Looking at the bad reviews, I almost wanted to keep this place my little secret so it won't get booked. However, Nancy was great and I need to give credit where it's due. Overpriced services. There is an extra charge for every thing. You will leave wondering if you just got robbed or scammed. I've been coming to this place for about a year now, but their prices and random charges made me look for a different place. They need to recognize that they have competition and there is a nail salon in every shopping center around here. I was charged $10 extra for the time it took to remove the polish and repaint TWO nails in addition to other laughable charges like $5 for filing my nails, and $10 for using 3 basic colors, $20 for the gel nail polish PLUS the base price for an acrylic refill. Total abuse! On top of that, I asked for a third coat of color because I could see my nail through the color, and the lady kept saying that it wasn't necessary and simply didn't do it. Yes, the place is clean and the decoration is beautiful. But, I'm not going to pay for decoration and cleanliness is expected. Also, listen to your customers and stop giving fake compliments to customers for higher tips. Just be genuine and do a great job and you will be tipped accordingly. I almost forget, stop complaining about the customer you have in front of you with the other ladies in whatever language you speak. It is rude. read more

I took my daughter to get her nails done, and the experience was terrible. We clearly asked for a regular full set, but they kept pushing her to do gel. The technician did a poor job and blamed my daughter, saying it looked bad because she didn't choose gel. I had to ask for a different technician, and they even tried to overcharge us for gel. Update: the resolve was I come in and get it redone (you know drive another 30 minutes one way a third time) or she refunded me the service only ($35). After a firm for 10 minutes, it was no longer worth my time. Jessica didn't want to listen. She kept saying I'm complaining about "insert complaint I did not have...". I came here because the work was good even though I knew they were overpriced for our area. I've spent thousands at this shop since 2020 and always came with cash tip at least 20%. We won't be back. I used to love this shop. Some techs in here are fabulous. Management on the other hand is awful. I went Tuesday and paid $70 with a $15 tip for ombré red long stiletto nails. I walked out happy. Until a day later the edge of one started lifting. By Thursday, three were lifting. I called Friday and Jessica told me to just walk in. When asking her the best time to come since I was limited on time, she hung up on me. So I came in and waited 30 minutes. During the 30 minutes, two employees and Jessica came over. Jessica pressed on my nails and they came up even more. They tried to just glue them down. I told them they had to fix the correctly. One tech told me it's be another 30 minute wait. I said I couldn't wait and asked Jessica what my other options were. She said "we are all busy we can't help you." I asked if I could come back Saturday or Sunday and she said I could come back tomorrow (Saturday). Never once did she say "come back before blank time". I walked out when she continuously claimed she never hung up on me. Its Saturday and I have 4 nails left. I show up at 6:42. My spouse worked and I had the kids. So I couldn't come any earlier. I walked into the shop, the "open" sign was on. I didn't realize they closed at 7. I've come here plenty near close and they still get me in. I wait 15 minutes and they tell me they can't help me. I need to come back tomorrow. What? That's a joke. I live 30 minutes away and I've now driven here two more times in the last 5 days than I should have. I won't be able to go back Sunday because my spouse works until after they close. I'll update when management finds a resolution. Save your energy, time and money and find a better shop. read more

I was hesitant to go in based on reviews, but decided to take a chance as I needed a dip manicure done asap. I was greeted at door and didn't have to wait. The nail tech was very receptive to what I wanted done, as well as very thorough. My dip manicure went well. I do think the price was a little high. It's on par with my usual spot, which also serves wine and other beverages. This place did not offer a beverage. The ambiance was nice - liked the "luxe" mirrors on the well, calming music and plants. She used a really nice smelling lotion when done. Today I pointed to the INSIDE of my big toes and asked to clean a bit more that side because i had a pinching sensation. For no reason she makes a deep cut on the OUTSIDE, I start bleeding, I was hurting, I told her to stop and she went in 2 more times. Now, it hurts so much that I cannot wear closed shoes. Please do not go here. I went to this location, came in as a walk-in. Told them I wanted a gel manicure and pedi, they said it was fine. Proceeded to have me sit at the spa chair and decided to soak my feet for an entire hour before someone was able to start my pedicure. They did that because they were booked, but didn't want me to leave. Then told me they did not have time to do my manicure. I was extremely upset, and Jessica was completely rude and nasty. I have been giving Divine business for a while but I just need to stop; it's always the same and it's not great. My friend likes to go there so I went with her today and I got a pretty bad acrylic set. I asked for the set to be short and I had to ask her repeatedly to keep cutting the tips which is frustrating. Then came the color tip issue; the tip is so thick and the line is so rough and unclear. And to top it all off, the acrylic powder is so lumpy!! My nails look completely insane. Decided to try them out since I am new to the area and I went in for a gel pedicure and it was fine so I decided to come back another day to get dip and it took way too long and it seems like they don't do it correctly like other salons. I've tried this salon 3 times to give it a fair shot. Every single time I've had frustrating experiences that have included: -the technician cutting my cuticles to the point they bleed. -I've been charged for a pedicure service more expensive than what I explicitely chose and explained I wanted. It's a complete scam. You choose a particular service, the technician does whatever she wants and charges you double in the end. -I had to request multiple times for my nails to be filed in order to look even. If you're into torture and