That's why I pulled up, but the singing part seems like fun too!! . Where I am: @echoboxus . Location Reviewed: 1633 Q St., N.W. Washington D.C. . Items Reviewed: Their Aperol Spritz ($15 with aperol, prosecco, & soda water). I assume this is good!! STAMP!! Their Ocean Mocktail ($10 with blue, & lemon lime). The aioli was sweet, & peppery, the ring were nice & crispy too!! STAMP!! Their Pork Buns ($12.99 with sweet n spicy pork belly, a cucumber n carrot slaw, & lettuce inside flour buns). I'm a fan!! The sauce has a tip of heat, & sweet, the pork was perfectly cooked, with that soft bun...it HIT!! STAMP!! Their Sweet n Spicy Shrimp ($12.99 for 5 battered, & fried sweet n spicy shrimp). A crunchy outer layer, the heat n sweet sauce again, & the shrimp were plump!! STAMP!! Their Korean Fried Chicken ($17.99 for 5 soy garlic wings, & 5 spicy soy garlic wings). If you're looking for a fun night and also great food looking no further than echo box!!!…read more Let me talk about the food first - they do specialize in Korean fried chicken so definitely order some wings. It has the crispiest batter with the juiciest chicken. Another must order as the onion ring tower, which comes with the ketchup and spicy sauce. We finished that very quickly. We also loved the Bulgogi flatbread. I think that is a must order haven't seen anything like that it was so delicious! OK now the karaoke: the rooms are very spacious and super clean they do give disposable covers for the microphones. Again, not all karaoke spots do that. There's a choice of YouTube and regular machine (with more Asian songs) . The lights, the sound, echo everything is customizable. For all group sizes you can find a room. I loved our time here definitely will be coming back. Also, I went on a Sunday and they had a child's birthday party happening so it is for all ages!!

My daughter was craving sushi, and we found Zeppelin, which was conveniently within walking distance of our hotel. Upon arrival, we were seated upstairs and welcomed by Brian, our server. Both my daughter and I were immediately pleased with the service, but the food... oh my God! was simply divine! My daughter ordered the SpiderMan sushi roll, which was crunchy with a really nice spicy kick. I ordered the Zeppelin roll, and it was absolutely delicious! A mixture of different flavors twirled across my palate and literally made me wiggle my toes! Before we knew it, we decided to order the Chesapeake to split, and it did not disappoint. We left happy, satisfied, and already talking about how good the food was. What a great find! If you're in DC and looking for delicious sushi with great service, I definitely recommend Zeppelin.

Our server was very good, prompt, and spot on with the same recommendation so four stars for him. Cocktails were decently priced but a little on the sweet side. Not bad, just sweeter than expected and wanted so we switched to a bottle of sake with the sushi. It was a good recommendation by the server. Sushi itself was decent. Sashimi was good, fresh and well plated. I'd say it's definitely lacking something but I'm mentally comparing what we had to Philly and NYC and that's a little unfair so I'll just say it was good. The Godzilla roll, however, was the downside. It was as if we could take the top of the roll and make a tuna sandwich out of it. Not bad because I like a good tuna sandwich at times, just not what I want on a sushi roll. Sure, a Godzilla roll isn't a revolutionary roll but still... Music for an early dining experience was cool. Restaurant was clean and ambiance was as ambiancey as it can get at 6:30pm in summer.

Tucked away with a speakeasy vibe, Singing Tiger feels like a well-kept secret. It wasn't overly crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable and intimate. The service? Top-tier. Our bartender, Christian, was phenomenal, very attentive, personable, and clearly knows the menu inside and out. Her recommendations did not miss. Now let's talk about the food: The salt and pepper shrimp was absolutely to die for, perfectly seasoned and crispy. The pork belly buns were rich, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth good. And the Korean fried chicken? Simply sublime, crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The drinks were just as impressive, well-crafted, balanced, and the perfect complement to the meal. Overall, this place is a solid 10/10. From the vibe to the service to the food and drinks, everything hit. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for great food and an elevated, low-key experience.
