I was in Findlay Ohio for work and we were looking for a lunch spot when a local employee recommended this spot. As soon as I looked at the menu I was sold. The location is in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking. There are enough seats inside and there was even a large group there when we stopped on. It was very clean and the delicious smells hit you right when you walk in. I had a hard time deciding between pizza and a grinder but settled for a half size (9") Grinder this was plenty of food and served open face. It was the perfect ratio of meat and cheese toppings. The bread was toasted perfectly. My whole group was happy with everything they got. The staff was super friendly and seemed happy to answer any questions. This will definitely be on my return list. First and foremost, the food was excellent. Everything was cooked well and seasoned amazing. I was very happy with my meal and I tried some of my girlfriend's food and it was quite delightful as well. The service was amazing. We were constantly checked in on by some amazing waiters and waitresses. The atmosphere was great as well. Good looks on the walls looked very nice and plenty of TVs to watch. She told me the online order time isn't correct so when ordering you can't depend on that. I gave this restaurant a low rating because we called to order out for pick up on Sunday Oct 2 and when I asked if the dish included peppers the guy on the phone said he would ask his manager. It was obvious he was in training and lacked confidence taking orders... This was no excuse for the manager to berate him like she did. She spoke so loud I was able to hear every word she said ...she was angry and belligerent towards this person. The upper management should probably take a look at her training skills ...she has no patience and was most likely intimidating. It was embarrassing. I felt terrible for this guy. If you like lasagna, I've got some good news. They make a nice little pan and it has all the ingredients in it. Yes there is a catch, I didn't know you could spread ricotta so thin. If I hadn't dissected the lasagna, would have not noticed it was there at all. Gave them 3 stars because - have had worse and they came so close. A nice casual restaurant for the whole family. It is family friendly and provides a variety of choices for the picky eater. My in-laws were in town and I had to choose a restaurant that was safe and this place seemed to work out perfectly. One can order pizza, grinder, calzone, or pasta. We ordered the Bacon Chicken Ranch which they use bacon instead of little bacon bits (one reason for 4 stars). The pizza crust was decent as it wasn't too thin or too thick. They put a decent amount of bacon and chicken as every piece seemed to have everything. The cheese and ranch went to the edges and it was cooked perfectly. I also tasted the Stromboli grinder. I wasn't sure this was going to be but it was decent. I don't know if I would go back and get this but my mother-in-law liked it. They have a u pick two for $6.49 where you can get a slice of pizza and 4 inch grinder. I thought that was a decent deal and a nice lunch option. One could also choose soup or salad. This is a safe bet restaurant as it seems the food is tasty and not too pricey. read more

I'm not sure if this particular Bellacino's is under new management from when I was younger or what but we have been here 5 times in the past 4 months and this is likely to be my last. My girlfriend and I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt and we make excuses for them but I'm done with it. EVERY time we have ordered from here (take out 4 times delivery once which was horrid and I'll never do delivery from here again) there has been issues. The one time we did delivery, expected time was an hour and it took two hours! No call, no I'm sorry and the food wasn't even warm when it got to us. And on all 4 of our take out orders something has been wrong. They didn't even give me the correct grinder for my daughter the one time I ordered it when my kids were with me, and my other daughters grinder didn't have 2 of the toppings that were requested for it. Now on our current order, expected wait time was 30 minutes for pickups and we came in to get the food 15 minutes ago (right at the 30 minute mark) and they acted like they didn't even know what I was talking about, so clearly my food isn't ready. Still sitting here waiting and 6 people have already walked in and out with their orders. Such a shame because I used to love love LOVE this place when I was younger. Something has happened, and definitely not in a good way, to make it go down hill like this. Needless to say this will be our last trip here until we are told they have their crap together, and even then I will surely be skeptical. I recently attempted to get a takeout order from this establishment. I ordered a large pizza, 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 cheese (my wife is a vegetarian). It took them 30 minutes to make my pizza, even though I was told it would be 10-15 minutes. Then the pizza came out and it was full pepperoni. I informed the manager, she proceeds to argue with the cook instead of addressing me. I didn't have time to wait another 30 minutes for the pizza, so I had to leave. I had paid for the pizza upon arrival to the store 12 minutes after my call. So, Bellacino's effectively wasted 30 minutes of my time and stole $12. WOW TERRIBLE SERVICE. read more

