From the layout of the restaurant, to the staff and the food, their consistency is nearly unparalleled to any other chain. Their model is simple - Good food, good service = Happy Customers. On this particular occasion, I was craving their French Toast Breakfast. One of my usual go-to orders at Cracker Barrel. French Toast, two Sausage Patties and an Orange Juice. When the server brought out the food though, it was not the French Toast Breakfast. It was a French Toast Bake, which I'd never heard of. I looked puzzled and asked her what it was. She realized the miscommunication and put my real order in immediately. She also stated that since she put the plate of food on the table, she couldn't take it back, so she let me take it home. A few minutes later, my delicious French Toast arrived. It was perfect in every way. Later that day, I heated up the French Toast Bake at home and had it for dinner. It was okay, but it was re-heated. I may have enjoyed it more when it was fresh from the kitchen. Would I go back? I always do! With my extensive travel, there is almost a Cracker Barrel within 20 miles of whatever highway that I'm on. The billboards and signs will always remind you. These billboards work! Even if I wasn't thinking of it, I will be as soon as I see their sign. Now I want pancakes!
