Got there about 10 minutes early. Located in a newer strip mall off 13 in savage. I had a 5pm cut with Lucas. He ran about 5 minutes late - more on that later. Place was busy. Lots of guys coming after work, kids too. Nice vibe. Big screen tv, couches, and lots of barber chairs. There was a least 8 barbers working. My haircut. Showed Lucas what I wanted via a picture of what I wanted on my phone. He asked some intelligent questions and then got started. He took a good amount of time on a #1 taper cut. He spent a lot of time on the sides and back. I appreciate this. There was an emphasis on getting things right versus rushing through the cut. Perhaps this is why he was 5 minutes late getting to me. I appreciate this a consider this a very fair trade off. Hot towel at the end. Price was 35. I had been paying 50 for a cut with another stylist. I believe this to be good value. Guess I had my lucky shirt on! Needed a clean up on my fade and took a chance that this spot would take walk ins. Immediately upon entrance was greeted and the door and walked to a chair. My barber was a young fella quite possibly the newest of the group as he had the last chair in the shop. But this young man was not lacking in skills. His attention to detail was phenomenal, almost scientific. Needless to say a great haircut. He mentioned his appointment didn't show, their loss my gain! The shop had a man shop vibe strong yet comfortable, I noticed some shampoo bowls? Well maintained and floors swept. Got great service and a quality cut for just $51. After a year of horrible pandemic haircuts (hey, I tried!), I was referred to V at District One by a cousin of mine. The online booking process was easy (great, because I'll procrastinate if I have to call in) and the appointment reminder texts were so helpful! Upon arriving, it was nice to see that the shop had both the front and back door open creating a nice cross ventilation you could feel. There was hand sanitizer out and both boys were amused by the giant connect four game they had available. V was more than happy to work around my children's masks, and was patient working with them. In the end, both boys left truly excited by their refreshed looks and this mom couldn't be any happier. read more

I went to the Barbershop in savage and was taken care of by Dan I liked this Barbershop but it cost $30 for a hair Cut. And when I was ready to pay I felt like I had to get cash out of ATM because they took only cash on they were able to do a credit card but asked the customer to take out cash instead. for $30 I could have gone to sports clips got a hot towl and massage and a haircut for less It's a little bit too rich for my blood. I do understand that this place does straight razor shaving but from what I understand that costs $30 which I might be interested in if it was a little bit cheaper. read more

I took my 3 year old boy here today and they were absolutely amazing!! Put a movie on for him, had a dinosaur and shark cape for him to pick from and they were the nicest people!!
