So we decided to give Levitate another shot tonight - it was strike 3 for us! Waited in line 12 mins to get a beer for my wife and I and to order food- 2 inexperienced girls making drink badly. We ordered Tacos and pizza. We got the pork taco and there was a piece of fat that was 4 inches long and the chicken taco wasn't any better- horrendous. The pizza was almost good. But the highlight of the night was the entertainment - a guy from Quincy named Danny Curtis.. We lasted thru 6 songs and couldn't wait to leave. Way TF off key-way too loud the guitar was out of tune..and every song sounded like the other one before it..people were looking at each other like WTF is this crap? This place always hits. The food is fresh & delicious with great choice in beers & cocktails. The surf shop & clothing store have awesome choices. They have live music throughout the week. The service is generally very good but the place can get incredibly busy incredibly fast. There is also Slack Tide coffee located inside as well if you need a caffeine pick me up. read more

Went her on a Tuesday evening with our niece (6) and nephew (3). Good kid-friendly place. The dining area is picnic tables and high tops all enclosed by a fence. ie the kids are contained. There are 2 stages and the vibe is very much tame and laid back. The food was pretty good- tacos/nachos, etc. Drinks are good too. No waiters or waitresses, you go to the bar to get your drinks and place your food order. Once the food is ready you pick it up and carry it back. I would go back. Haven't been here in a weekend evening, different vibe I'm sure. If you remember only one thing from this review, remember America is #1. read more

They had what we were looking for, & it started with us going to Wyman's in Hanson, Mass. . We went to Wyman's to buy some plants & one of their staff was wearing a Levitate Garden Hat!!! We asked him where he got it, & that's why we are at Levitate!!! We bought the hats & then some!! We then went next door to Slacktide where I bought a coffee with Oat-milk with cinnamon & an avocado toast!!! Scrumptious!! We'll be back guaranteed! read more

Stopped in for a drink with a friend and was asked at the door of we had a ticket to the show. We said we didnt but the show was in the backyard area. We were allowed to go to the bar where the bartender didnt even look at us and yelled to the girl at the door that she wasnt serving at the bar anymore and promptly walked off leaving us standing there gawking at how rude she was. We went to another local bar and had a fabulous drink. Honestly we didnt need a ticket for the show. The back area was crowded and we could have gotten a beer from the liquor store across the street and sat in the car listening for free. After that rude treatment for our first time there to try it I will never be back read more

I went here for the first time recently and I'm going to leave this place the most sincere compliment I can. The food was exactly as good as I hoped it would be. The margaritas the bartenders mixed up were impeccable. But the vibes...the vibes were perfect. I lived in Central Coast California for a few years, and I spent every weekend I could in Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz is my favorite place in this country I've ever spent time in, and the Levitate Backyard/Rexicana scene is the closest I've ever felt to being back there. Every single member of the staff I met (including inside in the actual surf store) was so chill and friendly and cool. It was like walking around on the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk on a Saturday afternoon (but with much better food). I cannot wait to go back again. I've been here once and I love this place already. Next time I will wear my treasured Santa Cruz hoodie that I bought in Capitola. read more

I am a relatively common customer for Levitate brand items so when I heard they were opening a restaurant I of course had to try. My family and a couple friend went for dinner. The atmosphere is AMAZING it is well decorated and very colorful and just a nice place to hangout and get some food/drinks. The first issue is that you have to order on your phone and that is a little frustrating for the older crowd and just takes away from the experience a little. The food was good.. very fresh and tasty. The chips are amazing and the tacos are great. The real issue is the prices. Levitate overcharges for their surf apparel and the restaurant is no different. A starter of Chips & Guac, 3 orders of tacos and soft drinks was more than $90. That is just ridiculous, the portions are very conservative and you are literally ordering off of your phone. We each only got 2-3 small tacos. I would definitely recommend going once but this is not a place to frequently visit. read more

When we first sat down we weren't even informed that they didn't take cash. We ordered 2 orders of the brisket tacos as well as an order of the of the chip and guacamole and a chicken burrito, they came out pretty quick. An hour goes by and we still haven't gotten 2 orders of the honey chicken tacos. We ask a waiter about them and they apparently hadn't even started making it and completely forgotten about it. Then when we asked about it and they made it, they only made one and it was cold even tho they had just made it. On top of all of that, it smelled absolutely awful and lime manure. read more

Wanted to love it. The margarita was premade out of a giant tub. It was 10 dollars which I would have expected it to be freshly made. My partner ordered a beer got the wrong one and a hard time about his out of state ID. Chips were undercooked and extremely greasy. A lot of children running around, they have a sign that kids aren't allowed after 7 but it was 730 and lots of little ones. I don't mind kids at all but I felt like the parents weren't watching the children and the kids were running around our table. read more
