I seriously don't even know where to start with how amazing Brandon is. I originally got his info from the coordinator at our wedding location. I told her very plainly that I wanted the best, and she said he was it. I emailed to book with him and he insisted that we meet and get to know each other to be sure he was a good fit for us. his laid back but very professional demeanor was a perfect fit. Perfect mix of not uptight or overbearing, yet clearly on top of his game and experienced. Through the planning process I didn't want to even touch music selection, it seemed like an insurmountable job and I kept putting it off. Brandon was awesome at not letting me fuss, just giving me small things to do. He even was able to give me some lists of common songs when I got stuck. A few days before when I got him all my stuff he gave me a call to walk through some of my choices and how that may affect the night, giving me a chance to make changes that would make the whole wedding better. It was perfect! We had lighting as well, however I wasn't sure what color to use, because our wedding had 7 colors, evenly distributed, so there was no primary color. Each centerpiece was different, each bouquet a different color, etc. He was able to have them slowly rotate throughout the night and it looked perfect! One thing I loved about Brandon was seriously how he basically ran the show. He new everyone's name, every minute of the schedule, who was doing speeches and who wasn't allowed at the mic LOL. All of it! He kept everything so on track and on schedule that everything flowed through perfectly. He is clearly a professional and I got to be totally worry free the whole night. He knew the coordinator and the space and it really showed. Even with me texting him my entrance song the afternoon of the wedding, he came through! My absolutely favorite thing that I cannot get over is how much he was worried if I was having a good time! He kept asking what I wanted to here, if there was anything I needed or wanted to do, etc. He was so attentive. I am really easy so as long as everyone was having fun I was fine, but it was so nice to be cared about so much. Finally, he let my groom get on the mic (don't worry it's okay, he is a good singer =P) and sing over a few of his favorite go to songs. He got to sing and dance and steal the show for a bit and that meant a ton to him. I had a great time watching him have so much fun with that. i really liked that he was so flexible about it! I am so grateful for Brandon! I was told that he is the best and he truly is! From his DJ talent to his lighting expertise, Brandon was able to keep the dance floor packed and the ambiance beautiful. We found Brandon thru a recommendation from our wedding coordinator. He was the third and final DJ that we met with. His ease of personality and ability to give us multiple options made him the far better option! In addition to being our DJ, Brandon also did our uplighting and our monogram. All came out exactly how we wanted! Originally, we thought that the most daunting task was going to be choosing key reception songs - father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, cake cutting, etc. Yet, after a few simple emails to and from Brandon, we quickly had all of our reception songs picked out. It should be noted that Brandon completely respected our hectic schedules and only gave us manageable tasks, like choosing for a given list of songs, which was much appreciated!! I am so grateful that he played music that matched our style and gave something for everyone to listen to, dance to, and enjoy! One of my favorite memories of Brandon occurred during our reception; Brandon noticed that neither my groom nor I had taken the chance to sit and eat. He walked over to the two of us and informed us that we would be starting speeches in 10 minutes and that we could take that time to sit and eat. To me, this meant the world. It showed that Brandon was looking out for us. All too often, brides and grooms gripe about not having eaten at their wedding. Thanks to Brandon, we took those 10 minutes and enjoyed some food! I knew Brandon from frequenting a local bar he used to DJ for. When it came time to planning my wedding, he was the only DJ I knew. Lucky for me, he is an awesome wedding DJ. We knew the wedding was going to be amazing because we were in good hands and if we had any questions about anything, Brandon was there with answers. I just got married less than 2 weeks ago and to me and my husband, the DJ was one of the most important parts of the wedding; Brandon was actually the first vendor we hired when starting to plan our big day! I will go into some details later on in the email but all I can say about him overall is that he is AMAZING!!!!! He really gave us everything (and more) that we were looking for in a DJ. Not only was the music fabulous (we are still getting compliments on it) but the lighting package he provided us was GORGEOUS and the whole wedding reception flowed beautifully because of him. Music Selection: This was something that felt overwhelming to me while planning the wedding. It came down to a few days before the wedding and I still felt like I hadn't given Brandon enough of a direction with the music. He called me up about 5 days before the wedding after multiple emails back and forth and we talked through everything! After that conversation with him I knew I didn't have to worry about narrowing down the song choices so much because we were on the same page, which was a nice feeling. We gave him a list of songs we had to have played, a small list of songs we didn't want played, and he took it from there. A guest at my wedding said to me, "I have never seen a bride and