My experience with Divine was disappointing. The decor pieces were in poor condition, and several important details were overlooked. Communication was lacking throughout the entire process. I Was completely new to Houston and obviously the wedding planning scene here-- Of course there were so many options when it came to finding a decorator and planning partner, but I can't tell you how happy I am to have done my events with Divine. I think it's so important to work with people who actually care about you, not just how the event looks. From planning to executing, this team was so diligent, thoughtful and kind. I truly looked forward to each meeting and felt like I didn't have to give much direction-- they just understood. In terms of the output, you do not have to worry about a single thing. Just trust that your event is going to look absolutely phenomenal and that you'll get taken care of. I know I'm not having another wedding but I would use Divine any chance I get in life. They are by far my favorite vendors and the absolute best. Stop looking and book with them!! read more

I have had a really bad experience with divine decor. If you are about to get married please please stay away from this STRESS that this company gives to you. My fiancé had been back and fourth dealing with divine to get the quote for our wedding. The response time from them is very slow and they will take days and days to respond to you. We went in person on the 16th July for our first consultation, and got the first quote on August 2nd. We didn't get a quote from them for 17 days. No response then i had to go and email them multiple times again. After this we finally got a reply. Taking out 5 centerpieces took them 4 days to get back to us. This is clearly a lack of communication and they don't have any value to your time and how stressful booking vendors is. This really showed me that we could take our time and we wouldn't be penalized for not replying in one day. I received a quote last Tuesday and on Thursday k am receiving an email saying we can't accommodate your event anymore. I don't understand how we had been talking since a month and we were barely getting responses and by the time we got our quote someone else slot was filled. They have this policy that it takes them 4-5 days during peak season for a reply which i was NOT aware of until after i was told they can't do my event. so BE AWARE they took such a long time to reply and that's perfectly fine on there opinion. Very unprofessional and will tell u at the last moment that they can't do your event. They have no accountability at response time back to there clients. I would not work with them and do no recommend. Very stressful and just not worth it. They take forever to respond. read more

I have had such a bad experience with divine decor. I would really not advise anyone to work with divine. They don't care about anyone time and they think it is okay to take as long as they need to respond to their clients. They lacked communication and at the end told us we couldn't book with them. They took over 15 days to respond to send us our quote and eventually would always reply to us 4-5 days after any email my daughters fiancé sent. Since they were taking there time to respond to our emails we didn't think we would only get 1 day until our slot was "booked". They finally sent us a contract and then we found out after a day and a half that we could no longer book with them. We had been going back and fourth all of August and were very serious with booking divine. Right before 3 months of my daughters wedding we are left without a decorated. Be careful when working with them because they don't care about the clients time. They think it's okay for them to take there sweet time but when it comes to there end they can take multiple days and weeks to respond. I would not recommend anyone to work with them unless they want to be left very stressful at the end. read more

We were working with Saman, she took over 2 weeks to give us a quote after our first in person consultation, and then another 4 weeks to update 2 lines in that quote. I had a relatively small event and not a lot of stuff since added. Then takes another 3-4 days to send the contract which is the exact same thing as the quote and it takes her that long, then emails that they can't do my event because theyre booked now in less that 48 hours from sending the contract. I've Reached out for an event for Jan 2023, 6 months in advance not the best to work with, super slow to respond, Only communicates through email, no phone. No deadline, no warning, no update. Wasted a lot of time, and left us in an awkward spot. Selfish people that only care about money, they can make us wait as long as they please, no respect for other peoples time, these people have no ethics. read more

I planned my entire wedding myself without the help of a coordinator and Divine Decor made the decoration portion of that SOO easy. I literally sent them inspo pictures, with a general theme and they walked me through the entire process bit by bit. Everything turned out super elegant and beyond my imagination. The team is responsive, easy to work with, and extremely talented. This was the best decision for me, and I'd recommend them to anyone! read more

BEWARE BEFORE BOOKING, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS VENDOR FOR ANY BRIDE THAT WANTS PEACE OF MIND!!! If I could give this vendor zero stars, I would have! I wish I could write everything that went wrong with this company, but it would probably take me days because it was honestly all terrible and by far the absolute WORST vendor experience when planning my wedding but I will sum it up as best I can. I contacted this company back in February for my October wedding and to start off they have THE WORST communication out of any shop I contacted. I literally had to contact them over 10 times and never got a response, then had my now husband contact them via instagram and it took them over a week to call us back after saying they'd call the next day. Even when they contacted us back, they never followed up despite my multiple emails. Then in May, they told me they were booked and couldn't do it anymore. Despite their rude and lack of communication, I really loved their decor photos and wanted to use them, so I tried to look past it. But not until I hired a wedding planner just for the decor did they respond claiming they could now do it. They then set us up a meeting where they promised us the moon and that they could fulfill everything we wanted within our budget (mind you I made a 7 page pdf slideshow of everything I wanted with photos from their instagram so that there wouldn't be any confusion) They gave us a quote after a week or so and when we wanted to book and asked for an itemized invoice, we Come to find out the quote did not include ANYTHING we had asked for and when we argued with them about it, they said they'd think about it and let us know. When it came down to a few weeks before the wedding, we really needed an answer from them and instead of letting us know a month before the wedding when we first brought up the issue, they completely ignored us for 2 weeks, basically washed their hands of the situation and left us high and dry with no florist just 2 weeks before the wedding. We even offered to pay the higher price quote given our time restraints but they didn't care whatsoever and said they wouldn't do it even for the higher price quote (which was thousands not hundreds higher) This company strung us a long for monthsssss and then COMPLETELY screwed us over in the end. Despite their instagram showing beautiful decor, I would NEVER recommend or even look at this company twice after what they did to us with absolutely zero remorse or care for clients. If you're in the wedding business, you should understand the high amount of stress every bride is under and for them to do this to a couple literally 14 days before the wedding truly shows the terrible character of this company and total lack of care for clients. If You don't want a GINORMOUS heartache and headache just days before your wedding, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere no matter how much you love their decor photos!!! However, once you pay the deposit and are locked in, your business will no longer be valued. Once the deposit was received, communication from her end completely stopped. I had to continuously reach out to her for questions and concerns and I would not hear back for weeks. There were only several weeks left until my wedding and I STILL did not hear from her to finalize the decor options and details. The entire time, she was dragging her feet and when time came to finalize everything, she went back on everything we agreed to during the initial consultation. To gain business from people based on lies and false pretenses is completely unethical and distasteful. Needless to say, we had a very bad experience with this company. Everything from communication, honesty, transparency, customer service and professionalism was absolutely terrible. Save yourself the stress and take your hard earned money elsewhere. read more
