The Lowes staff informed us they would call us the following week to keg us know we we could stop in to pick it up. That week came and went no call from Lowes. So the following monday we called and were told it was in that we could stop by to pick up our order. We made special arrangements by borrowing a truck to get he snow blower home only to get there and no one knew what we were taking about. They told us it should be in at the end of the week that they would call us. Again no call. At this point we are wondering did they even order it for us? We had already paid for the item a month prior. Finally we called they told us it was in and that we could get it that night. We get up to the register and the check out girl seemed annoyed that she had to help. All around not a great impression of the store. We will not be back anytime soon!

This store should be ashamed of themselves. On a Saturday there is absolutely sparse staffing…read more Waiting over 42 minutes for customer service is outrageous. Store manager clearly is nowhere to be found. I would never start a project with this particular Lowe's store and I encourage others to shop elsewhere. Lowe's really needs to step up their game as they are really behind on any type of service. There are so many other quality home improvement stores. I recommend you to visit others.

Last month we had to replace all of the…read morewooden trim on the exterior, the Tyvek wrap under the trim, and the OSB wood under the Tyvek wrap due to the improper installation of the Z-flashing. The Z-flashing wasn't installed with any type of end damn which caused water to pour behind the exterior wood. I called Fox Brothers and spoke to Bob at the Hartland location who is apparently a service manager. He made several excuses including "that's industry standard...we don't get paid a lot to do these new construction jobs....it's the builders fault the house wasn't wrapped better..it's hard to get good workers to do the job, etc., etc. My next door neighbor just paid $5,500 to have the same thing repaired on his home where the aluminum trim wasn't installed properly. Two independent repair contractors have told us that Fox Brothers did not install the Z-flashing properly which caused extensive water damage. In the end, Bob shrugged his shoulders and said "well, your house is 12 years old, there is nothing we can do for you." See the attached photos on Google review. All the rotting starts right where the end dams on the Z-flashing are missing.

I've seen a review on here complaining about wood damage on a 12 year old house, and I just want to say that's to be expected. That's why no one uses wood trim on the exterior anymore. If you put wood trim on your house, it will rot unless you're re-caulking and repairing every other year. A lot of the systems used for house wraps and waterproofing have evolved a TON since the first days of vinyl siding. I remodel for a living, and I can say every house we work on that has vinyl over 10+ years old has some water damage. It's vinyl. I expect that current systems of house and window wraps will out perform those of 10-20 years ago, but only time will tell. If you want guaranteed longevity go with a quality lap siding like Hardie panels and do the maintenance. Don't knock fox bros because of an industry wide issue. Methods for waterproofing have changed and fox bros are as current as the best out there. Keep in mind that any installer is as only as good as the product the homeowners purchase.
