from this place through the waitr app. I ordered a gluten free pizza ..first time ever having gluten free. Meh..I somehow thought this would have some taste to it. Not so much. Not a win for the gluten free hype. Next I ordered the whole hog pizza because of the picture on the menu frankly. Not at all what showed up at my door. Piglet more like it. The flavor was good what i could get of it. I took a picture of what I recieved and a screen shot of the picture on the waitr app. Not even close relatives. For a first time experience of the place. Not impressed and probably won't go back. It kind of made me sad. I was really expecting something food network worthy from the hype. Oh well. Lesson learned. read more

This place is a dog park for children. Parents come every night and turn their children loose to run, race, jump, scream, yell, shout, kick balls, throw footballs, and make noise. Parents enjoy beers, cocktails, and (delicious) food oblivious to the chaos. If you need a place to bring your children to run out their energy and exhaust them....this is the place. If you want to enjoy a peaceful and pleasant meal outside on a patio....this isn't the place. (Two stars because the Wings are amazing!!). read more

Best smoked brisket I have ever had anywhere. Tender, not fatty and with a to die for flavor. Only problem is that its popularity regularly exceeds the capacity of the smoker. So the food truck has to close awaiting new smoked meat. All is not lost as there is a full bar and good pizza and burgers -- I have not had the latter but the pizza is excellent. I recommend the white varieties (often ordered as The Warehouse when they had pizza nights). And check out Hercules. read more

First of all, I really do like this place despite the 3 stars. It is a great place to have some drinks and food with friends with kids. There is a big open space for kids to run around and have fun, which is always a must because my kids do not sit still for more than 2 minutes. The reason I give it three stars is because it can be a little confusing and overwhelming when trying to order food and drinks. They set it up like an "order at the counter" restaurant, although there is just one person taking all the orders. For everyone in the restaurant. This one person also opens and closes tabs and give you your check. That is a lot of work for one person, and it often gets backed up with people trying to order. Also, the one person doing all the work isn't necessarily the friendliest of people. I don't know why they don't just treat busy times like any other restaurant where you order at the table with a server. It would seem to make things run smoother. Also, I have ordered pizza from here about 3 different times and each time it is undercooked. Like the crust is soggy and cheese not all melted. However, their wings are amazing! read more

We were so excited for this addition a few months ago. The vibe is "Austin", the service is good & there was a good truck that served the best BBQ in Alabama. It has a great bar that started with a very good happy hour, although on more than one occasion, they served me a more expensive drink than the one I ordered. The food truck is gone now, and every week they are open fewer days. Now it will just be 4 nights / week. The 'happy hour" keeps changing and their menu is mostly pizza. Very average pizza. They made great tacos for Cinco de Mayo but unless they revamp the menu, I don't think they will make it. Very nice people, but I don't get the current concept. I don't want a pizza place with a fancy bar. I want BBQ, tacos, Texas style food. Even a good Reuben would be welcome. read more

Attended my nephew's rehearsal dinner at District Hall. Such a fun and friendly environment. Employees were fun and accommodating. If I lived closer this place would definitely be our "go to" place! Oh, and the food was delicious, too! read more

I ordered the food from a delivery service Waitr, which was great! I wish I could say the same about the pizza & the wings. The pizza crust was so bland, it was just about tasteless. The pizza & wing sauces tasted like they used cheap ingredients, pasty, & very old to the point it should of been thrown out. The ranch dressing that came with the wings even tasted awful. read more

My son was visiting for 2 days . He had been working 12 hour days for 2 weeks with no break . He wanted pizza . BTW he is a chef , has owned restaurants been on Top Chef and numerous tv shows . He knows good food and just wanted a pizza from a local establishment and not a chain . I ordered and picked it up . The worst pizza we have ever had . Frozen would have been better . The crust was disgusting , not much cheese or sausage on it . We had 6 chicken wings that were decent . Total cost $27.00 . I will never go there again . This restaurant should not be selling pizza .
