We methodically worked our way from the front door around the store, through the sale area and toward the dressing rooms, our arms full of clothing we were excited to try on. We were abruptly stopped by a young blonde worker who informed us the dressing rooms were locked and she couldn't open them because it was ten minutes before closing time. Seriously? There was someone still trying clothes in a dressing room, three ladies coming in the front door and not even quite ten minutes til the top of the hour. Plus, you literally watched me gathering clothes and working my way to the dressing room. Why didn't you tell me sooner?? The worker said 'well I can hold them for you until tomorrow'. First, I live 100 miles away; and second, I can try them on faster than you can fill out the hold paperwork. I don't believe I've ever had such a negative customer service experience especially when the store itself was so amazing :(

There are several signs highlighting Trump and the importance of being conservative. I have never been treated like this by a company and immediately felt uncomfortable and judged for nothing other than making a comment about the signs posted. I was paid a small payment but for only the one item. The cashier at Glasgow could not even tell me which one sold. These were expensive items, not junk. I expected better treatment than this. Really wasn't sure what to expect when going into a place that is so vaguely named The Bookstore…read more... ok, well maybe we had a bit of an idea. Horse Cave, KY is a surprising little destination on our trip to Mammoth Caves and we were delighted with our finds while visiting this little town. Most everything is located in a pretty small quadrant, so you can make your rounds to all the different shopping locations pretty easily. This book store was surprisingly big, and had something from every genre. Prices are reasonable and they even have some items that would be considered more collectable and had prices that acknowledged that. Staff was really nice and helpful and they had some really great prices. We would stop in here again if we made our way back to Horse Cave.
