Best decision of the wedding was hiring DJ ET! He is an awesome genuine individual who is passionate about his job and it shows in his execution. He delivered on everything we asked for - and was extremely diligent with detail and collaborating with our other vendors. At my wedding, about eight separate people came up to me and exclaimed things like "this DJ is amazing!" E.T. Hazzard (aka DJ Dangerous Alien) did an incredible job DJ'ing our wedding, which took place about a month ago, at the Brazil Room in Berkeley. We found E.T. through Yelp, and were impressed by his reviews, which frequently mentioned E.T.'s skills at being master of ceremonies, and keeping people on the dance floor throughout the night -- which was one of our top priorities for our wedding. We had also gotten quotes back from numerous Bay Area DJ's, and many of them were $2K or higher, which was a bit over our budget. We met with E.T. twice in person -- first to meet him and get a sense of whether we wanted to hire him, and then again before the wedding, so we could discuss the wedding day timeline and make sure we ironed out any remaining details. We also exchanged numerous emails and videochatted with him once as well. E.T. was very professional, laid-back, and easy to talk to and work with. He had us fill out a questionnaire before our second in-person meeting, so we could describe our music style, and list specific songs or genres that we wanted played (or not) at the wedding. He shared some sample playlists with us on Spotify so we could pick our favorites for the cocktail hour/dinner and then the dance floor. These were very helpful to work off of, and we ended up creating new playlists (including additional songs we liked) that we shared back with him, which seemed to work well. DJ E.T. did a great job mc'ing the wedding ceremony and the reception. One of our shuttle buses arrived a little late, but he made sure everything else ran seamlessly and according to schedule. Our friends and family were able to clearly hear our vows, and E.T. ensured all our guests transitioned quickly from cocktail hour to the dinner table, so we could do our entrances and do our first dance before the dinner buffet lines started up.
