I hired Irma as a bartender at my Wedding in La Jolla.... She set up an hour before we arrived. She charged an OUTSTANDING RATE of 200$ for four hours. I provided all alcohol before hand for her to serve me my wife and our guests. She went above and beyond for everyone! Extremely friendly. Drinks were mixed very well she could make you whatever you wanted granted she had ingredients on hand. She made sure to not skimp on the liquor poured drinks strong but mixed very well. AND more importantly she mixed the drinks very quickly for 45 guests across four hours! She is a one woman show and we took very good care of her due to her amazing work ethic! We hired DJ Frost for my daughter's HS Graduation Party and are extremely happy with his services. Our normal DJ had to cancel on us due to a medical emergency and DJ Frost was recommended to us about a week before the party. We handled the contract through email, his price was great and he showed up right when he said that he would for set-up. Due to our tight schedule, I didn't get a chance to meet with him before the party so I didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with everything, he was completely professional, his equipment was top-notch, good speakers (no over-distorted bass and treble) a nice light array, a fog machine, and a large video panel where he could display the music videos to the songs that were playing which helps keep everyone engaged. In addition to that, he can create a QR Code and display it on the screen for the people to scan and request songs and it worked awesomely. A large portion of my daughter's friends are into K-Pop and we would have no idea where to start with that, this option kept them very happy as their songs and videos came right up. DJ Frost was able to keep all of the music flowing without repeating songs and the dance floor remained full the entire night. He played, K-Pop, Cumbias, Banda, Rock, and even Old School Rap and R&B Classics... Quite a diverse mix for one night! Last night was amazing we celebrated my son's 15th bday. We had him come over for my daughters Sweet Sixteen party and had a great time. Got good comments from all the guests. I and the guests loved having the videos playing on the projector. He has very nice lighting effects and fog machine. Let me start by saying that my first encounter with this DJ was back in November 2017. We really liked the variety of music and his set up. You also couldn't beat his prices. Thinking we're set to continue to use his services we went on to book him for my uncle's surprise birthday party this month. So what I'm about to tell you is why I'm giving him one star. I'd give him no stars if that was at all possible but I digress. This guy apparently had better things to do that he used parking as an excuse not to play at the party. We offered him assistance when he arrived but he never came back! He simply texted, not called that parking was tough and he didn't want to struggle with carrying his equipment! What?! His actions were beyond unprofessional and nearly ruined the Birthday celebration. We had to make do with a speaker and Pandora. Not only were we extremely disappointed but also embarrassed! I don't know what this guy's deal is but he has gone from 5-0 stars in my book and has lost our business. I hope that whatever he had to do that evening was worth it! read more
