In our calls with Chris, in addition to trying to get a feel for the music we wanted, he took the time to understand what we wanted and did not want on our big day, and made sure we felt secure with what was going to happen. It was such a huge relief when we first talked to him. In the planning process, we gave full input on dinner and dancing playlists, which was our preference, but it was also clear he would've curated an amazing set on his own. He helped set realistic expectations for how crowds ebb and flow on the dance floor so we didn't stress when fewer people were dancing at certain moments. And he did an awesome job taking a massive list of guest song requests we'd collected in Apple Music using it to rotate through different styles and requests to keep different groups of friends and family dancing.