horrible customer service, this is your place! I went in on Thursday for dip powder manicure. The technician told me that it takes a long time to soak them off so I should get a pedicure while they soak. It was pushy but I'm always down for a pedicure. Next, she moved on to the nails. There was much conversation and calling over coworkers once she realized that the previous color that she failed to fully remove was blending with the new color and causing issues. It was lumpy, discolored, uneven and I had some square nails and some rounded. She continued to file it off and start over, removing more and more of my nails (which are real). After conversing again with a co-worker (in Vietnamese), she stated "I feel bad. These look awful. Come back and I will do them for free." The technician sitting next to her then repeated this to me (maybe thinking I did not understand with her accent). I explained that I had to get a babysitter to do so and would need to know which days she was available. She told me to come Thursday, Friday or Saturday (over a week away) and she would fix them for free. I agreed that I would come back (because they really did look awful). As I was checking out she stated that she felt bad letting me leave looking that way and that she was only going to charge for the pedicure and dip removal. Cool. I told her I would see her next week to have them fixed, left her a hefty tip, and left. Fast forward to the following Friday. Made an appointment with her, got a sitter and went in. I met her at the front and she clarified that she would fix them for me. I got a pedicure again but the previous one looked as bad as the nails did. When she got to my nails so was so aggressive that I had blood actually roll off of my finger at one point. When I went to pay for the pedicure and her tip, one of the managers was at the counter. Suddenly she told me the total was $79; pedicure, dip removal and new nails. When I reminded her what she had said she whispered, wait for it.... "I changed my mind." I reminded her wait she had said and she said a few more times that she had changed her mind because she spent time on them. At that point I said "forget it, I'll just make sure to write a review". Suddenly then the manager stepped up. She quickly said something to him in Vietnamese. He told me I had obviously misunderstood her and that my total was $79. When I attempted to explain what had occurred he said "I don't need to hear it. She already told me." Every time I tried to speak he would cut me off. I told him that he should clarify with either of the people sitting next to her station who both heard the scenario and were there both days. He refused to do so. I then told him I would have to go get my credit card from the car because I did not have enough cash. At which point he requested that I leave my purse so that I don't try to leave! I retrieved my card and paid and he continued to harass me, saying "why would she ever say that. You were confused." If I could rate this place a -10000 I would. DO NOT GO HERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. All these 1 star reviews are extremely accurate, and there are too many nail salons in the area to be desperate enough to come here. Don't even get me started on JESSICA(Manager/Owner), she is rude, unprofessional, and a con artist. I came in for my scheduled appt with Viet (who is awesome, and the only reason I come here) that I had scheduled 1 month in advance. They don't tell me he's not working until 20 mins into my appointment, and me just sitting there waiting thinking he's just running behind in the back. I was going out of town the next day for the wedding, so I was desperate to get my nails done at that point. They seat me with an available nail technician, she was sweet, but rushed my service and didn't do a good job on my nails. Even though I was frustrated with my experience and disliked my nails, I still paid and didn't cause a scene. When I called to speak with Jessica to request a $50 gift card she was unapologetic and wanted to throw it back on me stating "If I've been seeing Viet for over a year, I should know his schedule". I have never paid $80 for such little service. I did not ask for anything extra (aside from gel) and was given the most expensive "full set" without even knowing. I questioned the pricing and the gentleman at the desk just kept reading me the receipt. I just wanted clarification on what it was that I received because what I got was extremely basic. Apparently no one speaks english because when you ask them for something they just stare at you, and they cant figure out what hot water is since the first few times I went here they continued to make my water freezing cold until I figured out how to do it myself (until I found my old manicurist from another salon, Tom, was here working and from now on I only go to him). ... The only two people I have found to be worth while there is Tommy and Gabby, they seem to be the only two who care how their work is done and take pride in doing it right. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews on this place. I came here yesterday instead of my usual place, Tokyo, and couldn't have been more impressed. To start things off the salon is beautiful, and I like how they have a front desk lady who speaks English. It just makes things easier and it's way more professional then someone yelling at you from there work station. I went and got a medi/pedi and I thought Amy did a nice job. Also she offered to get me a drink if I wanted which I thought was nice. Also the pedicure chairs are top notch. So good! As a regular at Divine Nail Spa, I felt compelled to post something for these ladies. They do a bang up job every time and treat my mom and I well. The salon is clean and well kept with complimentary drinks (water, coffee, tea and wine) and a paraffin wax treatment with request. Well decorated, with reasonable prices and a vast selection of colors (regular and gel) I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a regular spot. Heidi in particular, did a great job on my nails tonight, as I requested a special design with shellac. Horrible experience. I've gone their multiple times and have only really loved one of their nail artist. Unfortunately she quit. I asked for this butterfly photo and the nail tech told me she could do it half way through she laughed and said "no can do it" frustrated I asked if someone else can do it. (I am a patient person. She was rough and I didn't like how anything was looking) she told me it would be an