This was actually the first one of the chain that I have been to. There was one big pro and one big con. In my opinion, the pro slightly edging out. The pro I find here is that you get great value for your money. There are some decent quality dishes at decent portions for great prices, especially considering the economy these days. The con I found was our service. A couple of our orders were messed up multiple times, although they were willing to try to make it right in the end. Which is great, but of course the multiple mess-ups don't help. All in all, I think I would definitely visit another chain or even this the same one if I was in the area again. I think for a sit-down restaurant these days, it's hard to beat the value proposition here. read more

My students and I were on our way home after a weekend trip to Lake Erie/Cedar Point. They begged for Texas Roadhouse on the way home. We pulled into this location a couple minutes before they opened and there was a small line waiting to go inside. We jumped in line too. We had a small wait but only because we had a group of 8 that they needed to set up for. We got seated promptly after they got a table together for us. Our server was amazing and super sweet. She was so gracious with this crazy guy awesome group of teenagers! Some of my kids also work in restaurants so they were great about making sure not to leave it a nasty mess for the server and bussers. Anytime she asked us if we needed anything else, the kids all had requests, but she remained gracious and cool. We've all been to TR numerous times, so we knew what to expect when it came to the menu. Most of us ordered smaller meals. I can chow down on their mashed potatoes all day! Started with floaters in my blue moon, the waitress was reluctant to fix it, but I scooped out multiple pieces for her to see. My girlfriend and I both ordered medium steaks, mine was well done/medium well, hers was very rare. I also ordered fries as a side, did not receive them, and let the waitress know. Our waitress was a very polite and attentiveperson. The meal we had was mediocre. The salads had very limp lettuce. The biggest issue was the manager on site would only allow two drinks to be served to our table over the period of our entire meal. When we ordered the third round of drinks for the table, we were informed by our waitress the on duty manager would not allow us to be served anymore and it was not just us. It was even the people at the bar. We politely paid our bill and left, but will never return again to that restaurant. I recently had a less than satisfactory experience at a Texas Roadhouse location. As someone who travels for work, I make it a point to visit Texas Roadhouse restaurants whenever possible. During my last visit to this one a few months ago, I encountered issues with the service. I observed the hostess allowing individuals who were not on the reservation list to be seated, which I found concerning. When I brought this to the attention of management, their response was that the hostess was young and simply trying to accommodate her friends. During this visit, I requested a table for two but was told that they could not seat me until my friend arrived. I explained that I wanted to order appetizers and begin my meal before the second person arrived, but I was informed that they would have to go to a separate table if they arrived late. As a fan of Texas Roadhouse, I believe that this location would benefit from some improvement in their operations. Outback is right across the street ! read more

Don't order online. The website will tell you one time, and then it will still take an additional thirty minutes for it to be done. Ordered my food at 9:06, it said it would be ready at 9:33. Cool, we get there at 9:36 and are told that it will be ready in 4 minutes. It wasn't ready until 9:53. The bread was not their usual bread, and it was cold. We didn't get gravy for the country fried chicken. They didn't give me honey mustard for my chicken critters. This wasn't a very good experience. I don't like to eat at chain restaurants. But, the front desk lady at the hotel gave me a 10% off ticket for this place, so I had to try it. I have to say that the rolls they shoved in my face as I sat down were absolutely delicious. Maybe I was really hungry, but they were light and fluffy. I ordered two pork chops, which were prepared in such a way that pleased me. I dipped my fork bites into the gravy which accompanied said pork chops, and I did not regret that. The baked potato was pretty good. The green beans peppered with bacon bits were not good, however. In summary, I give this chain five stars, possibly for being in the right place (near my hotel) at the right time (my hungry time). read more

One was smaller than half the size of the other, leading me to believe it was a lesser quality cut, yet still charged $18.99 for it. 4) food was cold when we got it home. The previous night we ordered fish from Fin's and it was piping hot by the time we got it home. Did not feel going back to get this rectified was prudent, as it was so busy and feel they probably wouldn't care. So no, I will not go back. I'll go to Steve's or Outback next time. Over the years I have probably ate at 20 different Texas Roadhouses in Ohio and across the US. I think that gives me a pretty good perspective on their food, standards, and service. With that said this was a very average experience on all three counts. As I was traveling I stopped in Findlay for what I thought would be a tasty, early lunch. Compared to their dinner rush, this place was not busy at all and appeared to be well staffed. The parking lot, men's restroom, and dining room were clean and orderly. I waited five minutes with no one ahead of me to get seated at the bar. The bartender greeted me and got me a drink very fast. That was the only time I will use fast in this review as I waited ten minutes to place an order, twenty minutes to get my food, and ten minutes after I finished to get my check. I did get a refill with my meal. Overall though based on how NOT busy they were, I spent a lot of time waiting that I shouldn't have had to. I really like their pork chops and I think as a whole this chain tends to be very consistent. To my disapointment, the chop was over cooked as I am use to getting a tender, juicy chop and instead got an overcooked and dry piece of meat. The fries were luke warm. When you get use to fries that are crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, it is a disappointment when you get less than their best. The green beans were very good. This was my first stop at this location after driving by many, many times over the years. I hope I caught them on a bad day, but this will be the last time I stop here for awhile so I will just go back to driving by again and again. Went in with a party of 6 on 12/10/2021 our server started off with "I've been here since 10 am so I'm tired." That's when I knew it was going to be down hill. I had ordered a salad with my meal so did just about everyone else, salads came mine never came. Finally asked someone for my salad, it gets brought out and I had asked for ranch and was served blue cheese, i then asked another server for a new salad with ranch I was served blue cheese again. Our food came and everyone had ordered mashed potato's and she had said they were out so we all ordered baked potato's. Well she sat everyone food down asked if we needed any napkins and walked away, well I wasn't done talking and had to seriously yell for her to come back to ask for my baked potato they were out. So everyone but myself got all of our food. She came back with checks, never asked if we wanted ant desert in which we were all wanting a desert. But after we got our checks laid down just about everyone was ready to leave.. In the last 2 months that place has gone down hill. Not sure that we will be back anytime soon. read more
