Came by the Wawa on 22nd Ave N after a late night out and placed an order for a chicken corn chowder, a quesadilla, and a fruit smoothie. My quesadilla and smoothie came out rather quickly, and then a young woman named Briana walked over, asked if I had a certain order number, and let me know they had run out of the chowder. I was pretty disappointed since that's my favorite soup and I was starving. She apologized, explained what they still had, and offered to make the chicken noodle soup if I wanted it. What stood out was how she related to me right away, mentioning how she loved the corn chowder too. It felt genuine. I went with the chicken noodle soup, and she made it with a smile. While it wasn't able to sooth my soul, Briana's attitude made the whole thing better. I just want to give Briana a shout-out for being kind, upbeat, and easy to talk to at a time of night when most people are checked out. Great service. read more

This was a zoo at 9:09 am Thursday morning. Everyone parks in gas spots and goes inside to buy food. So rude. I went inside and talked to the person calling out numbers telling people their food was ready. I asked if she could make an announcement for people to move their cars/trucks from the pump if people are getting food. She told me that people have to come inside and pay for gas. If this was true they wouldn't be parked for 15 minutes at the pumps. There were workmen with big trucks and trailers. It is a terrible set up with no signs up about this and frustrating to have to drive around for so long to get gas. read more

While the ingredients were delicious, we had a problem with the preparation of our sandwich. The bread was completely soaking wet and soggy. The $18.80 BBQ pork sandwich and Mac was not really edible, well the Mac was ok, but the main course was a soggy mess. We were not able to eat the sandwich. It was also cold, when requested to be hot. We tried to take it home and put it on the stove in a skillet. Still not good. The bread was ruined. Who knows why this Wawa cannot get it together for their sandwiches, but we will not be returning. read more

Chicken Quesadilla reminds me of cat food. Wet, slimy and undercooked. Cheese not melted. I've had the same exact chicken quesadilla at a different location and it was the best I'd ever had. Donut was tasty, but kinda wet and they were out of strawberry and vanilla frosted. Other wawas I've been to the donuts weren't wet. Don't go here unless your getting a candy bar, bag of chips, or a bottle of soda. Stick to packaged processed stuff NOT made on wawa. read more

Stopped by at Wawa because they have a better selection of food than the usual late night drive thru's. I ended up getting the Gobbler bowl with mashed potatoes and cranberry on the side. It's a Wawa. Coffee selections are extravagant and plentiful. A large selection of sandwiches. And all the other snacks that you would desire are readily available at all Wawa locations. This one is just off of I 275 in St. Petersburg. Makes for a quick stop on our way to Tropicana Field, or on our way home after a baseball game. This will be one of our stops whenever we are headed to or from a game. read more

I work at the Lowes in the same lot. I'm convinced their employees have never seen a sandwich from the way they make them. Now I'm also convinced they don't know what a salad is!!! Had to tell an employee that the carrots are the orange things. Also he couldn't tell the difference between Parmesan and cheddar. Also gave me two different dressings Keith of which I ordered. Also looked very confused when I asked where my salad was to begin with. There were 5 people back there and no one was doing anything, all on their phones. I'm never going there again. Came here to try this sub . My friend was here from California and said she had to try thesub because evidently they beat out all the major subchains . Definitely love the sub here . But mostly because Wawa has rocked my driving world. more often than not while on the highway I am looking for good gas station coffee (yes, it does exists) from a store that is well lit at night and has free air for tires and I turn to yelp in the hopes that someone took the time to write a *useful* tip (not filler tips like "whoa, I'm tired." That's not a tip people.) COFFEE! Yeah, so I'm not always in the mood to pay Starbucks prices and there are precious few open 24 hours. That's when you need good gas station coffee and this Wawa location totally delivers. Piping hot coffee that is actually strong! Cuban coffee, flavored coffees, they have tons of options. Plus they have soy milk, whole/skim milk, fat free non dairy creamers and basically a whole coffee bar for you to make your coffee exactly the way you want it. And for about $2 and change- that is an unbeatable deal. Fast gas. No not the stuff you get when you eat broccoli, the pumps here are pump out gas fast so you are in and out ASAP. There are other gas stations where it takes me forever to reach a full tank because the pumps are so slow. Plus they are always playing some light rock music that keeps you entertained for the few minutes you are there. Well lit area. Most gas stations have adequate lighting but this is for people who (like me) are new to Wawa are not familiar with their awesomeness. FREE air! That is free Air for tires. How many gas stations have i stopped at where you are charged a ridiculous fee to put air into your tires. And I would mind less paying for tire air if the machine accepted cards! But no; most of this antiquated machines accepts only quarters! What bs. Not only do I not have 10 quarters but I also don't carry cash to get change from inside. Anyway, wawa is a life saver with its free tire air. All of this combined makes me a loyal wawa customer and I will make the extra effort to go here. read more

My sister and i went inside to get gas, she used the restroom and i waited for her, my brothers then came in and asked a question. I then realized how every employee and manager were staring at us.. my sister came from the bathroom and realized as well and walked to the manager and asked why she was staring.. her reply was that we "look suspicious" and then she demanded for us to leave the store.. it was so so rude.. it makes me never want to walk into a wawa again ! I love this Place. Every time I stop in, which is probably 3 times a week, all the employees are nice and happy. That is so rare these days. Stopped in for lunch... got an Italian sub and it was really good.Nice place to eat outside.

New, clean & busy. Spacious interior. Excellent restroom. Food prices are similar to 7-11. Cold drinks seemed colder out of their cases than other places-refreshing! Lots of help on duty throughout. I was not as impressed as other writers of WaWa with the food. They have lots of packaged options including fresh fruit but I was not "blown away" by any of the offerings (and so disappointed that half a pretzel is 330 calories!) I appreciated being able to get in and out. The exit sign on 275 said it was .4 miles away but it seemed a lot more like a mile off the exit. Wouldn't go out of my way to go here again but glad to have experienced a Wawa. read more

I can't stand all the homeless people always passing time inside and outside. Looks super unsafe. They lay around outside charging their phones. Smoking. Turned on gas pump- went to put away credit card and check on my children. Pump was turned off. I went to check to why it turned off, pushed every button before I finally gave up then they come over intercom saying they turned it off because I wasn't standing next to pump and this is required. Mind you there are 4 employees staring at me through the window. I have never heard of this prior and since I'm pregnant and always try to avoid diesel fumes I never have stood next to pump. I think maybe this was a funny prank to them or something? Save yourself the hassle and drive 1/2 block west to Racetrack. Went to buy my co-workers and family 6 gift cards like I do frequently, plus a coffee, plus my own gas - cashier was rude from the start informing me I was not going to buy anything unless I had cash because you can only buy gift cards with cash. She sure wasn't trained with any customer service skills and made appoint of not wanting my business so I left the coffee - went down the street to Race Trac where they were glad to have my two hundred dollars on my debit card. So disgusted I won't even go to Wawa in my own town now. I was visiting family when this occurred in St Pete.
