Since this was my first time at this location I went down every aisle. I have commented in the past that all the Publix stores are laid out the same way, which makes it easier to navigate around an unfamiliar location. Well, that theory is exploded. Almost nothing I wanted was in its familiar spot. But that's Ok, I got some walking exercise and it made my shopping experience fun! This store is one of the few locations that has an olive bar ($10.99 lb). They were out of the Greek Olive Salad I love, but still had plenty of other selections for an olive lover, including an Artichoke Salad. They were also out of a lot of things I normally shop for at Publix: Distilled Water, Sweet N Sour marinade, Pickled Ginger, and Chicago Style Giardiniera. Now I understand most of those items are obscure, but Distilled Water? Really? That's like being out of stock on digital gift cards! (Amazingly Bing is out-of-stock on Digital Amazon Gift cards, but that's another story). There are a LOT of employees. I didn't have any trouble snagging one to find out if the item I wanted was out-of-stock or just hiding from me. I talked to about 1/2 dozen employees. 3 of them were on the ball, and 3 were clueless; Which is above average for grocery store employees in my opinion.

The layers of Avocado, Cheese, Milanesa and even Jalapenos' was great! The big miss was the Al Pastor as not only was it dry but it truly lacked flavor. Also, the Tortillas de Maize are definitely different down here. I'm not sure what it is but it almost tastes flavorless. I can't figure it out. The salsas provided was great and while there was tortilla chip options (I know they don't belong in a true Taqueria) I just got some Tostadas instead. I would come back here and did appreciate the store portion where you can buy some candy, pantry items, packaged items, beer, etc. There is plenty of parking lot parking here!

Besides groceries and produce, there was a nice assortment of gifts, jewelry, chopsticks, etc. The store is very clean. Free on-site parking and it is easy in and out.

I was so happy to find fresh recao (culantro leaves) so I could make my sofrito. I didn't get to try a full cooked meal but it did look and smelled delicious. I did try a Cuban sandwich with a cafe con leche, it did not disappoint. I'm planning on stopping by before my 5hr drive home... something for the road, you know.
