Everyone has always been friendly, helpful and safe. I have to give a HUGE shout out to Ami!!!!!! She is so personable, understanding, patient and kind. I have had bad experiences in the past and she was able to give me the confidence in my abilities and helped me reach new levels!!! She also was great at finding some amazing creatures under the sea for us to see and experience. The value is worth every penny!!! They have everything you may need to dive! And they change out your tanks as you enjoy the ride from dive appt to the next. They even had drinks and snacks!!! You can pick different boat time and dive spots. Highly recommend. Easy to sign up. Easy to locate. Easy check in. Really nice boat with all equipment provided. Katie- our guide was professional and knowledgeable. We first did a wreck and saw 2 sharks and an eagle ray. During our surface interval we were lucky enough to see some dolphin and whales. Our second dive was as a reef where we saw 3 turtles and a giant moray and another eel. Alex, our captain, was amazing as well. Spoiled by having someone set up, change out, and clean up dive gear. We visited this stand while visiting Waikiki Beach. Convenient way to rent chairs and umbrellas as well as boogie boards and other equipment to enjoy your day at the beach. They also have other items you can rent as well as lessons you can purchase. Staff was always friendly and helpful. If renting the umbrella and chairs, the staff will either take you to some that are already on the beach and available or they'll place some on the beach for you. $25/hr for 2 chairs and an umbrella I think was the cost. read more

Had two great dives with Heather. We saw more turtles than we could count, and the octopus made a showing. What was most impressive was how the boat was able to accommodate open water divers, non-certified divers as well as snorkelers. We all had an amazing time on the water! I've done two dives with this company; most recently the Sea Tiger Wreck dive and last year the shallow reef dive. Both times were awesome! The Sea Tiger Wreck dive was recommended to me by a couple friends, and it did not disappoint! The best dive I've done in Oahu before and I've done 5 other dives. I never had an issue with my equipment and all the instructors were friendly and knowledgeable. I always felt safe and looked after. I also did my Sea Tiger Wreck dive solo and felt like they always included me and watched over me. They also pointed out whenever they saw something cool like the rainbow and a bunch of dolphins doing flips! In addition, I booked photographers both times and was pleased with the results! The shallow reef dive I went with a group of 4 and they turned out awesome, as did the time when I went solo. Shoutout to dive masters Miranda, Britney, photographer KC and Captain Max! Miranda was such a sweet, friendly and calming dive master. Probably one of the best dive masters I've dove with! All fantastic, which made for safe, fun dives. Single ladies should avoid this place for surf lessons. The men who work here foster an aggressive and toxic bro culture that was a little shocking. I paid upfront for my service and should have cancelled it in retrospect because it felt predatory. The guy who led the instruction session, Honna, was disrespectful and rude to me probably because he knew he couldn't take advantage of me. So he started overtly hitting on a woman I took lessons with. He has a playboy bunny neck tattoo and when we were out in the ocean he spent more time with the other girl because he was interested in her. She was in her twenties and was traveling internationally by herself. He even asked her to come back for special lessons. Going into the ocean is risky and it requires you to trust your instructor. These guys are clearly taking advantage of that. It made what should have been a memorable positive experience one I hope to forget. read more

We had planned to snorkel in the bay, but all reservations were taken And when we called, the park host suggested taking a snorkeling boat out to Turtle Bay with this company. We planned this and went out early on the 7am snorkeling tour. The team was welcoming and friendly. I was nervous at first because I have only snorkeled once, and not off a boat. Bethany was patient, knowledgeable, outgoing and a mermaid in the water! I can't say enough great things about her. I soon became comfortable and loved it! It was a 3 hour trip and we saw turtles and fish. It turned out to be a highlight of our trip! read more

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. My friend and I went and he was recently certified, but his certification wasn't coming up when he tried to retrieve it online. They had provided alternative options that still allowed us to dive together at the end of the day. The equipment for rent provided is also high quality and well maintained! I had brought my own regulators but was comfortable enough to use theirs. I did use my own personal mask instead. A short 3mm wetsuit is provided as well. The Boat staff was also very nice and friendly. Our boat captain was Nacho, and our dive master for the day was Dan, and both were knowledgeable and patient. Next time I visit Oahu, I will definitely schedule something with them again! read more

I had such an amazing time diving with this fantastic team! I was recommended to Dive Oahu by my best friend when I came to visit. I couldn't ask for a more professional, knowledgeable, and patient staff. It had been a few years since my last dive and I felt so safe with the safety checks and procedures everyone follows. My first day with them our captain, Matt took us to Cell Block C and Nautilus, around 40 feet. Thorner had an joyful, infectious attitude and Tiffany, our Dive Master was awesome! So much great sea life out there! My second day, Morgan was our Dive Master. She had so much passion and enthusiasm. She made sure we all had a great set of dives and was extremely professional. Our Captain that day was Lindsay, who did excellent work against some extra waves and had some fun convos about what we saw on our dives... moray eels, sharks, an eagle ray, and loads and loads of fish. I look forward to diving here again on my next trip. Would recommend over and over because the staff is so fantastic. read more

If you're an experienced diver, I would not recommend diving with Dive Oahu. Don't rent Nitrox, as they make you adhere to a regular air table. I've dove with them in the past many times. Never have I ever been cut off and told to ascend at 1100 PSI in my tank. I told the dive master, that I will ascend later, and was told no. I paid good money, not to be told to ascend when I have over 1/3 of my tank still. The whole staff was very condescending and rude to me, claiming I refused to listen. If you're an experienced diver, I would not recommend dive Oahu. They'll make you ascend with people who are just learning how to dive and treat you like you don't have any clue what you're doing. read more

Amazing group for two tank dive to Tiger Shark wreck and Horseshoe Reef. Eric as dive master and Jerry as boat captain were fantastic! One of the most peaceful and well run dives I've done! Worst experience in seven years of snorkeling. The majority of the crew was nice up until the point of providing instructions about the guidelines of snorkeling. For example in 7 years I have never heard of grabbing to a rope and having to follow the instructor to "his approved areas of snorkeling ". When asked about why this was not something explain prior to boarding, he said "that is how all snorkeling works". He then ropes the group of 9 people around the boat not even around the areas with fishes and continues to go in circles wasting the experience. Save yourself and do not go out with dive Oahu. I am going to request at least a partial refund as we saw only rocks and coral. Please ask before boarding about what the snorkeling trip entails to prevent this from repeating, especially if there is more than one person in your group. Remember do not snorkel with this company, anyone else is far more qualified than this team. read more

Went diving with Dive Oahu 3 times earlier this month on vacation. Very impressed with the fun yet professional atmosphere of the crew and dive guides, and the front office for accommodating me for a couple of the excursions made on short notice. I did a daytime shallow reef dive with 3 other family members who were snorkeling, who also had a great time. I also did a night dive and another wreck and reef dive later in the week. Captains Nacho, Jerry, and Matt were great along with Sammy, Shabd, and Eric guiding the dives. Saw lots of beautiful wildlife and explored the Sea Tiger, with excellent conditions all week. The boat was big, comfortable, and well equipped. If you're thinking about whether or not to rent equipment, they had pretty high end rental gear. Scubapro Hydros Pro BCDs and Scubapro regulators (didn't look close enough for the model). I'd definitely check them out if you're looking for an outfit to dive with. Mahalo! read more
