Shopping for a bridal gown should be a positive experience. Not this place. We had an 11:30 appointment...paid for the whole "experience" mimosa bar and such. Apparently this place doesn't know how to manage time. Our company party showed up on time...only to wait 30 minutes because our "stylist" was with another party. Once we finally got "our turn" we were rushed-because we had another appointment this afternoon. The place is loud-other customers were screaming with excitement (I get it...but...). Unprofessional is the best description. If you are looking to wait-(even though you had an appointment at a certain time) don't mind subpar dresses (one of the options had a rip in it) and spending thousands on a dress...this is your place. If you want a more professional experience where the boutique actually listens to your choices go somewhere else. This isn't the place for you...it's seriously a joke. I am extremely disappointed and frankly frustrated with the handling of my appointment by your bridal shop. I received a call moments ago informing me that although I was the first to book my appointment for this Saturday, I am now being asked to move my time to 1:30 PM due to the size of my party. This is incredibly upsetting. If I secured my appointment first, I do not understand why I am the one being asked to adjust rather than accommodating later bookings accordingly. That decision feels both unfair and dismissive of my time and planning. What makes this even more disheartening is that I have family, including my aunt, traveling in from out of town specifically for this appointment. Receiving this type of notice on a Thursday afternoon leaves me with virtually no reasonable opportunity to secure another bridal salon that can accommodate us on such short notice. This experience has been deeply frustrating and has added unnecessary stress to what should be a very special and meaningful moment in my wedding journey. Horrible experience. Dress is past the delivery date and have been trying to get the dress that is supposedly ready shipped for the past two weeks. When we call we are told they are the only one in the store and they need a manager and will call tomorrow this has happened 4 times and not a single call back. It was a great experience in the shop but if you actually want your dress for the event stay far far away from this shop the customer service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. The best bridal shop in the Houston area! From the start of the appointment I felt like Mandy was listening to me and really helping me find the best dress for my wedding. Mandy went above and beyond during my bridal appointment and I could not have done it without her! The prices were definitely reasonable and the dresses were high quality. I am going to recommend this bridal salon to so many people in the future! The only negative I had with this bridal shop was the lack of sizes. They had a ton of the dresses in smaller sizes below a size 8 and it did make it hard to envision the dress that did not fit correctly. I really hope they make a change in the future to include more dress sizes above a size 8. This was my first ever bridal dress appointment. No one greeted me or even smiled when I walked in for my appointment. My stylist was not helpful with explaining different dresses. After 50 minutes (each appointment is 90 minutes) I asked to try on more dresses and she had to "check" if I had time to do so. I really wish I didn't go here at all because it made me dread my subsequent appointments at other Houston bridal shops, which all ended up being incredibly better than Vivienne. The layout is not private at all, and you can hear every word from the party next to you. The dress selection here pales in comparison with other shops as well. I would not recommend this shop, especially for your first bridal dress appointment. The dresses range from $2-$5k, and I found that the value did not match with the quality compared to dresses at other shops. read more

I'm in town to see my mom and wanted to get some wedding items checked off. I chose Vivienne because of their easy appointment process. I booked my appt on Wed 2/26 at 9 PM for Sat 3/1 at 12 PM. It's a great boutique with friendly folks all around! I went with the Champagne Upgrade because I had a group of 5 people, including myself. We had our own space, with bubblies and charcuterie. Miranda was my stylist and she helped me pick my dress. I didn't have a clue on what I wanted. Miranda made the experience really effortless. She took her time explaining the different styles and showed me all the fun details. She made sure we narrowed down the silhouette before we looked into different patterns / lace / beading. She answered all my questions and was so patient, even after I said yes... just to change my mind 2 minutes later I ended up with the most gorgeous gown and the best part is it'll be shipped to the Los Angeles location for easy pick up! 10/10 would recommend Miranda to help you find the dress of your dreams! read more

I visited Houston from out of state and booked an appointment at Vivienne Atelier Bridal online. I came in to try on wedding dresses as I heard Houston was a huge bridal hub. I wrote a review six months ago before receiving my dress, but my opinion has changed since then. Two weeks before my wedding, I finally got my dress, and things took a turn for the worse. I was hopeful everything would be perfect, but when I rushed to the store to try it on, major details were completely wrong. My long sleeves were detachable, even though I explicitly requested non-detachable sleeves months ago. The overskirt was only a half skirt, not the full skirt I wanted. All these issues needed to be fixed through alterations. Despite these errors, they barely offered any discount, blaming past employees for the mistakes. This dress, which cost over $5,000, ended up totaling over $8,000 after alterations. The place they recommended (which I used) for alterations was exorbitantly priced, adding to the chaos and expense of my bridal experience. I have recommended so many people to this place, because my dress was so beautiful before I received it, but now my opinion has changed drastically because my dress was not how it was supposed to be.
