All of which I had been pleased with both pricing and quality. However, recently things went completely off the rails. The project started bad and ended awful. I got a call the day before the start saying we'd have a few days delay. Ok fine. I got a call later saying somebody would show up tomorrow. No one did. I got a call the next day saying they'd be there tomorrow. This time a guy showed up, said he needed to get some supplies, and never came back! Finally a guy came and tiled the shower and floors. Progress. Next, a crew came to do install the vanity. They left and never came back. Literally no one has come back to my house. And to make matters worse, Danny has completely ghosted me! Will not return my text. Will not return my calls. He was Johnny quick when it was time to collect the deposit. And now, nothing. It's bad enough that he took my money and left me high and dry. Our project was delayed months. When I finally scrambled to get a different contractor we found issues wrong with our cabinets. That's not their fault but given the delays we missed our return window. That's at least a couple more thousand dollars this company cost me. It has been an extremely frustrating experience apart from the money lost. We signed a contract. Never trust a company that doesn't honor it's own paperwork.

We didn't need to change or compromise on our wishes to suite what was easily available. He listened and didn't try to sell us on things we didn't want, just simply said that he would make it happen and he did. Mind you, we had already gone through 4 other contractors that said our plan was too difficult to pull off, or that it would be months before they could get what we wanted and tried to move us to options with a quick and easy turnaround time with many of the things we wanted left out. And ladies, I'm sure you can appreciate this, he didn't ask to meet with my husband (who works crazy hours and told me to manage the remodel) before agreeing working with me. I'm so over contractors asking me if my husband would be ok with this or that, or wanting to meet with him before sitting with me. He was very respectful, and didn't throw off any creepy vibes. Once the contract was signed and I had picked an installer to work with, the work began within days. Not weeks, not months, DAYS. One of the cabinets arrived with a little damage, and he had a new one ready to go by that afternoon. This is not my first rodeo, and typically when something is damaged, it takes a week or more for a claim to be processed, throwing the whole project and other trades behind. I was shocked! The installers he recommended were also great, and so professional! They worked with our plumber, flooring and countertop people to make sure everything went smooth. They were also so friendly as well as knowledgeable. They were clean and didn't act bothered when I asked questions and were very patient with me. I would highly recommended Chasen Cabinets when getting quotes! I'll be using them from here on out!

I'll know when it rains again. They also decided to use stark white caulking on a few cracked Terra Cotta tiles. That said, they took it upon themselves to remove two large 12' Mesquite Tree branches which overhang the roof exactly the way we liked it. The repair was easily done without doing so and they never consulted with us prior to deciding to make our home their very own. Worst of all, this is at the entrance to our house and we cherish the dramatic entrance above many other aspects of our home. This was unprofessional and unacceptable. It will force me to trim other branches to balance the destroyed tree. Thanks "Wild West". Next time, don't be so wild with other's property.