I'm staying a couple of days in Findlay for business. I had just spent 4 hours in the car and did not feel like leaving the hotel to go get food. So after looking on yelp to see what delivery options were around I found out that Findlay really loves their pizza! There are a ton of Pizza places to choose from. After much deliberation I landed on Bellacino's. I almost didn't due to the lower star ranking then some of the others but ultimately it was the fact that I could order everything online thru Grubhub that sold me. After a long day the less interaction I can have with people the better. Well I'm glad I did! The hotel I'm staying at has a kitchenette with a fridge so I ordered a lot of food to try and sample a couple of things and have leftovers for tomorrow if it was good. I got the lasagna, a pepperoni calzone and a side salad (gotta watch the figure ). The lasagna comes with an entire order of garlic bread which you can add cheese to if wanted (I did!) The servings sizes are huge. I will probably have left overs for 2 nights. The lasagna was great, the sauce is a little on the sweet side but is delicious. You can tell that they use quality ingredients. The cheese in both the lasagna and the calzone was fantastic, not all greasy like some cheap cheeses some pizza places use. The sauce was definitely made fresh and again with good ingredients. They pepperoni In The calzone has just a tiny bit of spicy. Now the calzone bread was interesting. . The dough almost reminds me of a yeasty dinner roll. I wasn't sure I liked it at first. But not one to give up on something I plowed ahead and had a second piece. After much deliberation and a 3rd piece I decided it worked with everything else in the calzone. When you get a bite with a bit of the spicy pepperoni, the gooey cheese, that yeasty almost sweet dough and some of the pizza sauce they include it was really good. I defiantly recommend trying this place out despite any negative reviews you may read. Most are in regards to slow service at the restaurant and not about the food itself anyway. My delivery arrived prompt and ahead of the estimated time and the food was nice and hot and fresh. read more

Bellacinos pizza is good. Nice crust, reasonable topping ratio. Good enough sauce. Service is another story. I called repeatedly one Wednesday night. Actually 16 times over fifty minutes to place carry out. Busy busy busy. I drive over and place an order. I say as a courtesy " your phone must be off the hook". I am told yes it is. Then a side conversation between employees..."we could probably hang up the phone". I would think so! Two pizzas on the carry out rack. 8 two tops out of 24 tables in the restaurant. Try a different scenario...take the call. "Say wait time for carry out is 40 minutes would you like to order still" Hell yes. I could do a few things instead of wasting my time waiting for them to make pies. Oh and stop doing prep and put people on the line in a rush. read more

It was good. Wish we would have ordered a whole pizza, but since it was our first time (passing through town) we ordered a few things. My biggest complaint is that it took 35 min to get our food. I thought that was too long for what we ordered. Spaghetti w marinara was ok. Kinda bland & the noodles were overcooked, they bake it in the oven. We got one slice of pizza. It was good, pepperoni is very spicy! Salad is fine. It would have been nice if they served it first so the wait for the food didn't seem so long. And we got a grinder (steak sandwich). Because we ordered it with no mayo it was dry. Hardly any flavor. On the positive side, it was a clean restaurant & the service was nice. I love their pizza and the garlic cheese bread is some of the best I've ever had from a pizza place. What stinks is their delivery service! I called at 3:30 hoping to have a pizza delivered and found out they do not deliver until 5pm - that's cool I totally understand. I waited and called again at 5:02. The lady (the same one I talked to earlier) said let me see about the delivery wait and put me immediately on hold - in my head I was thinking "What wait?? You did say you start delivering at 5 right?" She comes back on the phone and says my wait will be 45 minutes to an hour. So I ask for clarification. Apparently you can order at an earlier time for delivery at 5 when their driver gets in - thanks for letting me know my options on my first call oh wait you did not give me any... When in Findlay we love to visit Bellacino's for pizza. Today we had their BBQ chicken pizza and it was quite good. There were nice pieces of white-meat chicken with just the right amount of cheese on top. The BBQ sauce had a nice tangy taste and the pizza was really hot--perfect! And the pizza top is almost 100% covered with the toppings--not a lot of crust like other places. The cheesy bread sticks were good too.The ambiance is not all that great, but all in all a nice place to eat really good pizza. read more