groom stay on the dance floor ALL night long!" and that's what we did! Every time I thought I might leave to go mingle, Brandon played a song I just couldn't resist dancing to! He kept guests on the dance floor all night! Lighting Package: Lighting was very important to us. We got married at a yacht club where the walls were white, the carpet was blue, so I told Brandon we needed a lot of lights so that people wouldn't see that! The first thing we got was a monogram spotlight. Brandon gave us a large selection of styles to choose from, but when it came down to it, he actually ended up designing one especially for us! It was gorgeous. It was supposed to be pointing down on the dance floor, however because of the venue and the area we had Brandon set up in, he wasn't able to get the right angle for the light to look correct shining on the floor. He found an alternate location, right above our sweet heart table and grabbed Zach before the reception started to ask if it looked okay... it looked AWESOME! MC Skills: Brandon pretty much ran the show that night! From the ceremony on through to the last dance and he did an awesome job! He kept it simple and classy and paid a lot of attention to details. He didn't pronounce anyone's name incorrectly, he stayed on schedule and even changed the schedule up a little bit in order to make the evening flow a little better. Any time there was any deviation to what we had discussed, he rushed over to either Zach or myself, or both of us, and gave us his suggestion and asked us if it was okay, and his suggestions were always right on! Overall we were more than satisfied with his entire package. He spent a lot of time with us before the wedding to make sure he had all the information he needed to make it our perfect night, and he did just that! It was flawless! read more

Brandon was the DJ for our wedding on April 9th 2011 and to say he did a great job is an understatement. Brandon worked with us from our initial meeting up until our wedding day on tailoring the night to our specific tastes, while including some of his recommendations based off of his extensive experience. My wife and I found all of his suggestions helpful and implemented just about all of them. With all of the intense planning that we put into our wedding it was a comforting feeling to know that once we got to the reception everything was taken care of. We did not use a wedding coordinator for our wedding and Brandon took the lead to make sure that all of the vendors involved in the reception were on the same page. Weeks before the wedding, he requested all of their contact information to make sure that everything would go smoothly and lessen the burden on us as we got down to April 9th. A week or so before the wedding we had a conference call with Brandon to go over an itinerary for the reception that laid out the events to take place during the evening (Father Daughter dance, Cake Cutting, Bouquet toss) and the approximate times that these were to take place. It was a tremendous relief to have someone as detail oriented as Brandon taking charge on our big night and allowing us to greet our guests and enjoy ourselves rather than worrying about the flow of the evening. My wife and I talked to a few other DJ's prior to interviewing Brandon and they all stressed one thing, " hiring the right DJ is the most important decision you will make in regards to your reception", and after our experience with Brandon I couldn't agree more. First, HIRE DJ ROOSTER. This is a clutch decision if you want to have a DJ who is attentive and listens to you regarding what kind of event you to have. Brandon Weisman is a true class act. He gives the type of customer service that seems to have become archaic to so many others in the service industry. He is smart, eloquent, and downright amazing. He went above and beyond for us from the first point of contact. He showed up to our event with a professional look and demeanor, he introduced himself and showed me where he kept his "wedding emergency kit." Yes, he has one. And trust me ladies he has thought of everything. From Shout wipes, to Aleve, to sewing kits, his tackle box of goodies will assist in a pinch. Once the reception started Brandon did not only DJ, he ran the show. I felt like he was my personal assistant. He let me and my husband know where we needed to be, how much time we had, ect. and gave us ample notice so that we simply spent the whole night enjoying one another. Before we announced the wedding party he even came to me to make sure he was saying each name properly, which I found very lovely. When the food service started (we had a buffet) he made sure the hotel staff pre-plated food for us and brought it to our sweetheart table. He even checked on us during dinner to see if we needed anything, we asked him if when he went back to the DJ booth if he could ask one of the servers to come open our bottle of wine, he said "let me take it now for you," he took the bottle, had it opened, and brought it back to us. He really took on the role of an event coordinator. He was RAD. He played wonderful music and we received so many compliments on his flow, ect. Everyone had a great time. Brandon was the DJ at our wedding on January 7, 2012 and did the most incredible job. He ran the entire event so smoothly, which was a feat since the groom was in and out of the reception with the flu and we had to change around the entire schedule last minute. He handled all of the last minute changes extremely well and was so helpful to me, giving me heads up of where I needed to be so I could make sure I was back from checking on my husband in time. In addition to his superb coordination of my event, the music was fantastic!
