My usual go to is Gold House. On the rare occasion they don't have it this is my second stop. It's ok - they're in the same family, offerings are different. Entering this store brings you into a store seemingly out of place here. It would look more at home in places like Dallas, Houston, Beverly Hills, very upscale. A great selection of higher end watches and jewelry. The inventory here is quality at a much different price point. But I found what I needed at a nice price. I cannot say enough about my experience at Diva Diamonds and Jewels. Mark and his team are some of the best in the business. I have shopped for fine jewelry all over the country and always go back to Diva. My sales person James Ray is accommodating, knowledgeable and always goes the extra mile with anything I need. I was shocked how bad my experience was at this store. I walked in behind another couple to see 3 employees looking at their personal phones. one looked up to greet the other couple and the other two continued to look at their phones and not speak to me. i waited patiently. finally, one employee looked up, clearly disinterested in helping and asked what he could do. i needed 2 links (that I have in hand) put back into my tag heuer watch. I collect watches, rolex, AP, etc and I'm familiar with what this should cost-$5-$20. Guess what this employee quoted me? $200. I clarified, $20 or $200? he repeated *twenty* dollars. This is just plain offensive. I do not recommend dealing with this kind of business and highly encourage you not to. businesses like this hurt the reputation of santa fe businesses. The worst experience I've ever had from the rudest man who was a bald head man today! I am Asian, I had my workout clothes on as I walked past the jewelry store, I saw the watches I've been looking for my dad and while waiting for my mom to text me back for a go ahead to purchase (which she did) - I asked to see the watches, the guy gave me a terrible attitude, he didn't want to show me the watches as he didn't want to "scratch it" by moving back and forth. Amazing store, you walk in and think you're in New York! They have the best selection of fine jewelry I have seen in Santa Fe. Stunning diamond jewelry including yellow and pink diamonds too. They have sapphire, ruby and emerald jewelry all in 18k white or yellow gold. They also have well known designers like Gucci, Roberto Coin, John Hardy, Jude Frances, etc. They carry watches also like Breitling and Hermes. The owner Mark Suleiman and the Manager Sam were very nice and friendly, they treated me and my parents like family while we shopped for a bracelet for my mom. They gave us a great deal on a gorgeous gold and diamond bangle. Another one of my family members is getting a custom ring designed for his fiancé from Diva Diamonds and they are going above and beyond to make exactly what he wants! Last night my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary in Santa Fe. My husband suggested we look for a pair of diamond earrings. We went into Diva diamonds. It was difficult to determine who the sales person was, a man sitting by the door, another guy in a T- shirt? I was looking for a specific style in an earring, another guy (Mark Suleiman-CEO) was called down from another store. In the meantime, I tried on a pair of earrings and I had difficulty removing them from my ears. The guy in the T-shirt comes over to help and begins making disgusting sexual innuendos about "popping me." On the second earring he helps to remove, he says it again "I get to pop you a second time". Honestly, I was so shocked and nervous I laughed it off and said to the T-dirt guy "your disgusting ." My husband and I asked Mark-CEO, if he could custom make an earring and his response to me "yeah, you and I could go down to the basement and make it together." Again I was so shocked, I laughed it off. I could hardly believe the mouths on these men! I was standing in a High end jewelry store in Santa Fe, being spoken to as if I was a street whore. I turned to my husband and said " we need to get out of here." There were four men to this older couple and I did not feel safe. There was a huge disconnect-what for them was playful chiding banter, was for me, degrading, insulting sexual harassment. As a local New Mexican, it dismays me to think, these merchants, are the face of our state capital. read more

Cannot imagine purchasing fine jewelry from anywhere but Diva. Why should I? As a client for many years, I have received customer service that far exceeded, time and time again, my expectations. Mark, Sam and Carmella have shown me pieces that I liked and helped me turn them into pieces I loved. Changing a ring into a pendant, a white gold necklace into yellow, lengthening a necklace and adding diamonds to yet another. Sam designed a stunning emerald ring for me and was able to fast-track the repair on my Rolex watch. My wish has been their command. Really. Every woman enjoys receiving compliments; my jewelry from Diva certainly brings them. By the way, I live in Dallas...last time I had lunch at Nordstrom (NorthPark), two different couples came over to admire my tanzanite & diamond pendant. As a watch enthusiast and collector, I'm always on the lookout for rare pieces to purchase. I went into this store and was excited to see the Patek Nautilus that I was looking for to purchase. When I asked the sales woman the prices she knew nothing. That's fine as even at the Rolex store they check the prices before telling you. But the real problem occurred when I asked to try on the watch, the sales woman quite arrogantly giggled and replied "only if you're seriously considering buying it." Right then and there my (very serious) intention to buy the piece completely evaporated. I don't tolerate sales people who treat their customers less than. While supply is very important and this store had a good supply of hard to find watches (hence earning at least 2 stars), service is much more important. I hope if management reads this they will use it as a training lesson for their staff. read more

I bought a diamond necklace in August that looked beautiful in the store. However, when you wear it, it flips over and looks like a gold bead necklace, which are the backs of the diamonds. When I called several weeks later, the young lady said that these necklaces always flip over when you move. If they had told me, I would not have bought it. They kindly told me I could exchange it, but I live 400 miles away, and that was the only thing I was looking for. They also said I could pick something out on the website to exchange, but if I don't like what I bought in person, why would I get something from the website? Just so disappointed, what I thought was the necklace of my dreams just makes me sad whenever I see it. Really feel like I wasted my money. Just wish they had taken it back when it was not what it seemed. read more
