NOT WORTH FOR A RIDE!…read more We are family of 3 joined the Private Winter Rides in Feb 2024 while travelling to New York. Prior to our arrival, we were requested by the Farm to sign a waiver "PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT, RELEASE, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK" - means you bear all the possible risk from the ride, and the farm not provide any refund in any circumstance. Unfortunate thing happened on us, we were asked to jump out from the carriage immediate by the groom due to the horses were sudden uncontrolled. We got sprained legs and broken canon camera lens. The staff pretend to be nice to provide us their insurance company contact for the claim, but finally their insurance company denied the claims as we signed the 'waiver' requested by the farm. We would agree to sign and acknowledge the certain risk might be occurred during this carriage, when we expected to have the necessary information be provided the provider/ company before we getting on the carriage ride, including: - The most possible situations be happened in the carriage ride; - The safety protection be provided during the carriage ride; - The actions be taken by us if the given situations happened in carriage, e.g. In the hotel, we would provide the sign for EXIT and the instructions to follow in case of fire. However, we were just instructed to get on the carriage WITHOUT any safety instructions be briefed by the FARM staffs before starting the ride. When the horses were suddenly uncontrolled at the front managed by the groom, we just heard someone shouted "Hey guys, get out of the cart now!" The moment we were lost and felt frighten and tried our own best effort to jump out from the carriage, this is also causing my husband fell on the ground with carmen lens damage from this accident as we did not what to do at that moment. We paid for the trip for enjoyment in US and honest to report this unforeseeable accident. Don't trust the US insurance companies and be precaution to sign the waiver as that's the evidence to deny their liability. And the ride is trash to bring walk around the forest in 15 mins. Don't worth for a ride with pay off the risk at your own.

Still, the environments created around said turtles are whimsical, educational and awe-inspiring for the little 'uns. An extra star for free admission to YMCA members, and for the enjoyable outdoor space, which includes a chicken hutch, active gardens, stone circles for pagan worship (I kid, or do I?) and about a billion chipmunks. Seriously, it's like Alvin attained Beiber status and all the teen chips are swarming for an autograph. Excellent programming and festivals throughout the year - even a Corn Fest! - and, as mentioned, completely free for YMCA members. Solid way to knock out an hour or two if your spawn is being a terror. Or obsesses over turtles. Or both.

I was excited to know that if I miss that one during the week many of the same venders come here with a few other exciting venders too. They make great use of the fairgrounds for the winter market. When you come you can check out a lot of antique tools and machinery used back in the gold ol days. All the venders are happy to educate you on their products and how to use them. They have recently brought in a few more local organic farms as well. Please go and support our local farmers for your health and the well being of the birds, bees and live stock near us.

You can't beat the ease of ordering online earlier in the week and picking up on Saturday. All of the people working there are so friendly and helpful. The vegies are organic, incredibly fresh, and beautiful! When lettuce was in season I often took a photo of the heads because they were so huge! I also adore the baked goods from the gluten and dairy free bakery. I can't make it out of the parking lot without trying their treats! They're amazing. We are so lucky to have this available to us on the south shore. Give it a try to support our local farmers and businesses.

And I never leave there without feeling satisfied with my readings. And the very last time I was there, she explained to me that not only was a healer, in a sense I could help other people more. And I also I'm looking forward to taking some Reiki classes here . I'm sure many other classes I'll be interested into. I've also purchased several different stones that I carry with me in my pocketbook to protect me while I'm driving. I also put stones inside my zipped pillowcase to help me sleep and stay protected from darkness.. My favorite thing are my Sage and my cleansing candles alongside my protection spray that she recommended that smells wonderful and alongside my spirit guides protecting me, I do feel like the spray helps.. Every time I walk into Open Doors , I'm greeted with such welcoming individuals. You feel like you're home. They're right there to share stories or help you find what you need. I'm looking forward to going back whenever I can. Thank you so much Open Doors sincerely, Jenny Folco.

Docked along the calm Plymouth Harbor, this full-scale reproduction of the original Mayflower is part of the Plimoth Patuxet Museums, and stepping aboard feels like you're slipping back 400 years to an era of resilience, survival, and new beginnings. What Stood Out: The Ship Itself The craftsmanship is incredible. The towering masts, coiled rope, and carefully restored woodwork give you a real sense of what life might've been like on that 66-day transatlantic voyage. You can walk the cramped quarters, peer into the hold, and picture just how uncomfortable (and brave) those original passengers were. A Balanced Narrative The museum signage and storytelling have come a long way from the one-sided Pilgrim myth. The partnership with the Wampanoag communities through Plimoth Patuxet Museums brings context, balance, and truth to the history something that makes this visit not only powerful but necessary. Friendly Staff Whether you're chatting with costumed interpreters or just asking a question at the ticket booth, the staff is welcoming and clearly passionate about what they do. They're happy to explain everything from sailing techniques to the social dynamics onboard. Great Photo Ops Cloudy or sunny, the Mayflower II is a stunner. With the ship framed by the harbor, it's hard to take a bad shot here. From the pier, the angles are dramatic especially with those brooding New England skies. Final Thought: The Mayflower II isn't just a replica, it's a reminder. Of sacrifice, of missteps, of courage, and of the complex story that built this country. A walk on that deck will leave you thoughtful, grateful, and maybe even a little more connected to the real people behind the history books. #MayflowerII #PlymouthMA #LivingHistory #PlimothPatuxet #HistoricHarborViews #WalkThroughTime #ItsTheLittleThings #ThePuddingCreekTrestleApproves
