Such a wonderful place to have a meal. Absolutely every aspect of our meal was excellent:…read more We tried the dip sampler and my friend had the chicken schwarma platter. The dips were all delicious and rich, and the pita was fresh and warm. The garlic aioli was also strong and creamy. The atmosphere was very family friendly with an almost cafeteria-like feel. Very casual and comfortable environment, with fast and easy service. The washrooms also surprised me with tampons and pads for anyone who needed one. All in all, food was authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.

I remember trying it (takeout) years ago but this is the first time I came in for dine-in. I love the cozy interiors and aesthetics. Decor is nice especially the booth seatings. Menu has a wide variety of options to choose from, but we opted for the family platter since it seemed like the best option for sharing. Portion was quite generous and a decent amount to share. We got the BBQ chicken ($74.99) which came with either rice or fries (or you could do half/half), salad of your choice (we opted for fattoush), 2 dips of your choice (we chose baba ghanoush & muhammara), 4 fresh pitas & a whole chicken. Restaurant has a lot of parking and seating. Staff were nice but it was a bit of a slow service (had to constantly ask for things, such as cutlery, plates, etc). The washroom had the A/C on blast and it was freezing cold but at least it was clean. Now for the food - everything we had was pretty good. I usually don't like garlic sauce but the one that came with the food was pretty creamy and delicious. As for the baba ghanoush, it didn't taste like it but it still had a nice flavour. The Muhammara was amazing, not overly spicy. As for the fattoush, I found it just OK. I've had better ones elsewhere and I find that it lacked the crispy pita bites, as there was only a few. However, it's worth noting that the chicken took around 30-40 minutes to be ready, which I didn't mind because it came well seasoned and well done. It was not too dry, but not juicy either but seasoned well. The rice was also ok and I like that the food wasn't too greasy, but the plate came with way too many onions... I'd recommend this spot and would come back if I'm ever in the area. Would love to try other dishes on the menu.

Have you ever been to a restaurant that say they missed you???…read more So I did the Harvey's for like two weeks after my office peeps were saying...Ivana were sick of shawarma. Funny thing, I was a faceless person everytime. Yes I mobile ordered and yes I didnt spend 5min annoyingly listing the toppings one by one, but they were slow at filling and saw me every night...and still I felt faceless and nobody. I returned back because my bookkeeper actually reads the Pennysave (???), yes apparently she reads all the junk mail that comes through the office and she declared it is time to return to Lazeez because she was sick of the veggie burger option that tempted her to order onion rings and fries because ordering a salad was the same as doubling up the toppings (I do agree with that). In any case returned with my two can dine, so just a break down the regular shawarma is 7.99+tax, the two can dine is 12.99+tax with two chicken shawarma and two drinks. So it's a $3 saving overall with a drink. And because I never eat alone I always order two for someone else to join me :) So when I ordered and they were filing my order I observed new toppings when I was...made aware that I hadn't been around for week (hehehe I know!). And then I said everyone was sick of the shawarma. So then we chatted and in my absence I missed their $5 shawarma deal. I said what!!!!! What!!!!@!!! And she said you usually order a Large. To clarify she is the manager while he, the employee, was working. I said yup, someone's on a diet and ordered all of us to eat the same size -as we do in the office when someone wants to lose weight (ahem my bookkeeper). Frankly it felt good to be missed? And it seems they got new branded paper bag and wax wrappers and bags... I said back to the Manager thats expensive, you can wrap mine unbranded next time. I swear even just returning twice I was remembered and going to Harvey's for two weeks I still felt like a nobody. Thanks peeps at lazeez. They did give me a heads up on their anniversary they might be having a deal. Their last anniversary was $3 shawarma. I dont endorse being a regular eater at one place because eating is like travelling, you have to have variety. So have some conversations and see how people are doing. :) #ThankyouThursday and thanks Natalie CM for promoting these resto hashtags. Lol

I've been here twice with my boyfriend and we've chosen something different and delicious each time! The first time we were there, I ordered the hummus wrap and he ordered the chicken kafta wrap. We had originally wanted to order the baba ghanouj wrap and beef kafta wrap but it was a Saturday and they had sold out of those items, so make sure to come earlier in the week if you want to try those! However, our second choices still proved to be very satisfying. They make their Saj bread which they use for the wraps right there in the restaurant so it's as fresh as it can get! My boyfriend really enjoyed his chicken kafta wrap with the Saj time sauce (a slightly sweet and savory sauce). My wrap was filled with lots of hummus and loads of fresh veggies. We knew we had to come back again! The second time we got to try the beef kafta rice plate and baba ghanouj wrap! The beef kafta is made with various spices and is extremely flavorful, my boyfriend got it topped with the Saj time sauce again because it was so good the first time. My baba ghanouj wrap was packed with veggies, it was food that felt good for my tastebuds and my health! I'm not sure what the baba ghanouj specifically tasted like because I had a lot of pickled vegetables (beets, banana peppers, pickles) that had very strong flavors. Saj time has so many unique items and I would highly recommend it to all my fellow Yelpers and non-Yelpers to check this place out! The prices are very fair and they also have daily specials! For my next visit, I have my eye on the Apple Sinister Saj dessert!
