I had one spring bad and they replaced both and took my good spring with them which makes me wonder if I didn't get someone's used spring. I thought they were expensive also but I needed it done so I was stuck. I knew it was a spring because we had them replaced before and you could see it but they wouldn't give you an estimate until they got there. I'm not a fan of being at someone's mercy.

He was there at 2:20! He gave me an estimate over the phone, which I verbally approved. When I got home at 4:15, the door was repaired and he had a new remote control for me. He showed me what he did to repair it. I paid with my Visa the exact amount he quoted me, and he drove away. I was very happy with the service from start to finish. The phone was answered by a real person who exhibited kindness and professionalism. She told me the technician's name, and I could see his photo on the website. They do background checks and drug testing of their employees. The technician was early, in uniform, and very professional. I am very pleased.

What should have been a simple garage door job turned into a ridiculous number of problems, return visits, and time I had to take away from work. First, they tore down my weather stripping even though they were NOT supposed to touch it. While doing that, they scratched up the aluminum around my garage door. They then had to come back to replace the weather stripping and repair the aluminum they damaged. When they replaced the aluminum, they installed the WRONG COLOR, so I had to schedule ANOTHER appointment for them to come back and fix their mistake. Then the garage door started making noises, came off the track, and almost fell. Yet again, I had to arrange another service call to have them come out and fix it. As if all of that wasn't frustrating enough, they also completely NO-SHOWED for one of my scheduled appointments. I rearranged my schedule and made myself repeatedly available for appointments--all of which were only necessary because of their own mistakes. After all of these issues, I asked for a reasonable adjustment to my bill. Considering the damage they caused, incorrect repairs, repeated service calls, no-show, and the amount of my time that was wasted, I don't think that was an unreasonable request. Instead, I was extremely disappointed with their response and lack of accountability. One mistake is understandable. This wasn't one mistake. It was problem after problem after problem. When you hire and pay a professional company, you shouldn't have to repeatedly take time off work so they can come back and correct damage or mistakes from previous visits. I gave them multiple opportunities to make things right and I was extremely kind and patient throughout it all. She waited and waited, no updates on installation. She called several times for updates. First explanation was tech who measured failed to turn order in. Then in June they came out to install and found measurements were off so they had to remeasure and reorder. Again she has called several times for updates and receptionist keeps putting her off and says they haven't heard anything from manufacturer. My Mother in law asks to talk to her supervisor for explanation or ask for refund and those guys are always in a meeting. No call backs. It is now September, last time she was told it would be around Labor Day. She called today and was told they still do not have a date. She requested a refund and receptionist was rude to her and told her she needs to talk to supervisor. You would think someone would call her back. Something is very fishy. Maybe need to get a lawyer to get her money back.
