Short story- My wife and I got engaged in June of 2016 and decided to get married in Big Sur. This turned out to be a much, much harder undertaking than we could've known- difficulty booking a venue in the first place (due to booked and difficult to deal with venues) and then long heartbreaking delays where we eventually had to reschedule our wedding due to Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge getting damaged by floods in early 2017. Fast forward 22+ months from our engagement and we FINALLY had our Big Sur wedding this last month. Although we had always had very high hopes for getting married in Big Sur (high enough hopes to make the judgment call that it was worth waiting so long for) it was better than we'd ever expected. Our Big Sur wedding simply would NOT have happened, much less been as staggeringly wonderful, if not for the team of Mariah Green (our wedding coordinator), Kendal and Anthony DeLaura (our photographers), and Jeffty Martinez (otherwise known as DJ Jeffty). For DJ Jeffty's part- he was not only extremely accommodating and easy about our changing wedding dates- he was also extremely accommodating to me personally. Other than my wife, the music was the most important parts of the wedding to me (and maybe in my life in general haha) so I some pretty wild requests of DJ Jeffty- I asked him about his DJ equipment (in detail) and asked if I could dictate not just the general songs or a few special songs, but pick out EVERY single song for the wedding myself- from beginning to end. I sent him an inquiry email for my wedding and knew from the moment I received a detailed response that I wanted to work with him. He's very easy to work with, really nice, flexible, patient, responsive and super knowledgeable.
