I heard about Brilliant Bridal at the bridal expo in October at George R. Brown. I had zero expectations upon going in to my appointment, but ended up walking out with my dress! PJ was my consultant and she did an amazing job of assisting me throughout the entire process. She spoke with me and my guests before we picked out and started trying on dresses, assisting me with trying on, accommodated my guests, and was a joy to work with! My dress is a Allure, with beautiful fine detailing throughout. After trying on many dresses, I was excited that this dress had all the things I loved from the previous dresses I tried on. The area we used was semi-private so even though others were at their appointments, it felt like we were the only ones there. I love that we didn't feel cramped. Overall, a great selection of off-the-rack dresses! And since I made my appointment at the bridal expo, I received 20% off, which greatly helps with wedding planning. Note - Brilliant Bridal is off-the-rack, so if you find your dress, you take it home same day. They do not do in house alterations, but gave me a list of about a dozen tailors/seamstresses they have worked with and recommend. read more

Super nice and clean bridal store! The attendant for my friend was courteous, patient, helpful, and seemed honest with her feedback when the bride-to-be asked. She had an appointment (her second appointment). We brought champagne to sip on while she worked up a sweat trying on numerous gowns! I love that they have fans in the dressing rooms! Let me just say; Sydney is literally my favorite person. From the second we walked in, the entire team made me feel so welcomed. Everyone wanted to see my ring, hear about the proposal, and talk wedding plans and it never felt salesy or forced. It felt genuine. Not a "please buy your dress from us" vibe, but a "we want you to feel as beautiful as you already are" vibe. This was my very first day ever dress shopping, so I truly didn't think I'd find the dress. I always wondered what that moment would feel like -knowing you've found the one- and somehow... I did. It's true, when you know, you really do just know. I still decided to check out another shop "just in case," but it only confirmed what I already felt. The other store made me feel like I was at a car dealership, like my body needed to fit the dress instead of the dress fitting me. So there I was, sitting in the dressing room of the other shop half an hour away, calling Brilliant Bridal 30 minutes before they closed, asking if there was any chance I could come back. I showed up 10 minutes after closing and every single one of them stayed for me. They let me try my dress on one more time and gave me the full "are you saying yes to the dress?" experience. Staff asked if we wanted to set an appointment, we let her know I was looking for something with sleeves and she told me to go look on Harwin Dr as that might be more in my price range. Brilliant bridal was literally a wonderful experience. I made an appointment online for Saturday. Running 30 minutes behind, they kindly move my appointment to noon. Showed up and K, was the wonderful lady who helped me. I believe her name was keira but I may be misspelling it. She sat me down and asked me some questions about the ceremony. The customer service is horrible and I never made it to my appointment. I scheduled my wedding dress evenot in January with all my details for my date and my guests. I was contacted a day before my event via text message that accommodations would not be available for my day and time. I approached the situation letting the staff member who was messaging me via text know that it was inappropriate and inconsiderate for the establishment. She proceeded to inform me that a call was made 4 days prior. This lack of professionalism left me without an appointment to view and purchase my wedding gown scrambling to find another venue at the very last minute.