HOUR wait for someone else so I said you know what I'll pick something else out. For nails I didn't want. They charged me $65 for acrylics that I didn't even get. $10 for a nail design that I also did not get. And $10 for the Take off of the nails that SHE MESSED UP ON. I love this place and have been going here for about 4 years now every two weeks. Vivian always does an amazing job! When Vivian isn't there, Alicia does my nails and just does amazing as well. The owner is so welcoming and makes the salon feel warm with her incredible decorating skills. I'm surprised at the complaints on here. Tips for going to a salon - make an appointment. Even if you are going that day, call and find out when the best time is for you to go. I've been doing this and I'm always taken care of on time and right away. I probably wouldn't go to a salon 10 minutes before closing without an appointment and demand full service. Final tip, don't be afraid to speak up if you don't like something before you leave. Went here on a recommendation bc I hadn't gotten my nails done in years... I got a full set, French tips with gel. I asked for a design, and the girl who did my nails went and asked another girl to do that part. I asked her to do some palm or banana leaves on my ring fingers and thumbs and the girl seemed really hesitant as if i was asking for something super complicated. The full set was $55, and I expected an extra charge for the design but I did not realize there was an extra charge for the white plastic tips vs the clear ones, and an extra charge to shape my nails bc I wanted them in the coffin shape. It cost me $79 total and I tipped $16 so I paid nearly $100. I haven't been to a nail salon in a long time but that seems really steep to me. I see ladies with amazing nail designs and then I go to a salon and they act like painting a leaf was too difficult... it was super discouraging and I won't return here for my fill-ins. read more

I was unimpressed with the way that I was treated at Divine Nail Spa. I couldn't help but notice how differently I was treated compared to other customers. After walking in, I was asked to write my name down and wait for an available technician. Other women who were waiting were frequently being checked on and had the wait explained to them thoroughly within minutes of sitting down. Meanwhile, no technician came to check on me. I sat there for approximately 10 minutes without anyone saying a word to me. I understand that some may view this as a small or insignificant complaint, but as a customer, I believe that I should've been treated in the same fashion as the other people in the facility, especially if I'm paying for a service. I kindly left and took my business elsewhere. I was in no rush, so I could've waited but it didn't feel right in my spirit to pay for horrible customer service, especially when there are MANY nail salons in the area that I know will treat me in the way that I deserve to be treated when I'm paying for a service. read more

I had the most horrific experience here before Christmas! I went back in just days after having Shellac put on my nails because it started to crack and fall off.. For $34 (+tip) it should last more than 3-4 days.. When I walked in, the initial woman was apologetic and stated that my nails would be fixed.. Easy enough... The woman began to work on my nails..they were super long and manicured.. After soaking off the Shellac, my nails were butchered! I had sores and cuts all over my hands.. ALL of my fingernails were down to the skin and hurting.. The woman asked me to wash my hands and then disappeared.. I asked to borrow a nail file to fix my own nails that were crooked, jagged and were all uneven.. Then a nasty nail tech named ALICIA came out to "finish" my nails.. She began slamming things on the desk and was clearly in a bad mood because her "iPhone texting time" was interrupted.. She didn't say a word to me the entire time.. And was literally man handling my hands as she ranted in her language.. Prior to ALICIA doing my nails, when I first arrived.. She was arguing with another customer.. She should be FIRED! Here goes the Shellac.. She did the crappiest job EVER! My hands and cuticles were covered in Shellac and she was going to let me leave like that. I politely asked if she was going to clean up the mess she made.. And she boldly stated "No".. And we began to argue.. She blamed me for the crappy shellac job.. Not sure how it was my fault.. I have been coming here for years. I started at the original location getting pedicures and the. Eyebrow waxing. The salon appears clean and tools are brought out from a sanitizing device for each service. As for the waxing, it is gentle enough for my sensitive skin and I never had problems with blisters or a reaction following eyebrow waxes. The price is a little more, but I am fine with it. I will note the tables with towels for eyebrow waxing are covered with a towel that never seems to change. Hmm? Also they will sometimes not pluck strays missed so be sure to inspect in the mirror. You are paying for it! A final note: if you don't want skinny brows please tell in advance or be prepared for slim brows. Walk ins are accepted which is my preferred method. I get pedicures only now. I know they are a tad pricier, but in general I have been happy with the traditional pedicure. I have been rushed at times but I go during the day now and avoid peak hours for a better quality pedicure. It's hit or miss who you will get. Sometimes I like the technician and sometimes not. I try to talk to them and discover more about their lives which can be beneficial. Also let them know if polish is sloppy but generally don't have this too much. I like the lower leg and foot massage but again it depends on technician. Some are great with pressure points and others meh. You can take your own polish if you prefer. Here's my tips: When you walk in, sign inion clipboard for services desired. Someone will probably yell across the room what you need. Pick your polish right away. Indecisive? Choose a few and take them worth you. They will allow you to see the color on a toe. Wear flip flops because the ones they give you are horrible. While awesome they provide, just plan in advance. They will try to up-sell you, state what you want kindly and they will continue. If you are offended they speak Korean/Vietnamese or foreign language this is not the place for you. They do and I am sure they talk about you but whatever. It's close to my house like I said and I find the pedicures the best. read more
