High-quality, professional staff selling high-quality doors. A little pricey, but probably made up for in quality and service.

Fox Brothers installed the siding on our new home in 2005. Last month we had to replace all of the…read morewooden trim on the exterior, the Tyvek wrap under the trim, and the OSB wood under the Tyvek wrap due to the improper installation of the Z-flashing. The Z-flashing wasn't installed with any type of end damn which caused water to pour behind the exterior wood. I called Fox Brothers and spoke to Bob at the Hartland location who is apparently a service manager. He made several excuses including "that's industry standard...we don't get paid a lot to do these new construction jobs....it's the builders fault the house wasn't wrapped better..it's hard to get good workers to do the job, etc., etc. My next door neighbor just paid $5,500 to have the same thing repaired on his home where the aluminum trim wasn't installed properly. Two independent repair contractors have told us that Fox Brothers did not install the Z-flashing properly which caused extensive water damage. In the end, Bob shrugged his shoulders and said "well, your house is 12 years old, there is nothing we can do for you." See the attached photos on Google review. All the rotting starts right where the end dams on the Z-flashing are missing.

I've seen a review on here complaining about wood damage on a 12 year old house, and I just want to say that's to be expected. That's why no one uses wood trim on the exterior anymore. If you put wood trim on your house, it will rot unless you're re-caulking and repairing every other year. A lot of the systems used for house wraps and waterproofing have evolved a TON since the first days of vinyl siding. I remodel for a living, and I can say every house we work on that has vinyl over 10+ years old has some water damage. It's vinyl. I expect that current systems of house and window wraps will out perform those of 10-20 years ago, but only time will tell. If you want guaranteed longevity go with a quality lap siding like Hardie panels and do the maintenance. Don't knock fox bros because of an industry wide issue. Methods for waterproofing have changed and fox bros are as current as the best out there. Keep in mind that any installer is as only as good as the product the homeowners purchase.

This is the worse apartment I have ever leased…read more The water is disgusting!! My hair and skin will never be the same. All tenants told me to NOT USE THIS WATER!! There is little if any insulation. The cold permeates the entire 500+square feet. The slightest wind blows through outdated windows some of which are cracked with missing glass pieces. The parking area is either a dust bowl or mud pie. It is dangerous and I was told if I wanted the sidewalk to the apartment door cleared of snow the tenants would have to "get off their fat asses" and do it themselves. The owner is seemingly a personable guy who is eager to take your money with little return. Not a slum lord but most certainly a crum-lord. After being questioned about outrageous electric bills for 6 months he lied straight to the face of a women who was battling breast cancer that her high electric was due to the refrigerator when in fact, her electric was also feeding the hot water heater which supplied 5 apartments including all the outside lights for the building itself. After being found out he took over the electric but now keeps the hot water just about room-temperature. I still have not received a lease signed by him even though I have sent in my copy early September. The caretaker takes being slacker to a whole other level. Lots of blah, blah, blah with little action. I count down the months until I am outa here. If you are a complete drunk you would do well here. Afterall, WHO CARES?!!!
