I knew my HVAC…read moreducts were leaky so I hired them to seal them with Aeroseal , which is an aerated glue which plugs the gaps in ducts.... This process is very safe once the polymer cures, but you do not want it to dry in your lungs which happened to me because they did not plug the registers properly. It has been a year and I still have breathing problems and use inhalers regularly. In my opinion Lawson did not train their workers properly to work on HVAC systems . Another big problem was that the one air suction filter box they used was too small for my 2800 ft house. In conclusion i made a HUGE mistake in hiring them ....

I asked the office what was covered for free per the website, and this was the response: "To clarify, while we do offer free estimates, the $179.00 service fee was disclosed during our initial phone conversation. You had the option to decline the service at that time if you did not agree to the charge. Additionally, had our technician identified any further issues with your system during the visit, a free estimate for that specific repair work would have been provided then." I must have misunderstood during the original call, but beware that free isn't free. Also, the tech called at 915, told me he would arrive between 1015 and 1030 and got there around 1115, outside of my 9-11 service window.

The work was done on time, professionally, and quickly. The workmen were courteous, and careful to protect the heating/cooling system in my attic. A large hose had to be run through an upstairs bedroom window. But the workmen did an amazing job protecting my furnishings. I did not even have to vacuum after they left. I used this company to insulate the belly of my trailer and I thought they did a good job, till I…read moreput the new kitchen back together and tried to use the sink. Drain was plugged tight and after trying to snake the drain I pulled a piece of the spray foam insulation from it. I then knew I had major problem. I called and spoke to the secretary and explained the situation. She gave me the boss's number to call and I left him a message, never to hear from him. I called the secretary back and told her I would be in touch after I investigated more. I crawled under the trailer and cut enough of the spray insulation to get to my drain pipe. I cut the pipe and it was plugged solid. After removing 3ft. Section I then saw the reason why my drain pipe was clogged. There was a hole the size of a quarter in the pipe and this is where they pumped the foam in. There was even more foam in the uncut pipe so I took pictures and called my plumber to get estimate of running a new pipe. With the estimate in hand I called one more time to get some justice for the malicious act that was committed by what I thought were some nice Spanish guys that work for this company. Once again I got no return call from this company. I guess once you pay they are done with ya. I will never understand what made those fellas do what they did but it was a very painful experience. I hope someone will read this and think twice, maybe three times before using 1st state insulation.
